Owner of the resort was very helpful personality. Helped every time when I was needed. Restaurant facility is under construction and soon will be ready. Overall location and resort is at calm place and before the sea. Nice place to stay for solo and couples. Special to mention that owner drop me from his car to port without accepting any money from me.

We made a mistake with our booking dates, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into a seamless experience because of his help. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly and ensured that we were comfortably accommodated without any hassle. The resort itself is a beautiful escape—pristine beaches, peaceful surroundings, and cozy rooms. But what truly sets it apart is the level of personal care and attention from the host. He not only helped us with our booking mishap but also gave fantastic local recommendations, making sure we got the most out of our stay. Had a nice peaceful stay away from the busy main tourist part of island, was comfortable with air con and free WiFi. The hosts were very accommodating organising transport to explore the island and even though the bar is under construction was able to order food for room service at a reasonable price, the best part was the beach was lovely to swim in.

We will definitely come back again and look forward to seeing the bar when finished.

White Sands gave me the comfort, peace and tranquility I was looking for. Really enjoyed the comfy bed and aircon, clean room, and hot shower with lots of pressure. An added bonus is the location - adjacent to a sandy beach like soft sugar, a perfect place for a late afternoon swim in crystal blue water. Will be back!

Rooms are very comfortable, hot and cold water, good pressure, and good beds. There is a beautiful beach in front.

Breakfast and coffee can be improved. But there is coffee shops and places for breakfast near by.

Alan is a wonderful host. he is helpful and all the staff as well. The room and the common areas are clean and tidy. I highly recommend whitesands. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful property, Alan was very accommodating and gave me a ride into town. I can not wait to come back when the restaurant is open again. They are rebuilding after a storm.

The hotel is situated in a nice area of Siargao, where it is not so crowded and where there are nice beaches. The room was clean and staff and owner/family were friendly. The bar at the beach front was under construction during our stay unfortunately, but it is expected to be finished very soon.

we were a bit unlucky with the timing, as there were voltage drops over night and the fuse for the aircon blew out all the time at night. Might easily be fixed, I think and might thus not concern other guests.

Balcony with sea views

Construction work right next to the house with noise and workers looking into the balcony. When we met the host, after saying hi, the next thing he said is that if we bring more people we need to pay extra. and if we brought a pet we can't check in. Thats was our greeting which didn't give us good feelings. We did ask to bring a pet but got refused, that is reasonable but notable. Finally, there was power break almost the whole weekend. the owner house across the road had power and we had nothing. Maybe sparing some power for essentials (without ac or hot water) would not be a big problem and a lot more accommodating and decent.
