The accommodation located in Twizel was only a 45 minute drive from Mt Cook. There seemed to be four rooms and ours had a very comfortable bed which enabled us to sleep really well. The rooms were clean and we were provided with nice towels and a good shower. Parking is available and easy. As an alternative to Mt Cook Village Central Studio gives you very good value for money.

The walls were rather thin so you could hear most sounds in other rooms within the accommodation e.g. people's voices and running showers.

It was warm. Clean and comfortable beds. Cosy. Tv but no Netflix from memory. But nice having tv to unwind after a long day.

Micro wave. Have celiacs disease so couldn’t eat out anywhere in Twizel, would have been really good to been able to heat up my own food. Was really hungry after travelling. Had to have weetbix, which really sucked. Fridge with no ice box! Would have dearly loved a cold go&t! The fridge was too small. Large space in the room that could easily fit a microwave and a bigger fridge with an ice box.

Great value. Extremely clean. Nice attention to detail with a guidebook, coffee and hot cocoa. Great bathroom with nice soap, body wash, and shampoo. Modern TV with many channels and smart apps. Easy checkin with a funny and traditional kiwi bloke. Super low key and non corporate which I like. Cute property, well kept. Would stay again. Twizel is a quaint little town but it’s perfect after a long walk through Mt Cook.

Walls are a thin. One unit (the one I was in) has a neighbor upstairs and you hear every little creek in the floorboards. Nit picky but the comforter was very hot and didn’t breathe at all. Twizel is a very small town and things close early. There’s only a couple restaurants in town and they don’t follow their own posted closing hours, so eat early if you’re hungry.

The room was very nice, warm, it was clean and beautiful. We love the homey feel of the accommodation and love the garden too as they have beautiful flower plants. Great location and accessible to stores nearby.

It was only the noise of footsteps upstairs but it didn’t bother us as it was very quiet at night time when we went to bed. It is not something we didn’t like but the only comment we can give with our stay.

We went to stay at Twizel central after a long day of hiking at Mount Cook. Requested to check in 7-8pm after the standard check in time and host was ok with it as she lives on site. It was Cleanest accommodation we stayed in NZ. Huge room and bathroom, clean sheets for 3 adults - 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed. Can tell the host have put in effort and care into property. Thank you so much for your hospitality, will recommend to our friends visiting and return to stay if we ever come back to Twizel!

Only thing it didn’t have was a microwave as it seemed like all the other accommodation during our NZ trip had microwaves. As we only stayed there to sleep and left in the morning it didn’t affect us :)

Such a gorgeous location, we stayed there because we needed to get to Hooker Valley the next morning and it was a 3 hour drive from Queenstown but only 50m from Twizel. The room was so nice and clean too!

The bathroom floor was a little slippery after the shower (my partner slipped haha!) But other than that, everything was perfect :)

Very nice and spacious room with one double bed + one single bed. Clean and quiet. Equipped with a fridge. Conveniently located if you want to be nearby Mt. Cook without having to stay at Mt. Cook village.

The only thing we would like to have had was access to a microwave and it would have been 100% perfect.

We booked this room with an hours notice at 8pm in the evening. Due to office hours and our short notice there was no one on site when we arrived, but when we used the contact number, the hosts were incredibly helpful and made sure we were able to have access easily and were settled. TV package included sport, bed was very comfy and rooms a large size.

Everything. This was a motel with a difference. No boring cabin but a little haven in a beautiful garden. Spacious room, comfortable bed with beautiful linen, spotless bathroom with a strong shower and huge fluffy towels, excellent shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Powerful hairdryer… and lovely helpful owners

Nothing - it was superb

The location was nearby the restaurants and the host was super friendly. The heater works fine in the room as it was pretty cold when we arrive.

The taps made it a little hard for us to use, maybe because we are not used to it, but there is 2 taps - 1 hot and 1 cold. We had to constantly mix the water in the sink to use it and change a batch everytime.
