The property is breathtaking. Beautiful, clean and aesthetic. The rooms are pristine clean and super spacious breakfast is delicious and brought every morning to your own terrace. We’ve also ordered dinner one night and it was wonderful. Best meal we had at Port Barton. The staff couldn’t be nicer and they help you with transportation and tour hiring at not extra charge. There cats and dogs that are well take care for. I Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We spend 5 days at Parrots and are sad to leave this beautiful oasis.

It’s a little piece of paradise in the village of Port Barton. The staff are so efficient and nice I can’t praise them enough. We loved the vibe of the place. The pool is so nice, the patio on the second floor. So chill and relaxed. Breakfasts are served on the patio in your room and they were absolutely delicious . Well done!

There is a dog that barks a lot. They leave earplugs for you in the room and it’s for a reason. The dog in combination with roosters in the morning makes sleeping in quite difficult. Plus our shower downstairs didn’t have hot water for three days and they were not able to fix it …

The hotel is a little bit hidden. It has a pool. If you have one of the upper rooms, then you can enjoy some privacy on the balcony. Breakfast was good and served on the balcony.

The upper rooms are equipped poorly: no fridge, not even a glas. You have to go first on the terrace of the people living below you, then you can enter the stairs to the upper room. Quite noisy starting from 3 AM because of many cocks around. Except the ladies at the reception, the staff was not so friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Parrots. It was the beggining of our Philippines trip and it couldn’t be better. Even the room was small, we really enjoyed breakfast at the terrace and great pool area! :) There are only a few rooms, so the environment of the hotel is really quiet and calm. The staff of the hotel is also really sweet, always smiling and very helpful with everything. Thank you! :)

Maybe just a little bit more space to place our clothes will be fine. And yes, the roosters - but you can get used to them. :)

It is a little slice of paradise in Port Barton and felt like home after staying for 3 nights. The people were the kindest and most helpful during our stay, booking our boat trip, transfer to the next location etc. We had our breakfast brought to our little dining room table area and each two rooms get their own kitchen/ dining area. There was the most adorable puppy there too during our stay! The bedrooms were so clean, modern and everything you needed to feel at home. The pool area was so clean and gardens well looked after. We will miss you!

• small trash cans in room and common areas • designated room was small, with bed only; no kitchen or any appliances • little food choices in Port Barton area and Parrots doesn't serve food as well, best to bring some ingredients from the city so you could cook for yourself

Loved the breakfast especially the Oatmeal with bananas and peanut butter. The pancakes were also very good. Would have like 2 chairs out on the deck area where we ate breakfast daily, and possibly a chair in the room. Pool was delightful and clean.

Bed was a little harder than we are used to, and one side being against the wall made harder it to get up for the person sleeping there to get out during the night to use the bathroom. Getting woken each morning by the roosters in the area was something we never experienced

As we are not big fans for typical large holiday resorts, Parrots was exactly the place where we were hoping to stay. It’s very private, quite, but at the same time in walking distance from beach, restaurants and other attractions. We loved the minimalistic, aesthetic design of the place where you could really feel being close to the nature. And we would give 10 stars to the stuff who works there. These people made us feel very special and welcomed! We spent unforgettable 4 nights at Parrots and would be happy to someday return there again.

We loved this boutique hotel and stayed for 5 nights. The staff are so welcoming and kind and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. It is located 5 minutes walk from the beach, which is perfect. The large balcony/outdoor area outside of the room is a massive bonus. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The room is spotless and was cleaned daily. The shower is hot with good water pressure. We especially liked how breakfast was served to the balcony every morning. It was such a nice treat! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The pool area was always clean and tranquil. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Port Barton!

the garden concept is well maintained with sparkling pool as the center. The unit itself is very bright and airy with a Greek island Santorini feel because of the white paint and rounded corners but also not too “Greek” because this is Philippines after all. I had a ground floor unit and the terrace was my favorite spot. Even with rain, it remained dry and airy. perfect for reading or contemplation. It was private and also still connected visually to the common kitchen area where the staff cooked breakfast and where you could get some beverages. In this way one still feels connected socially without forcing it.

the water pressure for the rain shower in Macaw 1 is weak. The water was warm but not hot.
