Quo Vadis is a lovely small resort located towards the end of the Panagsama beach strip. Bonus is the pool and you also have access to the ocean at the front of the resort down a few steps. It should be noted that it’s best to swim in the ocean at high tide.
There were some massive cockroaches in our room - this wasn’t a reflection of the place being dirty but more the fact that there were holes where they could pop in.

The best advantage of this resort is that it is near to the sardine run site, which is approximately 50 meters away from the beach to which a 5-minute walk from the resort. To fully enjoy the sardine run, scuba diving is preferred over snorkeling as sardines run at 12-15 meters deep underwater. This resort is also a PADI five-star dive center and I saw students were practicing skills in the swimming pool during my stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. They help me to print a document which I need badly. The restaurant is also good at providing excellent breakfast and dinner. I had one dinner there and went to Ven’z Kitchen in town at the other night for dinner. The resort also provides private transportation services to all major destinations in Cebu, for example the Mactan-Cebu international airport. I appreciate this service as it greatly saves my time on the road.
The only thing I complain about is the mattress and pillow, the material of which is something like sponge. This makes me feel uncomfortable and hot when lying in bed.

Fantastic location, big rooms (we had a superior but others with us were in sea view rooms and they were also a good size). Onsite dive shop was really good. We did snorkelling trips with them a few times. Far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to walk or catch a tricycle to. House keeper was very good.
- Air con was really noisy. Take ear plugs and/or NC headphones. - Shower pressure very weak though this may be location related. - took a long time to receive drinks when ordering at pool.

We booked this place on the day and the staff/hotel were very accommodating. The location was excellent, it had amazing seafront views of the sunset, and was just a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants while still being in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the noisy bars. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely especially the diving centre manager John. We didn't actually do any diving, but John was unbelievably helpful, patient and generous with his time. As a Brit that moved to the Philippines several years ago, he understood the challenges foreigners face and really helped us out.
The breakfast options were not amazing, but for the price, it was more than adequate. There were some noisy dogs nearby that would bark a lot in the mornings and evenings, but this is fairly typical in the Philippines and not something the hotel has any control over, just thought it would be worth mentioning.

Nice dive resort on the coast. The property has a pool and a full service dive shop. There is snorkeling out front of the resort. There are no fish at all. You do see some turtles and that is nice. The sardine run is happening in very silty murky water so you won't get any good pictures. Overall the purpose for going there is a disappointment. The room is nice. Our premier room is directly overlooking the sea. The bed was comfortable. There is a ceiling fan and the AC is good. They have a restaurant but we never ate there. We left a day early. Just not enough to do.
The pillows were too thick. I used my cloths as a pillow

Quo Vadis is an excellent location for divers. There is a dive concern in the hotel which is very well run, has excellent hire equipment and the staff are great too. The hotel has a lovely restaurant with views over the sea, the food is good and breakfast plentiful. The staff there are really friendly too. There is a swimming pool with a small swim up bar. The location is great and gives access to many different places to eat.

Location is great, right on the water and not a far walk into town. Staff were very friendly and loved the attached five shop, a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.
House keeping would change the sheet you sleep under everyday (great) but they didn’t change the (dirty) floor matt in the bathroom atall. sometimes we got fresh towels other times not didn’t seem to matter where you left them. Soft drinks are double what you pay in town which is quite a markup but still affordable

This hotel was amazing! Amazing value, amazing staff. ME and my sister (24 & 27) stopped 2 nights here on our traveling. They upgraded our room to two twin beds at no extra cost. They helped organise our whale sharks snorkel for a fraction of the price online! (Highly recommend) The hotel let you have breakfast at any point in the day! (Great when you are up at 430am for snorkeling and don't come back till the afternoon) the breakfast was high quality (great bacon!!!!) I also highly recommend the beef brocoli one of the best meals I have had in the Philippines! All the staff were extremely helpful! Rooms were cleaned and Aircon & the shower was powerful! I would highly recommend 👌
The menu did run out quickly

Had a great stay at Quo Vadis - good breakfast (option of continental, sweet or Filipino), a short walk to Panagsama town centre and a great dive shop. We completed our Advanced Open Water here and got to see the sardines and lots of turtles and sea life. The course also came with free lunch which is a good perk.
It is further away from Moalboal town centre but easily accessible by tricycle or motorbike - well worth it for the ocean access and peace!

Very helpful and engaging staff, especially at the restaurant. The restaurant has a very lovely sea view so, it was very refreshing to eat breakfast at the restaurant. The hotel food is also delicious. Please try the Mango shake! There is also an ATM machine 2 minutes walk from the hotel’s Reception which was very handy. The machine does charge 250PHP per transaction though for international cards. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Panagsama beach, where you can do sardine run and turtle watching.
Although hotel food is delicious, there is very limited options for vegetarians, especially on the breakfast menu. Since the hotel is in the seafront you’ll have to grab a tuktuk or Habbal Habbal to get around the island and to/from the Moalboal bus stop to/from the hotel.
