The hotel is situated directly at the beginning of the Old Town of Gdansk. My room had a window towards the inner yard and was mostly quiet. Breakfast is good and the pricing is affordable. Was my second time at the hotel and I would go there again.
The only negative point was the WiFi in my room. I had a single room left of the elevator and the WiFi signal was mostly very weak and in the evening, I would sit in the hall to edit material for my social media, since there was no or almost no connection in the room (315). Hopefully, the hotel will fix that with a router, but often elevators do make wifi bad or impossible. Nevertheless, it did not influence my stay particularly.

Excellent location on the very edge of old town Gdansk minutes stroll from most tourist points of interest , about a 10 min walk from the main railway station , despite its location very quiet .The hotel is an old world style dark woods heavy furnishings very apt for its setting staff are friendly despite language barriers but they are overcome , the hotel and room are spotless , the cleaners obviously work hard ,breakfast is very varied and filling come hungry .My room overlooked the courtyard /service area despite this I had no noise issues ,the bathroom was good and a great shower , the hotel provided a pedestal fan , there is a smart tv as most programmes are in Polish but you tube can broaden the tv if needed .
My only gripe from an otherwise top rate hotel is the lack of air/con in the rooms the 3 days I was there it was +35c/90 odd degrees the stand fan helped but nothing as goos as A/C , the nights were long and hot truthfully not what I had anticipated , but under less stressful conditions this is a great place and I would happily return .

The hotel is located in the old part of town, very close to most of its highlights. It is not very big and has therefore its own personality. Our room was bright (2 big windows) and confortable. Good mattress. Boiler with tea and coffee available. They offered 2 bottles of water everyday. PThe bathroom must have been just recently refurbished because it looked new and state of the art. Breakfast ok as to savoury while not very rich as to sweet. Coffee from a dispenser. Staff friendly and helpful. They even let us check out late (3 p.m.) when I told them I wasn't feeling well.
The hotel is located on a street where all people walk along when going back home, i.e. very noisy every night with people/tourists yelling and car engines roaring. Loud late at night and very quiet by day! The whole hotel is very dark, which does not mean dire or gloomy but still it was almost impossibile to read in our bedroom. There was only one nighttable so one of us had no place for glasses/mobile/books etc.. No possibility to charge mobiles near the bed. Very old carpets everywhere but we were told they are going to change them soon.

excellent location ! If you come by plane, take bus no 210 from the airport, stop the street behind the hotel ( HUCISKO stop ), and once you are in the front of the hotel you are right at the beginning of Old Town, cobble streets, pedestrian zone, lovely historical buildings, market...close to the train station so you can take day trips ( 15 min on the train to Sopot...)..or take tram no 6 to visit Oliwa park and cathedral...

we absolutely loved the decor of the hotel! so beautiful and gothic and vintage! dark wood, red carpets, low lighting. felt very relaxing. room was lovely and big, nice mini bar with 2x mini vodka, 2x btls beer, 2x orange juice, 2x cans coke and 2x btls of water. whatever you used got replaced daily. we had breakfast included, don’t expect English breakfast, you’re in Poland. lovely bacon, sausages, mushrooms and scrambled egg. bread for toasting or you could have the cold spread of meats etc.. and cereal. we had a double shower in our room and toiletries and bathrobes. nice touch if you want a bit of pampering and it doesn’t cost the earth! hotel is in a perfect location for bars, restaurants, shops. only 20 mins taxi ride from airport!
I think the mini bar should have more miniatures included personally. two mini vodkas and two lagers isn’t really enough and a bit misleading advertising ‘free’ minibar. I would have expected more alcohol.

The hotel was welcoming and extremely well situated in old town Gdansk. All the main attractions were within easy walking distance. Our deluxe room was spacious with all the facilities we needed with the bonus of complementary extras. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a wide choice. This was a hotel which prided itself on good old fashioned service.
There was street noise late at night - it didn’t particularly disturb us but might others.

Location: very, very good. 8 mins walk to RR station 4 mins to trams and right in the middle of great restaurants. Room: decent size, warm and comfortable. WiFi was good, TV could have done with greater selection of multilingual channels. Happily brought my tablet.
Breakfast was expensive. On the one day I ate there, the day was cold - so was the room and so were the plates. That meant the hot food froze. Not a fan of cold meats under those circumstances.

Staff were excellent from check in to check out. We had a late flight and were allowed late check out no problem. Our rooms (genuis upgrade) were lovely and spotless with free daily resticked minibar overlooking a lively street.. Rooms look dated but in an immaculate way as if they have just been refurbished.
No aircon in room but big windows that can open all the way and decent tower fans provided.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, the room was very nice-- clean and "classic" in the sense of wooden wardrobe and warm tones-- and the location was perfect being on the edge of the old town. The Gdansk old town is thus an easy walk from the hotel, and yet the trains, trams, bike routes, etc. to other parts of the city were also nearby.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Location is just perfect, at one time close to the busiest areas (tourist spots, markets etc) and the railway station. If you're light on luggage you can certainly walk your way. It is also close to the airport bus stop.
My room had no fridge and no air conditioning. Fortunately, it was not necessary, but the fan they provide is no near enough for a proper hot Summer day. Beware of it, because with the amount of sunshine the room gets, there is no solution possible.
