Location on point with shops & stores nearby; eateries noted etc.....Friendly frontline staff.......appreciated being able to settle into my room earlier than usual (I had travelled from out of town & arrived before usual booking in time). The room was very clean, tidy and welcoming. Personally appreciated the hand rails & seat in bathroom......demonstrated cares with meeting needs of those needing extra supports. I would highly recommend Motel to whanau, friends, colleagues. Many thanks.

The man at reception was really friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfy and there was everything that we needed for our stay. The room was very clean which we really appreciated. Air conditioning was available if needed and we did use it to keep an even temperature while sleeping as it was initially very warm. We would happily stay here again. Walking distance to several supermarkets and eating places along the main street.

Everything in the control of the proprietor was great. There was some overnight noise from the street or next door and the proprietor suggested that he would review security camera footage to identify, which I thought was fantastic service. It wasn't anything that was the fault of the motel.

Having stayed in multiple hotels and motels during our recent trip to New Zealand, this was by far the best value for money. At check-in, we were assigned an upgraded room by the very friendly business owner. The room was extremely clean and well maintained with a comfortable bed. Despite the location being close to a busy road, it was very quiet at night.

We've stayed here several times now and it is always reliable in terms of cleanliness, fitout and efficiency. The beds are good and it's a shortish walk down Victoria Ave to the centre, with various fast food options and two supermarkets within a couple of blocks.

No issues. If you're a light sleeper then higher-numbered units are further back from the road, but there's not much noise most of the time.

The spa bath was lovely and the main reason I specifically booked this room. The room was a good size and the hotel room had great kitchen facilities. I really loved the added extra of a lovely dressing gown for after the bath. The room was heated in preparation for my arrival on a cold wet afternoon. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a 'base level' motel. It does not promise to be glamorous accommodation. I was expecting the room to be a bit 'tired'. I was very pleasantly surprised at its fittings, furniture, bathroom fittings, and the fact that it is in perfect condition. All fresh and 100% clean. I was impressed.

You can't improve the basic motel footprint ... there is no room for a patio and no possibility of a nice outlook, but for a good, fresh, immaculately kept unit at reasonable cost you couldn't do better.

Beautiful room with a real fresh look. We were there for basketball and had to play at three different venues. Siena is located in the middle of where we had to be also close to town. Lovely management who let us in a bit early to freshen up, a quick cold drink thats already chilled in the fridge upon arrival and leave our gear in the room before heading to first game. The lady who services the room is really kind and respectful. Although it’s off the Main Street in town it was still very quite. We would definitely return to this Motel.

The hosts were brilliant, made us very welcome. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily, lovely towels, great reading lights, bed very large and comfortable, quiet and we would definitely recommend this Motel in Whanganui.

A very comfortable, spotless, good size room. The kitchen had everything we needed. Despite being on a main road, there wasn't much noise at night so a good night's sleep was had. Staff/owner were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Backing the SUV out was a tad tight as there's nowhere to turn around but we managed it at the far end of the parking area. It would have been much easier for smaller vehicles. Apart from that we have nothing bad to say.

everything! especially the hosts and cleaning staff were fantastically friendly and welcoming a true asset to the business and the region, bed was very comfortable, shower had great pressure even a heated towel rack! Spa was roomy & worked well, great to have hot chocolate as an option to the usual tea/coffee selection
