Well priced breakfast, lots of fruit available. Very quick to order and receive the food. Hostel was incredibly clean. Shuttle service was very convenient. Staff were very helpful when I asked how to get the bus back to Cebu City. Dorms were well air-conditioned and although small were still very private and comfy. Bedside locker was massive and fit all my things although my bag went in the big locker outside. Very quiet and relaxing.
One staff member tried to convince me I needed a private car although I later found out it was easy to get the bus. Tours through the hostel were more expensive than those we found on offer in the town.

The staff were amazing! Jeleen and Carl were so kind and helpful throughout the whole stay. The property was clean and comfortable, with a nice shared kitchen and good water pressure in the showers. The room was pretty cramped, but had strong AC and there was lots of open space to chill outside. The beds had lots of space and good privacy curtains.
It was not a social hostel at all. It would be nice if there were events or other things to encourage guests to socialize, since it was pretty lonely as a solo traveler here. Also, as mentioned, the 6 bed dorm was pretty cramped. There wasn’t anywhere in the room to put bags, so they had to be kept in lockers outside.

Everything was incredible. Though we aren’t usually the biggest hostel people this place was so highly rated and affordable for the area that we went for it and i’m so glad we did. There were so many great perks like the free shuttle every hour to the beach, the amazing restobar with amazing breakfast and dinner and the complimentary beach towels and water. The beds were soooo comfy and soft. Above all the best part was the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make sure their guests are having a good time, You can easily message the hostel on Whatsapp for any questions and they are super quick to respond and always with a smile. Thank you so so much!

Like other reviewers mentioned, the place truly was so clean! The bathrooms actually smelled nice, if anything. A nice little bonus was the spin dryer and clothing lines, along with the two dogs roaming the property. The staff were always so friendly and nice. I got stung by jellyfish and went up to the front desk to ask them for help, and before I could even get a word out the woman at the front desk noticed the sting and immediately came to help me! The French bakery across the street and bagel shop right next door were also definite perks. Overall, it was a nice quiet place to stay!
It is a bit far from the beach, maybe a 15-20 minute walk. I personally don't mind the walk, and they have a free shuttle that leaves often to take you to the beach and back. It's also not a party hostel and was a bit quiet in the social aspect, but I was still able to make a couple friends with the people in my room. Also, the shared room I was staying in was quite small, but I didn't find this to be an issue. Our bags were kept outside in a locker, which was actually nicer because you wouldn't wake people up to get anything.

The Hostel Nicely designed hostel with a great layout. Rooftop seating and restaurant are quite nice. Dorm rooms are small, but functional. Large lockers outside the room with a small built-in locker inside your bunk for added storage (lock and key provided). Everything is nearly new, clean and in good condition. Air conditioner works well and showers provided strong water pressure and warm water. The Stay The beds were very comfortable and the hostel is relatively quiet. Location is good and about a 10-minute walk from the beach, bars, restaurants and diving/snorkeling activities. French bakery across the street is excellent. You also have the option to book tour packages directly through the hostel. They have a few dogs on the grounds that are friendly and harmless. The Service The staff is very kind and helpful. They were always available to provide support and facilitate transfers and tours as needed. They even provide a free shuttle to the town centre multiple times a day (schedule is posted at the main entrance).
The staff assigned a family of 5 to share a 6-bed dorm with me which included small children. They were incredibly noisy and kept me up late every night during the length of their stay. I would suggest practicing more mindfulness when assigning underage children to shared spaces. Not a huge deal and I would still recommend this hostel.

In one word, excellent!!! Very clean and well maintained facilities! The staff was very welcoming and helpful at all times! Breakfast was included in our room booking and it was well prepared and adequate (if not, there is a very good french café just opposite the hostel). Drinkable water was available. It is located a 15-min walk from bustling Moalboal center, which was much preferable in our case. The hostel has a free shuttle bus to/from center, but they can also arrange a tricycle to pick you up. The security guard and the monitoring of the common areas also made us feel safer. Thank you guys! ✨🙏🏼

Best hostel in Moalboal by a mile. Extremely clean, great social spaces (rooftop chill area, communal area for kitchen) Breakfast was included because we got the private room - really delicious food The staff were exceptional - so kind and bending over backwards to make sure we had a great stay Felt new Free shuttle (5 min) Much better value than the other hostels
Nothing, but it’s a bit further out than the other hostels. It’s only a 15 min walk from the main restaurants but it’s definitely worth it for the cleanliness, newness of the hostel and staff

The place is squeaky clean and super comfy. really liked that.
The place is a bit far from the main village and the transport they provide is every hour. I never managed to sinq with their schedule and I always walked. The biggest downside for me was that the hostel was not socia at all, even though they have super nice hangout area. When it’s fully booked you expect to at least meet some people and have a nice time, but it was not the case. I think it would be a good idea for the hostel to organize some activities like family dinners or quizz nights, since they have all the facilities to do so.

Pig Dive hostel was extremely clean, as how it is described. I was impressed with the facilities and the amenities given. The shuttle to the beach and town is a very nice touch. The hostel was also able to arrange activities a day before, which made things very easy. There is a superb French bakery right across the street, which is perfect for breakfast or when you feel peckish. All in all, a very good experience!!
The pillows were a bit too thin for my liking. Other than that, everything was perfect

Really clean and beautiful place. The plants in the garden look amazing! The showers and toilets are clean. The common area is also really nice with a kitchen you can use. Overall a really good stay.
It’s small things but I do have to mention it. There are no toilet brushes so the toilets are not always completely clean… If you want to rent a scooter they bring you to a place they work together with. This place demands you leave your passport or it’s not possible to rent a scooter. Even money as a deposit they would not accept. Since it’s a terrible idea to give your passport to someone I would suggest working with another scooter rental.
