This is a small adorable property a block or so from the entrance point to the sardine run. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. There's a charming outdoor dining area close by the pool, which is beautifully landscaped. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Meals and cocktails at the restaurant were tasty, but if you need some variety, there is another restaurant about a block away. For the sardines, walk down to the main road and turn right. Across the street from the Strandhaus, there are some snorkel guides (Amazing Snorkel) who will swim with you to see the sardines for a reasonable price. The guides are worth it-- they dive down to direct the sardines towards you and will help you get great photos.

Everything was perfect. Wish we'd had another day to stay.

Absolutely perfect location, it is a very short walk to the most incredible snorkelling we did it ourselves with no guide and saw soo many different species of fish and turtles, pool was quiet, close to all the restaurants.

The pillows were very hard so it was difficult to sleep on, the place only takes cash and although they tell you its a short walk to the atm which it is, a lot of the atms run out of cash on the island so come prepared with lots of cash beforehand.

My family and I spent 5 days at this very lovely hotel. It is tucked away from the busy Panagsama area yet, it is only a 10-minute walk into the buzzling streets. One can always eat at the hotel restaurant or try various restaurants in Panagsama. The hotel is very accessible to the beach area where we swam with turtles. Secret Paradise has lived up to its name! It was peaceful and a restful place with such a homey feel. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful especially accommodating accessibility needs of a family member. They have their own parking area which makes it easy to load and unload and it is relaxing to get in and out of the hotel if you have a vehicle. This is unlike the hotels in the middle of town, as we have observed, where tricycles, vans, and motorcycles were all over the place, in a very tiny street, which makes it quite manic during peak season. Overall, Secret Paradise is a real gem in Moalboal.

It would even be better if the doors would properly close and lock as they had gaps where mosquitoes came in. It would be great if we had functioning safe as this wasn't addressed during our entire stay. It would also be great if the lot at the back could be cleared and cleaned to keep mosquitoes away.

I wasnt able to make my reservation during the night because my bags were lost at the airport. However, I went to Moalboal in the morning, and when my Canyoneering got cancelled early in the morning the staff at Secret Paradise let me check into my room and at least stay until checkout time. Room was clean and the property looked beautiful. Too bad we weren't able to enjoy the amenities. Its close by to a lot of restaurants and shops. Also close to the beach where you can swim with the Sardines.

There was a typhoon so we couldn't use the amenities. But of course that is not the hotels fault

This hotel is beautiful. It's a hidden paradise, literally! The staff is so friendly and accomodating and it is about a 3 minute walk to the Sardine run area. The pool is beautiful, and the food and drinks were great as well. The only reason I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 is because the beds were super hard. You won't be disappointed with this hotel.

The mattresses on the bed were really hard. Everything else was perfect. Drinks were great...try the Lychee mojito...the food was great. No complaints really.

This hotel is aptly named - it really is a secret paradise! It's perfectly located to be within walking distance to the center of the town while also being a quiet haven that's not in the nitty gritty of everything. The pictures of the rooms really don't do them justice, they are incredibly nice, perfectly cleaned, and everything feels very new. They're also very spacious! The pool was fantastic too, and perhaps the best part of the whole hotel is how accommodating and wonderful the staff are. Do not miss staying here!

Sometimes a few bugs can sneak in the room but this was our fault and not the hotels as we left the door open :). It's a shame there isn't a nice breakfast included in the room but for the price paid and the quality of the hotel I still think it's a really great deal not to be missed!

I had amazing time. First I want to thank the owner a French/Corse gentleman who helped me when I was having strong issues with my credit card blocked. Coming to the hotel, I really loved the design and the interior of the small bungalows. It seems to breath Mediterranean islands influence so it's kind of unique. Beds are comfortable, bathroom shower is huge. AC and wifi perfectly working. The pool is well designed with some seats inside to have drinks and loungers to chill. Food is also good. I really liked everything. You don't have Seaview but who cares. It's a small gem hidden but you feel a cozy atmosphere. Price is also very competitive.

Service at restaurant can be improved, sometimes you wait too long even if you have 2 guests ahead of you. OK I'm on holiday but if you dive you have strict pickup times to follow. Anyway, it's a minor issue easy to solve.

Had a good sized pool and a good restaurant in the property. Netflix in the room, strong wifi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and the porch in front of the villas were quite nice. Landscaping provided privacy to the rooms.

It's difficult to get to and not an easy walk to get to the main commercial area of moalboal. Food in the resto was also pricey considering the serving sice. Opt for the sushi rolls if you're looking for value for money. Hot water in the showers also quite inconsistent.

The staff were amazing. I've asked them millions of questions and they're always happy to help and with a smile. They've got tour operator contacts and laundry contacts. The room itself was really spacious and the toilet and bathroom were separate from each other. The plants they've planted around the pool and rooms are so pretty.

The bed and pillows could be comfier and bigger. The bed was a bit on the firmer side. Something about the pool made our swim suits go green/weird colour. Location was good and bad. Good cause it was quiet and tucked up on a corner, bad cause you need to walk 6 mins to go to the town centre for food and other things.

Great little escape. Facilities were wonderful and staff were very nice. The little huts and pool were so good to have a it was not too far from the main town. Close to the beach as well which was nice. Restaurant was good to have especially if you didn’t want to go into town.

Shower was not so great - but I think that is the pressure on this island. Also hard to find. Need a sign on main road so guests can find it easier.
