The location was right in the heart of Chiado, so close to shops, restaurants, even the Tagus. The room we stayed in was larger than our two apartments combined with comfy furnishings, and the delicious, healthy breakfast was delivered to our room every morning like clockwork. I already booked a return trip for the spring. Maria at the front desk was an absolute pleasure as was the gentleman who worked evenings. The breakfast staff was also very polite when serving our cart, respectful of our DND sign some mornings. The property itself is historic and beautiful in so many ways. I felt sometimes as if I'd taken a step back into the 18th/19th century with its design and decor (though there isn't an elevator/lift, the stairs are easy enough for most who are not mobility challenged; and the bathroom is modern). I travel frequently and Dear Lisbon Palace Chiado is at the top of my list for accommodations. We can't wait to come back in the spring.
Leaving to catch our flight back home :)

The location in Chiado was perfect - close to trains, trams, shopping, and nightlife. We loved the room with its beautiful windows, letting in so much light. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the lovely welcome package and sweet notes. The room was spotless. It was spacious and included thoughtful touches such as robes and slippers. The breakfast delivered to the room was out of this world and set us up for a full day of sightseeing. We loved the scrambled eggs, croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, fresh cake, cheese, and more. Just scrumptious! The staff were lovely and so helpful. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Lisbon.
As we were there on a weekend, it did get a bit noisy at night. The hotel thoughtfully provided ear plugs which I needed to use one night.

I would have given 11 stars if available. Everything here exceeded my expectations. Enormous room w two double floor to ceiling windows with wooden interior shutters. Very comfortable king size bed. Separate "dressing room"/closet area, great shower. Breakfast included and delivered to your room! And what a breakfast! Fresh-squeezed oj, eggs w herbs, fresh fruit, croissants, sweet pastry, cheese and cold meat, and of course a big pot of strong coffee. We felt like royalty. Friendly, helpful staff, short walk to the metro and Rossio train station for your day trip to Sintra. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, including several literally 1 minute away.
Not an issue for us, but for anyone w physical limitations, there is no elevator.

Great location in Chiado from which to explore the City and has good nearby restaurants. Staff were excellent throughout reception, room service and in room breakfast. Loved agreed time to be served in our room a trolley with your breakfast with options - cooked, fruits, youghurts, pastries, hams and cheese. Our room and bed was large, well designed and light. Able to store luggage after normal check out at 12 Noon so we could walk the city again was great touch. If you are light sleeper like my wife make use of ear plugs provided for front rooms because the refuse lorries empty bins at night time.
Be aware that front rooms to road are not double glazed so make us of ear plugs provided in the room.

While the location and interior decor of the hotel was great, the staff at hotel were amazing. We had to change to a different room in the middle of the stay and they were happy to accommodate us and try to make something work. In addition, we had to send several messages to them to arrange transfer at the airport and a crib for our toddler and they were easy to communicate with and very helpful. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
Some of the rooms can get a bit noisy so if you are sensitive to noise, make sure you inquire about a quiet room when booking. They can help you find one that is less noisy.

This is beautiful, real palace with original ornaments. Breakfast is served in the mornin to room - which we were skeptical initially about but it turned out to be amazing experience. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough. Room is very spacious and equipped with coffee maker, capsules, tea, robes etc.. everything you'd need. Hotel is very nicely located - super close to many restaurants, couple minutes walk to riverside.
Sometimes you could hear noises from outside - like loud motorcycle parked on other side of a street, delivery car or such. Hotel provides ear plugs which i think is nice accent.

The hotel itself was beautiful with regards to architecture. We were in Room 9, and the view was amazing, overlooking the city of Lisbon. But the breakfast was spectacular. Although breakfast was included, the hotel had no breakfast room. Thus, they provided breakfast in your room every morning, and it was absolutely the best breakfast we had during our whole 3 week trip in Europe. Daniel who manned the front desk was also wonderful and wasted no time in sharing his knowledge of the history of the hotel, as well as the history of the city of Lisbon, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff also provided several recommendations for great places to eat. Thank you to the staff of the Palace Chiado Suites for a memorable stay.

The historic building with beautifully appointed large rooms were exceptional. The panoramic view from our window stretched across the rooftops to Lisbon cathedral and St Jorge's castle on the hill in one direction and over to the expansive river in the other. In the morning you could hear birds singing and church bells ringing. The central location meant we were able to walk almost everywhere and explore the surrounding districts and sites with ease. The staff were super friendly, efficient and always ready to provide information, maps and so on. A big plus is having a large and varied breakfast with fresh juice, coffee, eggs, breads, pastries and yogurt delivered to your room every morning, which felt very luxurious and provided a great start to the day. We would definitely stay here again.

Dear Lisbon - Palace Chiado Suites exceeded our expectations! Since we were staying a whole week in Lisbon, we wanted something fairly central, and we couldn't have found anything better! HUGE main bedroom, with large breakfast served in your room every morning! All the stafff here were friendly as ever, and always willing to help or answer any questions about the city or things to do. Made contact prior to arrival asking about transportation from the airport, and assisted in arraning tranpsportation when leaving as well. A big Thank You! to M, M, & A, and to the rest of the staff responsible for breakfast & taking care of us!
Our room faced the street, and being fairly central, the noise level late at night was a bit more than expected. There are a few rooms which face the river which probably see less of that but you'd have to ask beforehand.

Close to everything in downtown Lisbon that you wanted to walk to or meet your tour nearby. Beautiful spacious room with an amazing view of the castle and harbor. Very nice sized bed and good linens. Most delicious breakfast and almost too much food ! Bottle of port was very thoughtful and enjoyable at night after a long day of sight seeing.
Only one minor problem was some guests that came in loudly at 3am and woke me up. Not an issue of the property just the rudeness of the guests.
