This hotel is the oldest hotel in Coron, founded 1991 by a former German engineer. It offers nicely designed rooms and a beautiful garden with flowers and various kind of trees. It also has a reasonably clean swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The staff - particularly the general manager "Alma" is very friendly and supportive. You can walk to the center of Coron in 10 minutes are take a tricycle for less than 50 pesos.

- our economy room had no aircon and on booking.com you only see this in advance by carefully studying the small print. This fact should be communicated more clearly in order to avoid misunderstandings. - WiFi is only working near the reception desk. - unfortunately the German owner passed away in 2021 and it seems, technical maintenance is partially lacking now. E.g. we had no warm water in the shower, although it was promised.

The environment is just great. living in a botanical garden! not far from town with walkable distance. the AC is working well.

the room was somehow close to a chicken farm… funny the roosters woke you up around 5 and after you fall asleep again the hens started to lay eggs around 7. you won’t need any alarms. but… we found it very funny and we are happy for the wake up service and went happily diving :) also, we found some gecko poop near our pillow in the morning. we were freaked out first day we thought it was rats. after we found out it was gecko, Mm……. ja, it’s nature:)

We love the location because it’s a two minute walk to McDonalds so it’s very convenient if we need to eat an early breakfast since their restaurant opens later and the pharmacy to buy water and snacks. We love the pool, the plants and trees around and plenty of hammocks. Their front porch is lovely to spend the afternoons with. We love their corned beef breakfast. Their staff are very friendly, ready to assist with your needs and always greet you with a smile.

There were plenty of ants inside the room and smells musty especially if we’re gone the whole day since the air conditioner is off when you leave.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our initial reservation was on a different day but our flight got cancelled so I went through the app to reschedule it and got charged an additional fee, they were very helpful and understanding of our situation and i got a refund. The place looked very homey and quaint, I definitely felt like I was living in nature.

One night at 2am the smoke alarm went off in a different room but no one attended to this. It kept ringing for an hour and I tried to ring the phone number provided but no one answered. Had to take matters into my own hands and ripped the alarm from the ceiling as it wouldn’t turn off. The pool looked like it needed a good clean as well, but in all fairness they did so on the last day of our stay.

The staff were incredible and so helpful. Everyone was so friendly. I was a solo traveler staying for a few nights. After the second day, my phone broke and they let me use their laptop and phone to try to fix my situation for 3 HOURS! Being a solo female traveler, I was very scared and nervous but the staff was so accommodating and helped me find my way through Coron Town Proper. They also helped book all my tours and transportation for the duration of my stay. The restaurant was also great. The food was delicious and very timely. The pool was exceptional and so refreshing to jump into throughout the day.

I knew this going in but the resort was a little out of the way of the town proper. It's difficult at night for a solo female to walk to places as the streets are very dark so getting a tricycle was necessary. The roosters next door were quite loud and I know that's out of their control but I woke up before 7am everyday to the sound of their loud crowing. The food at the restaurant was pricier than getting food in town, and I wish I knew I had to pay with cash at the end of my stay. I assumed it was billed through my credit card.

everything except the shower head holder in our room is broken. I liked the design of the room, the bed is comfy and the pillows too. Nice place to stay after the whole day tour. Very near to McDonalds, atm machine and drug store.

we stayed at room 5 economy room, the shower head holder is broken, it was inconvenient when you need to rinse as you have to hold the shower with your hand. there's hot water but only on our first day the following days nothing, but the other rooms water heater was ok.

The family room we stayed in was clean with spacious bathroom. The food we had from their restaurant were good but on the expensive side. The staffs were all friendly and efficient. Very close to town but still quite enough to get a good sleep.

WiFi was really really bad. Hopefully they’ll do something about it. This is the first place we stayed with this kind of WiFi signal. Water pressure is low.

The original owner did a wonderful job landscaping this property with lovely tropical plants and trees - really gorgeous. The pool adds to the ambience of the place. I like that the hotel is an easy 10 minute walk away from the noise and chaos of the city proper. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant food very reasonably priced and decent. Loved the coconut eggplant salad and banana pancakes. There is an amazing massage place just across the street that I highly recommend!

Some parts of this large property feel a little neglected. It would benefit the hosts to do a little clean up and upgrading of the spaces around the pool, especially the old plastic chairs and metal benches. With some tidying up, proper lounge chairs and a little TLC, the pool area could be 5-star!

Location is pretty good, 5min walk to McDonalds. About 10-15min walk to the center. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and nice. Welcomed us warmly. Also a smooth transaction, questions were answered right away. Very green and lush. Didn't eat anything from there but saw some guests enjoying their meals (which included fresh seafood.)

A little ran down but still is a really cute, quiet place.

The shower had hot water, the bed we slept on was comfortable, the A/C blew cold, and the entire property is gorgeous. We loved all of the natural beauty being allowed to flourish around the resort. The woman at the front desk was exceptionally helpful when we needed an airport shuttle. This place saved us! Thank you Kokosnuss we can't wait to be back someday!

The water pressure wasn't amazing and a few flies got into our room. Nothing I'd consider overtly overlooked.
