The breakfast is just excellent. If they also would have had real fresh orange juice i would have gave it a top 5 rating. Location wise its perfect, close to everything. in the summer you can also have the breakfast outdoors right to the waterfront. They have one building were the reception is, that part has spacious rooms but pretty poor standard. On the other building they have very modern rooms (deluxe) but then on the other hand they are smaller. They have good parking access.

The reception is really small, dark and outdated (gives a bad first impression). Take away the big sofas to start with. See above for rooms. Do a high pressure cleaning on the outside walls, those two things it is such an easy way to give a much better impression. Get the personnel some kind of hotel clothing, some kid just showed up and asked if we needed something! It wasn't clear if she worked there or not? The personnel is ok but really without any extra. It seems like they don't really care. They have some kind of outdoor furniture chaos storage (which is transparent) that also gives a bad expressions. This could be a very good hotel if somebody just put their mind (and some money) to it.

Fantastic, quiet location by the river, easy to walk to all parts of the old town. Really interesting city with great museums ( some are free on different days) like WW2 and Solidarity museum.Lots of places to eat and drink nearby on both sides of the river. The staff were helpful and friendly, allowed us to leave the case after check out and assisted by calling a taxi too. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with some daily variation. Good sized comfortable rooms with lovely large modern bathroom.

The sheet on our kingsize bed was a bit small so kept rolling off but we managed! It wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting for some people if they have mobility issues that some bedrooms are in the building opposite , not attached to main building/ reception. Rooms were very spacious with king sized bed and sofa also in the room. The ensuite bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was a buffet style with both hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks, everything was fresh and well prepared. This hotel also has an Asian Fusion Restaurant which had an excellent menu of delicious food made to order and at a very reasonable price. Location was on the riverside in the Old Town and everything was within easy walking distance from the hotel.

I did not find anything to my dislike, the hotel and staff were excellent, the location was spot on and the old town was very clean with no litter anywhere

This was a beautiful hotel. I love the old style brickwork. It was very central in Gdansk and easy to get to the city and across the river. The view from the room of the river was nice too. The breakfast was nice too. I loved the bottles of water in our room. I would have liked a water dispenser on our floor too for more water/drinks. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The lifts were out of order when I was there. My room was on the third floor so that was three flights of stairs to walk and climb every day. That was the only issue but I liked my stay otherwise.

ALL of the staff were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. The Location is perfect, close to old town, museums, resturaunts, everything you might need. Breakfast was excellent and had a large variety to choose from.

The only thing i was dissappointed with was that it was not soundproof as they claim on their profile. I could clearly hear what guests in rooms next to me were doing.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. We booked 2 nights, 1 double room for our first visit in Gdańsk also it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Something was leaking in the bathroom so we were upgraded to a nice apartment. We had a river view and it was nice seeing 'Black pearl' or 'Lion' take off. Our bed was really comfortable. Room clean, basic standard with iron and hairdryer. Really enjoyed our stay 😄

A cosy olde fashioned small hotel with a cooperative staff. The room size is small and the facilities are adequate. The breakfast spread was very good. The location proved inconvenient as the ferry crossing to the old town was suspended and the swing bridge operated only for 30 mins every hour. All eateries and touristy places were across the water channel. This inconvenience would end once the ferry service is restored.

Location and room size.

Great location, friendly stuff, very good breakfast

Limited time for check in (until 10pm and not possible to do after) . I was driving to the hotel and I needed to think about arriving time all the way. It would be great if it’s possible to have self check in or late check in.

Hotel is located in the center of the city, where everything is nearby. Many restaurants, close to the river, nice view. We were placed in a new building because old one was renovating.

Spiderweb in the corners, uncomfortable pillows (too thin), and not that soundproofing as it was mentioned. We could hear people dialogues and music while in the bathroom.

Excellent location, the old town is within walking distance but it's on the quiet island away from any noise. Our room was in the second building (2 min walk) , very clean and modern, with a kettle and safe. Very friendly staff and good breakfast (fresh pastry). Authentic Asian food on site (also as a room service).

There's no aircon in the room, we had a fan provided which helped
