THE VILLA ALEGRIA IS PARADISIAC. IF YOU WANT TO RELAX OR CONNECT WITH OTHERS, BOTH ARE POSSIBLE. THE BED IS REALLY CONFORTABLE. THE HOSTS ARE LOVELY AND REALLY LISTENING TO THEIR GUESTS WITH LOTS OF DETAILS AND REACTIVITY. THEY CREATE A REALLY SMART AND BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGN, A REAL PLEASURE FOR THE EYES. WE CAN ENJOY THE SUNSET VIEW ON THE OCEAN FROM THE SWIMMING POOL. BREAKFAST ARE TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS WITH SOME HOMEMAID FRENCH TOUCH RECEIPIES. DELICIOUS ! AMAZING STAY, PURE PLACE, TRUSTFUL PEOPLE. I WISH TO COME BACK AND TO OTHERS TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE AS THE NAME SAYS L'ALEGRIA THAT THE HOSTS OFFER US ! I WOULD HAVE PUT MORE THAN 5 STARS ! I cannot even begin to describe how much joy and wellbeing my stay brought me. Dominique and Bruno are the perfect hosts, so caring, lovely and welcomed me in their house like a friend. The breakfast is fantastic, the room super cozy, everything is very clean and lovely decorated and the view from the terrace is fantastic. The breathtaking beaches (especially Foz do Lizandro) are walking distance, as well as the center of Ericeira. I could’ve not asked for more. Merci beaucoup Dominique et Bruno, vous me manquez déjà!

The most incredible & kindhearted hosts! Cute and thoughtfully designed home with the prettiest interior. Clean rooms. Lovely breakfast - the hosts made sure that I had plenty of vegan breakfast options & allowed me to use the kitchen to make small evening meals. The location was only a 12- minute walk from the nearest beach but all beaches were at a nice walking distance and the walk to each beach was very scenic! Everything about this stay was perfect and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

I’m a bit scared of dogs so felt a bit nervous initially around the dog (who is very cute and harmless). Despite my initial apprehension I would still come back and really highly recommend the place to stay.

Great value for the price, the beautiful room with ocean view and a little balcony, cleanness, the pool to chill, super quiet and comfortable sleep! Really nice breakfast (with a view), the pancakes are amazing!! It’s just a 20min walk or a 3 min drive away to the center. And more importantly, Dominique and Bruno were fantastic and such lovely hosts, I cannot thank them enough for the care and hospitality they gave me when I was there, and how helpful they've been when I needed sth or drive me to the pharmacy. It felt like being home, you have your own space and I could also chat with them if I wanted to. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend everyone and love to come back next time! :)) At the breakfast table I was able to meet other guests and have a nice chat.

Nothing to not like!

I have traveled to many countries and stayed in A LOT of places but hospitality like the one I received in Villa Alegria I have yet to encounter. Bruno and Dominique are the nicest most welcoming hosts I have ever met. They will go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. Their rooms are specious clean and comfortable (great beds), the breakfast is phenomenal, there's plenty of space in and outside of the house (we worked remotely and it was great) and all in all it's a wonderful stay.

‏The only thing I will mention is that it's a bit far from the city center (about 20 min walk) but we had a car and it's less then 5 min driving so it didn't bother us at all.

Nice people , freindly dog and hosts, they saw i was a bit stressed, they helped me unwind! Lovely breakfast . good pancakes . nice coffee . fresh fruit . Good interior and exterior spaces . well maintained . clean and tidy . small desk to write and good view of the sea.

I wasn't sure about the photo of the man in the room. but some people like this, but i'm fussy .

From the moment I entered the B&B, it felt like I was home. I had the warmest welcome in the form of fresh crepes and tips for my stay in Ericeira. Breakfast was great, the room excellent and there's also a pool! If you're staying in Ericeira, Villa Allegria is the place to be.

The most warming welcome at Villa Alegria by lovely people. The accomodation is perfect, clean room and bathroom. A very nice breakfast served at hour of your own choice on a lovely porch by the pool with ocean vieuw. Located at the beach, with few minutes walking distance to the lovely town of Ericeiras or the most beautiful beach in the middle of nature. I can recommend this place to everyone looking for a relaxed stay in a friendly environment with lovely hosts.

One of the best guest houses! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Breakfast was incredible a toast, orange, egg, fruit, granola, yoghurt, coffee…and set me up for the day. The place was spotless with great views! Good sized room with a desk & views. I had a car but it’s also a short walk to town or the beaches. Amazing value!

This accommodation was a find in a great location about 10 minutes to the nearest beach and 15 minutes to the centre. The room was private, spacious and comfortable. Amazing terrace where a great breakfast was served every morning. Dominique and Bruno were great hosts and helped me book some surf lessons. I will be back with my partner
