Absolutely wonderful. Not often I give a 10. I am well travelled. My booking.com ratings are only showing 1/2 of the places I stay. I loved the quietness of this place alongside the facilities. It had everything in the kitchen that I needed. I stayed with my 11 year old, the room was exceptionally clean, nothing was a problem for the host. I even decided to have an impromptu extra night stay as it was comfortable. My bed was excellent, and the TV in the room was modern enough for Netflix which was excellent. The motel is in an excellent location. I highly rate this property over a hotel and I would definitely recommend.

Sure Phoenix Motor Inn is easily one of the best motels I have ever stayed at in the whole country and I have traveled a fair amount and stayed at quite a lot both in the North Island and the South Island. It felt like a home away from home. The owners were very accommodating to me with my son and my wee dog. I can't fault this motel. Incredible water pressure in the shower, incredibly comfy bed.

Very friendly reception on arrival. The groundfloor unit was a two bedroom and really spacious. Two large double rooms (both also had single beds in the room as well). There is also another single bed in the living area. One of the double bedrooms has a full onsuite. The main bathroom is equipped with a large wet floor shower. The living area was large, with a 6 seat table, couch and full kitchen with lots of bench surface and a fullsized dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The TV has a full Sky TV option of you are staying in. The entire unit was immaculately clean and well maintained and there was plenty of parking outside the unit. The motel is well located, 2 minute drive from a shopping centre in one direction and mother supermarket in the other, a fuel station almost opposite. Roughly a 5 minute drive from the town centre.

No problems or issues

We had stayed here before so knew what to expect: It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, including good quality teas and coffees. Location was perfect for exploring local area. Although it was a long walk into the town. The owner was so helpful,offering use of her phone, when we needed to contact our airline.

the location is great - close to shopping centre, cafe's , Speights Ale House, Countdown . Nice and quiet in the rooms, lovely hosts and we were well looked after! We were both really impressed!! Serviced everyday, ultra clean, even when we were late home in the evening the owner had popped in and put the heater on for us which was great, because it was cold at night outside.

Perfect spot for a short stay! It had everything we needed - kitchenette with fridge and microwave, power shower and comfy bed! Also had most of the SKY channels which was great. 5 minutes to town and a minute away from the new West Wood shopping centre. Would stay again if we travel to Blenheim.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in a good location. Had everything we needed for our short stay and the staff were great.

The unit could benefit from an extraction fan in the bathroom as the room gets quite wet with the use of the shower. That would be my only critique everything else was great.

No exhaust fan in bathroom, bath tub does not have curtain, glass panel covers shower partly, bathroom gets wet & slippery after a shower, so need to take care. However, heavy towel provided to soak up the wetness

This is a very clean and comfortable motel. I really appreciated the well equipped kitchenette. There was real coffee rather than ubiquitous instant coffee found in most New Zealand hotels and motels. If you're here to visit the vineyards you'll not be disappointed. There are many and within easy driving distances.

The night I was here, some of the locals were having a party. Even with all the windows shut tight, it was pretty noisy to well after midnight.

Great comfortable accommodation

No privacy If u were upstairs, cause other guests had 2 walk passed ur room & the balcony isn't wide enough to sit outside with other people using it.
