Absolutely loved this property, completely underrated! Stayed here for three nights for a friend’s wedding and it was perfect. Rooms were clean and well equipped for our stay, beds were comfortable, and staff were friendly. There are two restaurants on site, and we visited Picasso’s twice for breakfast and once for dinner. And every time we were impressed, some of the best food we have had in NZ! Thanks for a great stay, we really enjoyed it.

Nice spacious, clean, warm room and bathroom. Great shower and water pressure! Loved the welcome from the neighbors cat, was one of the highlights. Blue sensor light in bathroom was useful too. Good parking.

Electric blanket had a big lump under the sheet, where the cord attached, which was very uncomfortable to sleep on! Double bed could do with a bedside table on both sides. I improvised and dragged the coffee table over to use.

Convenient, accessible, affordable and comfortable accommodation with well appointed rooms and close enough to town to walk. Free parking and friendly staff.

Would have preferred that the staff wait until we finished our dinner (which wasn't late) before attending to packing up all of the restaurant and leaving the doors open to bring in the outdoor furniture.

Very clean and well appointed property. Used the gym small but perfect when travelling. Had dinner at the restaurant on-site, wonderful food and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and good size. We were in a disability friendly room and it was great. Large shower with good hot water and pressure. Well heated and comfy

Room was very clean and smelt fresh - a change from the awful air fresheners some places use. The roast pork meal in the restaurant was superb.

Not all the units were booked up so why not leave a unit between each of the booked units. Makes for a quieter stay.

We had dinner in the restaurant which was extremely well presented and tasty. Room had a balcony which we enjoyed a cuppa and the view on arrival. Very clean and good facilities. Free newspaper. Would recommend it to anyone.

The food offerings at the affiliated Picasso Restaurant were very good. Service was very good.

Amenities were standard. Below what would be expected for the pricing. No hot plate, instant coffee and bargain brand tea. No coffee press, small capacity refrigerator. No breakfast offered due to staffing shortage.

Housekeeping always had the room done before we returned for the day.

Not very sound proof rooms. I could hear the neighbors next door talking at 10pm

Location and views were great

Outside works blocked off the balcony, was unusable. When spoken to at reception was given another unit. Outside was not clean, cobwebs +++ unusable again. Was disappointed.

We did. It get breakfast was not available. The lovely lady who served me at reception was so helpful and helped us choose a restaurant for dinner that night .

We would have liked to have been able to have our dinner and breakfast there . Apart from that and the very loud snoring from next door everything was great .
