We felt welcomed from the first moment. Check-in was super easy, and the room was exactly what we booked and expected. The gym is up-to-date and has a spectacular view over the city. TIP: Try out the outstanding cocktails in the Espier Bar on the top floor! (Located next to the Gym with the exact same remarkable view over the city and harbor) We enjoyed our trip to Stavanger and will choose the Clarion Hotel again if we come back.

The parking was not super easy to find due to a road closure during our stay. A more detailed and upfront information how to reach the public parking would have been nice but not a big deal at the end.

love this hotel. The staff is always extremely helpful and gave me an extra duvet for my arthritic shoulders. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely good. It is just up a hill from the wharf in stavanger so for me it is perfectly situated. Some people may have trouble climbing the hill but taxis are always available. The bus to climb pulpit's rock picked my up right at the front door. This is the place to stay in stavanger.

Exceptional breakfast. The USB chargers in the room are more practical for international guests. Having the iron and ironing board in the room is helpful. Really good base for lots of local museums and we we walked over to sverd i fjell which was just 2-3 miles away.

Could have been better if there was a sauna / spa facilties. Bedside tables are incredibly small.

It was our first night as a married couple that day and everything was perfect 🙂 The girl who worked nightshift on the 7th of July was extremely nice and service-minded. The hotel is lucky to have her. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I like that the hotel uses Rituals products. The last, but not least the breakfast was great.

the ambience, the location, the staff. there is a beautiful park nearby and of course the sea.

it is uphill. not suitable for people that has heart condition as it will definitely be very tiring to climb the slopes. I choose the room with the sea view. during summer time, it is warm but the hotel staff offered me a dan to keep the room cool.

The hotel is situated within walking distance from the central parts, the harbour area, in Stavanger. Don't miss their sky bar where you have a fantastic view of Stavanger from above.

The hotel offer parking places in an adjacent parking garage. It is however tricky to unload the car in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was perfect. Good selection and options. Nothing more to add.

Air condition in the dining area was a little bit too much. Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant in the evening was not always enough. But the service was good.

Location very good

There is no telephone in room to contact reception. As they say its for environmental purposes. And there is fire place for heating wasting gas all day without any cold . . There is no bell boy as we have 7 bags . Have to take to room by our self .

Everything - the reception (staff), the room (great view), the look of the hotel and the breakfast. The breakfast was exceptional! Fresh, great variety, great quality and quick replacement of run out things.
