Breakfast was nothing special and they charge extra for silly things which seems to happen alot in the Philippines (nickel n diming) Location was aaay from the scene which wasn’t a problem as we wanted to relax and it was good for that..!!

The silly nickel & diming for little things should not happen but does too often and thus leaves a bad taste so I repeat~stop squeezing every penny from the customers and give instead of take then they will write better reviews and your business will prosper and grow with ease…

The place are very clean and neat, great friendly staff.

The dinner and breakfast was mediocre. The chef there did not use hat or hairnet, and no cloths for food making.

Me and my family stayed for 3 days and it was better than expected. Walking distance to the plaza, cathedral, market, and malls. The gem in this place are their amazing staffs -very accommodating and professional, special thanks to Sherwin, he is truly outstanding, also thanks to Mia and Fe Angelie of front desk, Jessalyn, Johnavy,Marven, Michelle,Jossene of housekeeping.The breakfast is good and they have ala carte options too. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kudos to the kitchen staff Mark and Mark Daryll. Highly recommended and will certainly be back.

Great value, so affordable specially when you are traveling for so long & want to spend a good few days in Bohol. We stayed 5 nights! Super clean & room service available every day! Great breakfast!

Cannot complain due to the low price :) Maybe if the place is looking at a future development, would be great to build in a pool. We missed it when we were there and it changes your experience after a long day of road trip to get back to your hotel for a swim! Obviously offering when a pool built on, the night fare could be a increased but would be still reasonable!

-The hotel was clean, good wifi and close to a couple of restaurants at walking distance - room was spacious and bathroom quite modern -From the ferry port it’s 1 minutes tricycle drive. - they rent scooters from a provider for 450 php/24 hrs - Storage room for luggage after checkout Overall good value for the money

- dogs barking all night long (bring earplugs) - I had to pay 20 php extra to have oatmeal fro breakfast, which I find quite ridiculous - no bed sheet provided to cover up but a little blanket instead - no kettle in the room that would be appreciated - not idea for solo traveler as you won’t socialize

The hotel is located within walking distance of the center of Tagbilaran city. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and we're able to organise a day tour for me and suggest places to go. The restaurant on the ground floor has excellent food. As for the room, it was superb. Very comfortable and clean, spacious, and I had a balcony with a great view.

I have nothing negative to say about my own experiences, but the accommodation is not wheelchair accessible. The ground floor foyer and restaurant has a ramp for entering but the rooms are upstairs with no elevator. A staff member carried my luggage upstairs for me, so they will assist guests as much as they can.

A great place to spend a few days. The staff was super polite and helpful (scooter rental, accomodating a later checkout, a print out ...). The place was sparkling clean. They even had hair dryers in the room (which seems to be an exception in the Philippines)!

- The breakfast portions are quite small (it's á la carte, and no possibility for a top up) - There wasn't any warm water in the evenings for us. Luke warm would do given that it's always hot, but we didn't even have that. But with temperatures in the 30s Celsius, you get over it quickly!

Bohol Ecotel is very well located, less than 10 mn by walk to go to Saint-Joseph Cathedral or downtown. The rooms are spacious, clean, confortable and cheap. The restaurant is also cheap, different breakfasts are available and local meal is delicious. And you can have a drink whenever you want at daytime. I appreciate especially the staff, very kind, smiley and helpfull. I recommand this hotel which is a perfect place to explore the beauties of Bohol Island.

Western standard hotel room, well maintained and absolutely spotless. Whoever is cleaning these rooms is doing an amazing job! Super comfortable bed and pillows. The food in the restaurant was pretty good for the price. Staff were friendly and professional. The location is peaceful and tranquil (by filipino standards!). It's just a few minutes from the city centre. All round, a great place to stay in Tagbilaran.

Clean and new room and property in generał. Very friendly amd helpful staff. Typical filipino breakfast. They organised pickup to the ferry.

The facility is located a bit from the very center, literally 15 minutes on foot, but it is dark at night and the area does not look safe. In addition, the roosters in the neighborhood started crowing at 2 a.m. and did not stop until the morning. If someone is a light sleeper, this may be disturbing
