Yvonne was exceptionally welcoming on arrival, providing considerable relevant detail regarding the accommodation and surrounding area. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious, containing comfortable furnishings, a table from which work could be completed, a large comfortable bed and a very well supplied kitchenette. The bathroom was large and modern, containing a decent-sized shower unit and a basin cabinet enabling personal toiletries to be placed. Cannot wait for another excuse to require accommodation in Blenheim again.

Nothing. It was all very perfect.

It looks 'standard' on the outside, but the owners have taken the time and expense to make it much more than 'standard'. This was a modern family suite with up-market facilities: great air conditioning, a fridge better than the one at home, very comfortable bed, and the full range of Sky channels. The host (Yvonne) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a pity we had an early ferry to catch and I would have like to have stayed longer.

Only one tiny niggle. The large pillows were squeezed into standard sized pillowcases, making them very hard and high. I took the pillowcase off, enabling me to squidge up the pillow to my liking. (I've had the same problem at home, which was solved by buying larger pillowcases.)

What a fantastic place to stay. Nothing could be faulted, from the intricate decor to the location. Our accommodation was magnificent, with a Spa Bath and an overhead shower. The studio is fully furnished and decorated to make it feel like home. The chairs are really comfy and suitable for people of all shapes and sizes, which we appreciate. The bed itself is so comfortable that you won't want to get off of it. Thank you to the employees for creating such a welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a home away from home. The booking and check-in processes were simple, and I appreciated how they communicated across all platforms. Once again , thank you to management, Host, Reception, cleaners, and maintenance personnel for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be booking with you guys again.

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left (sadly), everything was just truly wonderful. The owners are lovely people and gave us great ideas for places to eat, etc. The studio (studio 5) was deathly quiet, couldn't believe it as the motel is on a fairly busy road. It contained all the essentials for our 2 night stay, was very stylishly decorated with a small private outdoor area. We would thoroughly recommend this incredible place if you are passing through Blenheim.

Nothing at all.

Great to have full oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer in the unit. The 3 bedroom family unit we booked was away from roadside which was great to have no road noise. The main bedroom has a king sized bed which was fantastic too. Friendly, hardworking, honest owners.

The wall between the main bedroom backed onto the unit next doors kitchen bench I would say, as I could hear them opening and closing the drawers, yakking and even hear the key going into the door when unlocking. Perhaps some acoustic panels/wall covering on the wall behind the bed could help and maybe between the bathroom and toilet room too lol. The driveway is a little tricky to manoeuvre in if you have a larger vehicle...perhaps best to reverse your vehicle in.

The location was central and easy to get to, and it was lovely and quiet. The apartment itself was warm, clean, and inviting and pleasantly modern, and the facilities covered everything we needed. The beds were very comfy - and the heated blankets and wooly underlay were great on those cold nights. The owners were friendly and great communicators as well!

There wasn't anything to dislike about our stay.

The room was large enough to have two comfortable chairs so you could read or watch tv without having to use the bed. The room was comfortable and the shower was the best we came across after travelling round the South Island. Would have been nice to use the outside patio but it was a quick overnight stay before crossing back to the North Island. Hosts were also able to supply us with frozen packs to help get our frozen crayfish back home before they thawed.

my partner and I stayed for two nights here for a wedding we were attending over the weekend and it was amazing! such a beautiful, clean, spacious room! we had everything we needed. The owners Terry & Yvonne have really gone the extra mile to make sure you have everything for your stay. we had our own private outdoor area which added such a nice space to have your morning coffee in. I 100% recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again, it was beautiful. comfortable beds, beautiful set up and amazing owners.

nothing, it was perfect!

Hostess was very friendly and obliging. She also provided excellent recommendations for places to see and activities to visit. Location was within walking distance of town centre and other restaurant options. Although we didn't use the spar bath it was a nice option and made for a roomy shower. Highly recommended.

The entry at the gutter was a tad steep although probably not much that can be done in that respect. More than one coffee (which was very good) should be a standard inclusion.

The room was so clean and beautifully appointed....there was everything you needed....and more. Communication was superb from the owners.

For us, it was a bit close to the main road...especially for people who normally live on a dead end so even though we would stay there again in a heart beat, we would probably have to choose somewhere on a quieter street
