Very busy street so pleased I had booked a parking place. Place was like a Granny flat with two bedrooms, each with ensuite, underneath the main house. It was very quiet and private. As we had a very wet day we appreciated the umbrella that was there for use. The full kitchen made cooking very easy. The pantry/fridge had a good selection of breakfast foods. It was an easy walk to get to the beach/coastal walkway and also only a short drive into the heart of town. The lounge was really comfortable. In all it was like being in a home away from home.

I do have a back issue so while my husband found the bed fine, it was a bit on the hard side for me. That is pretty standard around New Zealand though so probably not a problem for most people.

The spec is so high end. Beautiful unit with a stunning view. Electric blankets kept us warm on chilly nights. Huge range of breakfast options. Excellent value for what you get.

Despite saying they endeavour to not book strangers into the two rooms, both nights we stayed had others in the other room. It's not a huge deal but, because it is essentially a 2 bedroom unit with communal kitchen and lounge, it does mean you have to get dressed in order to make a cup of tea. Both sets of people were fine but, if it was someone you didn't want to share with, you'd be in trouble. There are locks on the doors so it is safe - just could be unpleasant.

Beautiful spot with a view of the sea and a great location for cafes, coastal walkway and the sights. Everything we needed was provided and David was super helpful sorting bikes for us. Very comfortable accommodation with great quality bedding, towels, amenities. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and breakfast. We had both rooms so I’ve to have the place to ourselves but plenty of setting and provisions for more as well as shared tv, there are tvs and ensuites in both rooms.

Beautiful new bedrooms and ensuites, large comfortable sitting room and kitchen. The fridge and pantry are well stocked with breakfast foods. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and even let you use their washing machine and dryer! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the coastal walk; and it's very quiet. I can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B

It rained on one day, but the great free museum in town was worth a visit.

The whole room or area given to us was awesome! The owner had some simple breakfast provided. The whole environment within the room is really top class with a bit of vintage design. We really liked it.

Nothing we didn't like as it was really comfortable for two pax and I believe for four it would be the same!

Our accommodation was absolutely 10/10 EXCELLENT in all respects... the hosts had clearly thought of everything, even down to providing the very best quality toiletries and good pantry of breakfast foodstuffs ! :-) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only regret that we were not able to stay longer !

This is more a shared apartment than a B&B - which I really appreciated. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need to whip up a meal, big terrace with great views and cosy chairs in the shared rooms. Beds are super comfortable, and the location is superb - right at the Coastal Walkway and Te Henui, short walking distance (15 minutes) to town. Great breakfast items provided. A real plus was the great company I had from my fellow travelers in the other room :-) Thanks for a great stay, David!

Freedom to make your own breakfast, plenty of variety and great facilities. They will also cater for dietary restrictions if you ask in advance . The bed was very comfortable and a clean and new bathroom. The sea is also visible from the kitchen area and the coastal walk is very close by. Ver quiet too.

Beautiful place very close to the beach. Very very well equipped. Great kitchen, comfy room and very nice bathroom.

At first we had no check-in information. After calling the phone number that was on the sign at the house (not the same number as on Booking.com!) we reached the owner who could help us. It was not entirely clear to us that we would share the living room/kitchen with only one other couple. However, this was completely fine.
