I wish there was a larger area in the hotel for walking the facilities were small I was expecting large places to sit toward the ocean the location is good viewing the ocean but you need a car to reach all the services for grocery or restaurants they just have one restaurant the variety of breakfast dishes was average

Beautiful facilities and location, the sunset views from the hotel were amazing. It has a really relaxed yet luxurious feel as well as the staff being really friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with the most comfortable and enormous bed. The breakfast provided had so many options too. Also had the most relaxing massage at the spa on site, highly recommend! 10-15 minute drive from Ericeira and beaches.

We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and service was extremely slow which was disappointing as the food was great.

Everything is brand new and stylish. Top materials are used.

Light concept in the restaurant is not matching the rest of the facilities. Pricing concept. I get that it is a 5 star hotel but 6€ for a cappuccino according to the unexperienced baristas is a little bit overpriced in my opinion. Also the service needs to be better as aethos is claiming to offer a first class and new travel experience. For example you really need to ask the waiters at the pool to get the menu and also the dirty dishes of previous guests are not taken away. Therefore you have extraordinary design with dirty dishes standing around. The mattresses are very hard and my girlfriend and I didn’t slept through one night.

The pool, the room, the views were amazing, as well the architecture and design of the hotel. Staff were friendly and generally helpful.

Two things impact me giving a 10. First, the breakfast felt disorganised and a little uncomfortable. Staff seemed stressed and it felt like a hassle to ask for things like cutlery, or salt and pepper. The breakfast staff including chef generally seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Secondly, it’s very isolated and reception are not too helpful when it comes to arranging travel or providing advice on going into town. They booked a restaurant for us and we got an Uber there, but we were not told how difficult it would be to get back at 11pm. We waited over 40 minutes to finally get accepted by an Uber but it wasn’t enjoyable. Would have appreciated advice from reception on this when they made the reservation for us, since the restaurant told us it would be very difficult to get a taxi.

What a beautiful place for a retreat weekend. This boutique hotel is located out of town, on a beautiful cliff next to the ocean, the first thing you feel when you feel when you arrive is a pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted at the entrance by the very kind staff, they were all super friendly and gave us recommendations on what to do & where to eat (Esplanada Furnas is a great restaurant that lets you experience the real taste of the see, I highly recommend it.) The rooms are spacious and very well designed, comfortable beds. There’s a pool too, so if it’s a warm day you can always enjoy & refresh yourself swimming. There is plenty of nature to see right outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a place that doesn’t have the loudness of the city, that is surrounded by beautiful nature and that it’s highly designed this is the place for you. I would definitely return.

everything was really great overall, the restaurant lacked a little bit of diversity in it´s menu and the food wasn´t something we really liked, it may be from our perspective.

This hotel is truly something special. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with the warmest welcome. The girls at the desk could not have done more. Inês went out of her way to make everything truly special and perfect. From booking surfing, to yoga, transfers and taxis nothing was too much hassle and I was blown away with the level of service. We had the manager of the hotel even drive us to dinner one night. They really went above and beyond even what you’d expect even in a beautiful hotel of this caliber. The hotel decor is stunning. Very fresh and stylish and the views were truly breathtaking. I can’t even find the words to describe my room. The way that the light came in at different times of the day was like art work. I was lucky enough to try everything from yoga, Pilates, surfing, electric bikes and the in-house massage and everyone they’ve partnered with for these services definitely brings the same genuine care and passion about bringing the best experience they can. I’ve stayed at a lot of nice hotels but there is something truly magical about this place. Heart broken to leave but can’t wait to come back.

Lovely comfortable and quiet rooms and the entire hotel premises are extremely well styled. Pleasant beachy vibe, friendly staff, good breakfast and superb location overlooking the Atlantic. Rooms are finished with high quality materials and style. Opportunity to take 4 e-bikes at no charge was a real nice option (that we took :-).

The restaurant did not overwhelm us. Small portions and fairly expensive for that matter. We did not like getting the tip included upfront and needing to tickbos 'NO' we did not want that, made us feel uncomfortable. We will provide a tip (and decided the height) rather ourselves. The music at the pool was way too loud at times. It's not a beach club.

The location is unbelievable if you are looking to stay well out of town but with absolutely awe inspiring landscapes, coastal line, and views. Ericeira is within easy reach 6-7 minutes through picturesque and well maintained road.

Our room was over an hour late for check-in and when we finally got the room it was not the type of room that we booked. However, the hotel was able to upgrade us to a better room as a result.

Location was very beautiful, but a little bit remote. Requires a rental car or taxi to get there efficiently. Breakfast was very good, nice options in the menu as well as in the buffet. The property was well maintained and clean, with an amazing view of the ocean. The heated pool and gym were nice touches.

The location is quite remote (which definitely makes it feel extra peaceful and exclusive), so unless you’re only planning to stay at the resort, you should rent a car and go explore the area! It’s worth it for sure.
