The location and resort area is fabulous and Nacpan beach is one if not the best beach you can see in El Nido. The breakfast is really nice since it offers you the option to order from a menu while also letting you suit yourself from the fruit/toast/egg unlimited buffet. The cocktails were really good, the food was only slightly above average unfortunately. What really stood out for us was the friendliness of the staff. Particularly, Mr Mark Galila is the friendliest and responsive waiter that we've ever encountered during our stay in the Philippines, so props to him. One thing to keep in mind, if you plan to experience El Nido or do island hopping tours I would advise against staying at Angkla, as the transfer between Angkla and El Nido Town is quite expensive and long. During our 2 week stay in El Nido we booked only 4 days at Angkla which was perfect for a retreat and relax, we didn't feel the need to get out of the resort during our stay.

My stay at Angkla Resort was an exceptional experience, making it one of the best hotels and beaches I have ever visited. The five nights I spent here were marked by a stay in a room that was not only modern and comfortable but also boasted a very unique and cozy design. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The staff at Angkla Resort were a highlight of my visit. Their friendliness and professionalism contributed significantly to the VIP feeling I enjoyed throughout my stay. Every interaction with them was pleasant and genuine, enhancing the overall experience. The quality of food at the resort, especially the lunch and dinner, was outstanding. Each meal was a delightful experience of delicious, high-quality cuisine. However, I did notice that the breakfast, while great, had limited options. The resort's beach is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxation and unwinding. The amenities provided in the room added to the comfort and convenience of my stay. Additionally, the transportation service from and to the airport was a significant plus, making the travel hassle-free. The warm welcome I received during check-in set a positive tone for the entire stay. In summary, Angkla Resort is a fantastic destination in the Philippines, offering a blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. It's a place where every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure guests have an unforgettable experience.

Really a beutiful and great hotel! Super nice rooms, incredibly sweet staff and very very nice food. The beach is truly one of the most beautiful I have been to. It really is a little slice of heaven (almost).

The only complaint I have, which unfortunately was really annoying, was that from approx. at 11 o'clock and until late at night there was SO loud music. I understand that there can be some lounge music, that's perfectly fine. But this was unfortunately far too high, so you couldn't relax or hear the waves at all. I really hope they will consider turning down the music a bit for future guests.

Absolute paradise and complete luxury. Me and my partner arrived at the El Nido van terminal and we waited a while before our private driver collected us for the 40+ minute journey. As soon as we arrived at the resort we were greeted warmly by the staff. They were absolute professionals, I couldn't believe how accomodating the staff were from start to finish. The room layout is beautiful, the bed is extremely comfy and the large Samsung smart TV was great. The restaurant had delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner services. The garlic buttered shrimp are to die for. Location is directly on Nacpan beach. A few other restaurants and beach bars nearby. A few minutes walk and there are some local sari-sari stores, clothes shops and pharmacies.

The shower pressure was a bit slow, that's all.

Can't use the beach in front of the hotel without getting run down by noisy ATV / quad bikes.... very disappointing. Sitting by the pool could be relaxing if it weren't for the ATV's racing up and down the beach ALL day!

I don’t have anything that I didn’t like about this resort! The rooms were very beautiful, the beach super nice, the food amazing and the people there were the kindest, nicest and helpful I have met. I truly recommend!

It’s a luxurious property on a beautiful large beach. Prices are high, when compared to what Philippines people are making. Unfortunately, high enough for a middle class American family. It made it difficult to leave tips, despite the friendliness of the staff, as we didn’t budget accordingly.

The road to get there is quite an adventure, with puddles, and local villages that allows you to understand how people really live. Once you arrive at the property, it’s like you enter a different world. We loved the rooms, the restaurant, the view, the quiet location, the service, the views ( a piece of paradise).

The room and the whole facility are very nice. You have direct access to the beautiful Nacpan beach. The staff, especially the waiters, are exceptional and very kind. The food is also very good. We were there in July so the weather wasn't perfect, but it was an absolute pleasure to stay at ANGKLA and relax. For activities I recommend taking the popular tour A for island hopping.

The lights in the bathroom area in the room always go on when you walk in, which is unpleasant if you wake up at night to use the bathroom. The public bathrooms near the pool were a bit dirty. But these are just some small details. The stay was exceptional.

The warm welcome, the attention to detail in the room, we were given complementary drinks and snacks. There's never a time when your needs are not thought of in order for you to have the perfect stay! The entire staff was extremely efficient and approachable.The food is beyond exceptional! Every dish came out hot and made with fresh ingredients, we ate most of the menu! We felt at home and we were very sad to leave!

It's gets busy during lunch as the resort is open to the public but nevertheless we were still taken care of.
