Knights Inn

The room was a great size, warm and comfortable. Good off road parking and walking distance to a supermarket. Good location if you are travelling from out of town and have appointments at Greenlane Hospital. The staff let us park in their car park during our appointment and the hospital is a 10min walk away.

Just a couple of small things, the kitchen didn't have a toaster for breakfast and sadly part of the motel is been used for emergency housing.

We checked in at the mid night because of our overnight flight. The manager picked up the call very soon when we arrived and helped us to settle down quickly. The guest laundry was temporary out of services and he helped us with our laundry, both wash and dry. The room is a little bit dated but well equipped, the small kitchen have everything you need for a short stay. One of our room's aircon was leaking and the manager tried to called for help, but actually it was midnight and new year holiday so no one can help. But he then moved us to another triple room on the next day and gave us extra mattress and bedding. He had done his best to help so we still enjoy the stay very much!

The room for 4 adults is a bit too small that we cannot open our suitcases, so better for you to book a separate room if you are more than two guests.

The room had separate access and was easy to bring luggage into or access the car. It was fairly spacious and right next door to a grocery store. My wife and I also were able to walk back from Eden Park after 10 PM (22:00) and felt safe. The hotel is also next to several bus stops (the bus had stopped running at the time we walked back).

Smaller parking lot area and had to get to the inn by pulling a u-turn on the road it is located on.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked 3 rooms for our travel group, and we were given side by side rooms on the ground floor which was greatly appreciated. One of our rooms was also upgraded so that my niece could sleep on a single bed instead of the sofa bed. Impressed with the comfort and amenities of the room for the price and size. The kids loved the jacuzzi in our room.

The toilet facilities in our jacuzzi suite were clean but a bit old. The outer plastic layer of the shower head was peeling and I got a small cut on my finger while handling it when showering the kids. Ceiling had some mould as well but it didn’t bother me very much. The toilets in the other rooms we booked we’re fine!

Spotlessly clean, quiet, everything we needed. Surprised at how peaceful the room was given the location - almost on the corner of two very busy roads. Very close to great eating spots and Cornwall Park just up the road was a definite bonus.

It's almost due for a revamp but didn't detract from out stay at all. The bed was very comfortable but the mattress was getting near the end of it's life.

Outstanding customer service-very warm welcome, freindly while maintaining professionalism. Phone call received prior to arrival to confirm booking change request was also really pleasant. I was left with a sense that this place genuinely cares about their customers experience. The bed was fabulously comfortable and the linen was of high quality. Very convenient location. Felt safe here too. Undergoing renovation so will be even better once thats completed I travel to Auckland for work each month and Knights Inn will now be my 1st choice.

Not dislikes as such-rather suggestions/observations Coat hangers in wardrobe would be good Front bottom outside of fridge door corroded, does not affect function just looks scruffy Nice coffee/bedside/dinning tables that unfortunately haven't been respected by other guests, again doesnt affect function but looks a bit rough Net/sheer curtains inside of main curtains would add a layer of privacy(doors made of see through glass) None of these would stop me returning

Easy to park. Bed was big and comfy. The carpet looks so clean . Kitchen was small but enough to cook most of everything. Specially the shower .. water pressure was 100%perfect .!! Room condition was great ! Clean and tidy . So satisfied staying with young children. Oh all staff so kind! Thank you for looking after us . Cheers

Easy check in, all prepared waiting us. The room was very ckean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

There was an situation where guests upstairs at 3am were arguing and screaming but the landlord soon sorted it out. Other than that we were very comfortable.

The room was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. It was also right opposite Alexandra Park which is where we needed to go. Close to nice food shops all within walking distance. I would stay here again for the next event.

Honestly I have no complaints, I was very satisfied with my stay.

Location and the nearby shop & restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our request to leave our bags there once we had checked out

There was a very noisy group who must have woken the entire complex up on Sat night/ Sunday morning when they returned to carry on partying at the motel
