The humidity caused really a bad smell that i could not tolerate. Also, if i booked my stay with breakfast i am supposed to get it delivered to my room and not strict me to leave it just to have it in the restuarant??

Perfect. Beautiful resort, beautiful large beach close to the room and other beach nearby - you can choose if you want a beach with waves (great for bodyboarding, e. g.) or a calm beach with no waves at all. Good breakfast, several pools, not crowded (during Christmas). A very pleasant aqua park nearby. Easy parking. I wouldn't search anywhere else and would return.

when you do the booking without all inclusive, food is very expensive (25 eur lunch per person), the same as coffee in lobby (7eur for mediocre cappuccino is a little too much), nearest shop is 15 minute drive by car

Everything, we took half board (Breakfast and Dinner) and I would suggest one should have it. Above excellent. They cater to all taste and culture. The location to main spots are pretty near, unfortunately, when we were there it was high tides and rough sea so no sea activities was possible. But else they are flexible, accommodating. The staff specially is so hospitable, well knowledgeable and most of all friendly who talks to you and made one experience most enjoyable.

Honestly I didn't think anything we don't like it. Except the lights in the room a bit dim, but not too dim. That's the maximum I can pull. But if one sees near and on the bed it has all the lights. Rest not a single complain from anyone.

The staff, specifically Mr. Osama and Mehmet went above and beyond the call of duty. It's a tough market out there and we understand people are more demanding, but the staff at Salalah Rotana did their absolute best to ensure my family and i had an outstanding stay. In addition, the staff at Drop-In Kids Club were incredible. We would not hesitate returning. The amenities afforded to being a Club Rotana member are worth it. In life the maxim "you get what you pay for" is very applicable here. I would not hesitate returning with my family.

I particularly enjoyed the stunning view and swimming pool In conclusion, ROTANA salah offers outstanding value for money. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfortable accommodation, excellent service, and a prime location. My wife, three friends and I stayed at Rotana Resort. Due to airline connections, we arrived at the resort around 11:30 am the second day. Unfortunately, our rooms were not ready and we had to wait for some time. IMELDA was at the checking counter and she did an amazing job giving us very comfortable rooms, explaining where the main facilities were located, the breakfast/lunch/dinner timings and restaurant locations, and on top of that, she recommended very interesting and must visit places near Salalah. We would like to give her a special thank you for her contributions to an unforgettable trip. We also had the opportunity to experience a dinner at your Silk Road restaurant. The food was delicious, the ambience was great, and the most important part, was the excellent service of all the people working there: ALI took our order and he made sure everything was perfect (thank you ALI!). All the waitresses were ready to bring/pick up anything we needed, and the chef and his team did outstanding work with our food. In addition, the people handling our luggage at our arrival/storage/departure times were very professional and attentive to our requests.

The waiting time for our arrival. We had already sent email messages telling your reservation team that due to an airline connection cancellation, we were not going to arrive at our initial time, and requested to have our rooms ready at our new arrival time. Also, our friends called the resort directly, confirmed our delay and requested the rooms to be ready on our arrival. For whatever reason, this did not happen and, even though your cleaning team prepared our rooms very fast, we still had to wait until they were ready.

Overall property cleanliness wasn't appealing Cups in the room were wiped with a towel n were not washed Jacuzzi was unclean Beach was unclean and closed I paid for extra bed for four days. I called up the reception immediately after coming to the room as the room was too cramped n we had a sofa bed. But they outright rejected the request for a refund.
