the area is great and the communal area is very well kept. Lots of places nearby to eat plus marina is only 2 min drive or 10 min walk . going to old town is cheap via uber. Beach is a walking distance. Will definitely return to this area

the housekeeping team needs to clean better the fridge,windows, washing machine tray and round the bath need to be cleaned as they have mould. The shower tray needs updating as it has patched, which makes it look dirty .

Ponta grande is set at the top of a hill about 15minute walk from albuferia marina. It was a great location for lots of little beaches in the area The complex was clean and gardens very well maintained and everything seemed in good order.There were several restaurants nearby which were superb and for €4 you can get an Uber into Albufeira old town where the choice of restaurants is exceptional. The weather early November was mid 20s and very pleasant but did dip in the evenings and get dark quite early. For a couples getaway it was great and high season I should imagine it’s a hit with families and people of all ages. The pool was amazing and I swam several times and usually had the pool to myself ( a bit fresh when you first got in but after a few lengths it was lovely)

There was apparently free WiFi in the reception which I felt was a shame as most places offer free WiFi everywhere but it wasn’t a problem as we didn’t need to use gadgets anyway but with teens I would imagine it’s a nightmare. We also booked as it said a supermarket and restaurant on site but both were closed the day before we arrived and the duration of our stay. Again not a problem but could inconvenience less able bodied people.

We stayed in house 59 and it was very clean and quiet. We travelled by taxi. The team in the restaurant are great along with the reception team. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was excellent value for money. It's only a 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a lovely child-friendly restaurant a 5 minute walk away called 'Margem'. We decided to stay on in Ponte Grande for a few more days as it was such a relaxing experience with a 5 year old.

Perhaps leave some laundry detergent and a few beach towels for guests

was told it would be 4 single beds and one double sofa bed but when we arrived it was 1 double 2 singles and I double sofa. what made sleeping arrangements hard as we have 3 young kids. also all plates had chips in them cups handles were all broken only one big cup kettle was broke and iron only worked when it wanted to.

The thing that was good about the location was that it was close to the beach also the resort was pretty close to Albufiera and close to some sourvenir shops.Good value for the money.

What I did not like was that in the night the fuses where tripping off and the kitchen could be slightly better equipped. The swimming pool supposed to be opened at all times and even in the winter.

Great location, clean and spacious. Close enough to everything we needed but far enough away to be quiet and private. Our villa overlooked the pool from the front and had a spacious sun terrace around the back. Fantastic mini market on site selling fresh pastries for breakfast.

My Husband found the bed uncomfortable/hard but the rest of us were fine.

Just got back from a week's stay at Ponta Grande and had a lovely time. The villas were clean and spacious, and had a terrace on the ground floor rather than a balcony, which was good with a toddler. All the staff were really friendly. There was a shallow splash pool next to the main pool which our toddler could use safely and we were a 10 min walk to the beach (with lifeguards and cafe).

we had stayed in one of these before so knew what they were like there is lots of room and having 2 toilets is a hod send

The property could do with a tidy up the arms on the sofas are very worn, the cushions were a bit smelly as they could do with a wash

great location and amenities of the property.. the villa need more maintenance ... the social areas as the location was fabolous highly recomended and will return

the villa need more maintenace as we well as the property in general have to stated the hrs of operation to avoid arrive and no person available at the front desk also a box to drop the keys will be a great suggestion

Great value for money,very big,comphy and private villas with all u need for every day living for family ,close to beautiful beaches,restaurants,Mini market,lovely pool,handy laundry facility,great for family

We didnt have a hair dryer,it will be very handy to have one in the room.
