We loved the rorbu. It was a small cabin having all we needed. Very comfortable and neat. I can definitely recommend the stay. Breakfast was also amazing, good variety of local food.

You have to book the sauna in advance in order for the staff to start it prior which we have not been said.. only said we can use it if we would like to. Other places have it running. I am just saying for other guests to know.. it is nothing that would disturb our stay in such wonderful place.

We were delighted to stay in a traditional rorbuer. This was right on the pier in svolvaer giving access to all the activities and facilities

The access to the bedroom is via steep ladder. This is manageable and adds charm but is not fir those on any way restricted

Anker Brygge is a great property in a spectacular location! So nice to stay in a property that is comfortable and yet sort of authentic to the culture and geographic area. The location and the view are stunning! Breakfast was good and the WiFi was strong. Svolvaer is a wonderful town. It's the capital of the Lofoten region and so it has some interesting vibes, large fishing industry and is also a good location/base for folks who are visiting Lofoten, like us. We flew from Oslo to Narvik and rented a car. It's about a 2hr drive from Narvik... and what a scenic drive it is!!

We had one rainy day.... but that's about it.

We loved this place! The location on a small island in Svolvaer was great as were the views out our windows. There can be a lot of tourists walking around that area, but it got quiet early, and stayed that way until we left at 9:45 the next morning. We also enjoyed our breakfast very much. It may not have quite the selection of some places, but it had what we considered a very good variety and quality. One thing to note - the stairs going up to the second floor are very steep and narrow, so if you have mobility issues this could be an issue. It was fine for our group. We will stay in this place again if possible.

I really like how big the room is. I booked for 3 guests, but my room can actually fit for 4 adults and 2 children. The room has its own underroof area and equipped with everything from microwave to kettle, kitchen ware. The location is great. Although it is located in center of Svolvær and there are many restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel is so quiet and private. Breakfast is very good and variety, they serve smoked Salmon and fresh baked waffle as well. My Mom and Dad said this is the best hotel for 15 days trip in Scandinavia.

Nothing.

Perfect for a rorbuer experience. We had an entire apartment (2 rooms) for us. Directly on the harbor, furnished with all object bringing memories to the sailors/fishermen life. The room is equipped with all appliance, if people want to stay longer, we had just one night. Nice breakfast, but don't expect extreme variety, is served in a separate annex near the reception.

Not a big issue, but consider that onsite parking spots will fill rapidly, and you'll be required to park nearby. It's a 5' walk distance, and from a certain hours in the evening parking in town is free.

The little resort sits on a beautiful spot in Svolvaer; the cabins was beautifully decorated and the view was fantastic. We loved that breakfast was provided and the onsite pub and restaurant was lively and enjoyable. We really enjoyed just being in the cabins and taking in the incredible views.

Black-out blinds would have been amazing given the 24-hour daylight and the little kitchen is quite limited for cooking (no oven, small hob). It would be really helpful if the cabin had a few more basics like a pint of milk, a little cooking oil - for those coming from outside Norway who can't bring those things with them.

Fantastic location in Lofoten. This was our home base as we explored the islands. The cabin was cozy - we booked both rooms in the Rorbu. As some people mentioned, the decor was a bit dated, but honestly I felt that gave it some charm. Otherwise the beds were comfy and the cabin was nice and warm. Also the breakfast spread was fantastic - felt very much like we were spending time at home.

Honestly we loved everything. Perhaps the fixtures could be updated, but again that wasn’t a problem to us.

This place was amazing! We loved it, and would highly recommend! Very cute, historic fishing cabin located in a perfect location to explore Svolvær! Very Cozy interior, with the iconic scenes of Lofoten right outside the door! The staff was wonderful, and parking was right at the cabin! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the deck right outside our cabin was perfect! The breakfast was delicious, with so many options! The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed to cook! Overall, we loved our stay, and would love to come back to this place to stay!

The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The accommodation itself was truly a unique experience. If you have an older group 60s above be sure to ask ahead about the accommodation if you don’t want bunk beds or a loft. It was a bit of a struggle for 2 people in my group. When booking online, I didn’t realize that the full bed is in the loft requiring you to climb and the bunk bed is in the main floor room. Breakfast had a nice range of items to eat and drink. The cleaning staff and front desk were very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again!
