Direct bus from Katowice Central station stops right next to the hotel. Nice, very clean room, just like in the photos. Quiet district, helpful staff. Good coffee in the cafe downstairs. I needed to go to the airport early morning, so Szafir was a good choice to feel safe with time (for those who are interested - a taxi ride to the airport takes about 15 min, and the price was ~ 33 ZL).

Only one little thing - I was missing shampoo in the bathroom.

It smelled so nice everywhere, it felt really clean too. We arrived late after reception closed but the instructions we were given to access to hotel and room were spot on and it was very easy to do. We were very happy with the space and facilities in the room, only stayed for one night to catch a flight the next day but was very happy with the stay.

The only slight thing was the lack of a lift (or perhaps i just couldn’t find it). The rooms are on the second floor which is perfectly fine but we had 3 bags and 2 smalls kids with us so it would have been handy (we managed though😊).

Good location: close to the airport (even bus stop to the airport in front of the hotel - we traveled by car), otherwise not much going on there as it is a small town, 20min away from Katowice center. Rooms were very clean and spacious, free parking belonging to the hotel, easy self-check in and check out. Great service at the bar that is located below the hotel, the bar crew was really nice and gave us food even if it was quite late - pierogis are really tasty, broad choice on breakfast, fair prices.

Hotel rooms are located on the second floor without an elevator - in case you have heavy luggage or are disabled

All organized remotely, we checked in late after coming from Energylandia. Also we checked out early to get to our flight, so all communication was good, we haven't met any staff in person. The rooms were clean and ready for us, parking is just by the building. It was about 15 minutes drive back to the airport. Recommended!!!

Maybe the only thing to consider is, there is no elevator and our room was on the second floor. It was a bit inconvenient, to take a big suitcase up to the room and back to the car.

Two main reasons to come to exactly this hotel are staff and Café. I had to leave to the airport at 4 a.m. and did not have local currency - only cards. This was not their duty, but they did care, they found a taxi service which takes credit cards (not that common thing in Poland), booked a ride for me for a very reasonable price. Café is awesome - the salad with beetroot and cheese is just amazing there, the burgers are delicious. Rooms are good - nice, cosy, clean, but after such a delicious lunch rooms are "simply" good, while Café is "awesome". If you are still thinking where to stay not far from Katowice Airport or in this area - just stay here, it is 101% worth it.

Building and rooms were well maintained and everything worked well Receptionist/waiter in the cafe/reception was very attentive and helpful

We arrived around midnight with 2 small kids after a long trip. When picking up the keys, other guests took by mistake our room's key. This should've been prevented from happening, it really made our arrival difficult to manage with the kids tired (we were tired too)

The rooms were perfect for a short stay, very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. Complimentary water and tea were available in the rooms. Communication was a tiny bit difficult due to the low English level, but manageable. Even so the staff was respectful and trying their best and that's admirable!

The building doesn't have a normal "hotel layout" and it might be a bit difficult to figure out where is the reception for example (which is in the coffee shop on the ground floor), maybe some English/ international signs on the staircase or at the entrance might be useful. :)

Excellent location - next to M11 bus stop direct from the airport Katowice. Very helpful and nice stuff and very good breakfast. There is fantastic Caffè at the reception desk, which swerves delicious cakes and drinks, as well as lunchboxes straight to your room. Nearby is a beautiful lake surrounded by forest - great place for walks.

Nice and modern hotel. Everything is clean. Friendly staff. 13 minutes drive to Katowice airport. Have a free private parking and kids playground. Fresh food in cafe. Can login from tv to your Netflix account

Couldn’t figure out how is air conditioner working. Instead of cold mode it were heating up the room. Doesn’t have slippers and toiletries

We really liked that the hotel was really close to the airport, approximately 15 min by car and it is a good fit if you are in Katowice for a layover. To go to the city center took us 25 minutes using Bolt which we were really happy that was working there. You could tell that the hotel was brand new and everything in the room was new as well. Slept really nice as the bed was very comfortable. Also want to mention that we had there the best tomato soup we have ever had before😁😁

It is not something that we did not like however wanted to point out that even though the staff didn’t know English very well they were really helpful and nice to us 🙏
