We didn’t realise how much heavy traffic used the bridge during the night and it was very noisy.

The room was warm, comfortable and clean and we were very appreciative that the owners had put the heat pump on and closed the curtains due to our later arrival as it was really cold. The decor was very nice. The beds were unfortunately very hard. There was plenty of storage and hangers in the wardrobe.and good quality towels in the bathroom. The shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the shower were a lovely addition as were there contents.

Our room had all the essentials needed and the female receptionist was extremely polite and helpful. We actually had real milk in a jug plus the kettle easily fitted under the tap spout 😊 Bonus was a great Indian restaurant called the Castle which was about 3 minutes walk away. Highly recommended unless you are a poor sleeper.

The Motel is easily accessible but also on a busy road so it is maybe too noisy for anyone who doesn't sleep well Our room was double glazed but my wife still had trouble sleeping. However we still recommend it as good value with very pleasant staff.

The shower was good, and I could change the pressure and spray. The aircon was amazing. I liked that they had a sign in the room saying they would bring you clean dishes if you needed them as there was no facility to wash them. The room was very clean and tidy. Had nice chairs to relax in. Was a lovely room, and the lady that we met at reception was friendly and welcoming.

Great location 1km from town centre. Was met by owner who was very obliging. Was visiting with my mokopuna and so she offered us a free upgrade which was gratefully accepted. I left my phone charger behind and was immediately contacted to advise me. They held onto it in the office until I was able to return 6 hours later. Great service!

Friendly & helpful staff. Super clean & great value for money. They stored our luggage for us which was really helpful. There’s a nice Indian restaurant close by. They have all of the travel information that you need in reception. Everything was easy!

In the past week of travelling through NZ, this was one of the best motels we stayed at. Beds were perfect. Not too soft or hard. Had all of the basics we needed including an iron / board.

A bit exposed to heavy traffic from time to time, and the perimeter could do with some trees to provide shade.

The owners were very welcoming and the room was well presented. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The property is next to a traffic junction but as the room is soundproofed and as a light sleeper I was not disturbed.

Great location for our needs. Owner very nice,due to our flight we arrived early and because our room was available we were given an early check in.

Great location - traffic noise not great but ok, as Whanganui reasonably quiet late over night.

Bedroom could do with some block out curtains but otherwise very comfortable, clean accommodation with a very comfortable bed.

Friendly, clean, local to shops, city etc. We satiated three days and every day there were clean towels, room tidied, fresh milk. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Thank you.
