On arrival it’s easy to think you have booked a hotel in an industrial area, but once you get your, bearings , you realise it’s I perfect location just minutes away from the main activities in town with an easy access to roads leading out of town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful . We stayed 5 nights so booked a larger room for the extra space and were greeted with 2 spacious bedrooms , as well as a small sitting area , and functional kitchen and bathroom. Everything worked, everything we needed was in the unit , plenty of space and a very comfortable bed.

If you wanted to be particular, you could say that the area could be a touch noisy at times , but it honestly never affected our sleep or enjoyment of the room.

An excellent location to explore the centre of New Plymouth. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily. Parking was good though a very long car may have trouble. The bed mattress was very firm which is fine if you like that (I prefer soft). The tv had Netflix though the seats were a little hard. However there is really very little to complain about and actually this is a very good motel. We spent 3 nights there exploring New Plymouth. Our one main issue was it’s right next to a very busy road so lots of car noise. If you are used to car noise then you probably wont really notice (but we are from the country where it is quiet). A Pak n Save just across the road with lots of eating places very nearby made eating something very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. If firm bed mattress and car noise doesn’t bother you then stay here!

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The range of toiletries were good, the staff were helpful and friendly, and parking was at the door. There were many cafes close by and the supermarket across the road.

Unfortunately, the micro venetians didn’t block light from the security lights outside very well so the rooms were not dark enough for us. The room was beside the driveway into the property so all vehicles had to past by. The wardrobe in the main bedroom was musty so the extra pillows stored in there had a nasty odour. The air freshener provided in the bathroom caused us to feel ill. We were allocated the multi ability room which was not what we had booked. I had requested confirmation of our booking as I had cause to change it well in advance but that was not received.

We loved our stay! The owners went the extra mile to accommodate us after we were unable to make it for the first night that we had booked due to a situation out of our control. They let us change our dates and come the following day for our 2 night stay. The owner was so kind and understanding over the phone while we organised the change in our booking. When we arrived, it was clear to us that the owners loved hosting and had put a lot of thought into the little details! The Motor Inn was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. The beds were lovely, not too hard, and not too soft. Our stay was made so much better by having a great place to stay. We liked it so much we spent extra time during the day relaxing in our spacious and quiet room. Thank you very much for having us! I highly recommend staying at this Motor Inn.

That i couldn't stay longer!

The location is excellent. You don't even have to drive anywhere. It's close to supermarkets, fast food, nice restaurants, and just a few blocks away from the coastal walkway. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was serviced every day. Even the outside was spotless without stuff laying around. We really enjoyed our stay. The Asure Abodeon Courtenay is highly recommended.

The motor inn is well located within walking distance to the centre of new Plymouth, the coastal walkway, restaurants and supermarkets. Owners are friendly and very helpful and the service staff are obliging. Washing machine and dryer are available for use at no extra cost which is a bonus when travelling :) Connectivity was good- wifi worked well. Kitchenette means can cook simple things and clean up.

Second stay here. Will be our regular go to everytime we visit. Situated straight across from supermarket and 5min walk into main town centre. Lovely, clean and good a size for 3 adults. Staff are friendly. Although sits on main road, it didn't feel like it was a negative.

Sits on a main one way road, which we did not bother us. Just a precaution for those wanting a quieter location.

I stayed here twice during my visit to New Plymouth, The owners are lovely and really helpful. The location of the motel os close to town for restaurantas and cafes, but also very close to supermarkets. Room facilities were great with excellent wifi and TV services. Room was very clean, and free use of the guest laundry was a massive bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again,

Clean warm with everything we needed including kitchenette with microwave, fridge, electric hob, pots & pan & kitchen utensils & dinnerware. Clean comfy beds with electric blankets were great. Loved the handy location as is across the road from Pak N Save & Countdown, with Burger King, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Indian Food, Sushi all 2mins walk away and 2 gas stations very close too. I enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner. Would definitely stay again next time we are in New Plymouth.

By far the cleanest accommodation of all the places we've stayed during this holiday trip and good value for money. Central location, supermarkets and restaurants are short walking distance. We enjoyed our 2-night stay at Asure.

This is along a busy road so traffic noise is quite disruptive especially in the mornings. The shower over bath can be slippery, no handrail installed. Bed is not that comfy but not terrible either.
