We would absolutely stay again in My Story Ouro. The staff was helpful and friendly. The central location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was easy to navigate around the city and find plenty of things to do and see. Breakfast each morning was delicious. They had a wide variety of things to choose from : little pastries, fruit, juices, eggs etc. The coffee machine that they use had a wide assirtment of ways to drink coffee which was an unexpected pleasure. One evening, we decided to have dinner at the hotel instead of finding a local restaurant and we were not disappointed. My husband had pasta bolognese which he said was superb, as did 3 others in our party, and I had a simple ham and cheese sandwich with fries which was also wonderful.

Our room was smaller than we expected. We were unable to unpack for the 4 days we stayed because there weren’t enough hangers or drawers for our clothes. However, the room was kept spotless each day by the cleaning crew. One other thing: we travelled with 2 other couples. The lobby was extremely small so that when we all walked inside, there was little room for anyone else to get past all of us and our luggage.

Very nice decor, lovely staff. Welcome drink was a nice touch! Lovely breakfast, great location and welcome gift of Pastel de Natas also! Cute boutique style hotel.

Unable to control temperature in the room. Incredibly uncomfortable second night as I was very hot and had to call reception several times to turn the temperature down. Unable to sleep with windows open as very loud road. When I spoke next day to reception, they stated they could not cool the rooms during the winter months all they can do is turn the air conditioning off. Seems strange that either way you have to call reception to change the temperature in your room?

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Whenever we needed any assistance, they were happy to help and answer any questions we had. The location was so good, a 3 minute walk away from the Baixa-Chaido metro station and a few minutes walk away from the Santa Justa lift, Arco da Rua Augusta arch and the Praça do Comércio square. Pretty much all attractions were within walking distance and if not, they were a few minutes away of a metro journey. Housekeeping was good, we always came back to a clean and tidy room. The free toiletries we got was a nice touch as well as the little vanity set that was provided. And lastly, the free pastel de natas as a welcome gift to the city was lovely. Would 100% recommend staying in this hotel for those that visit Lisbon either for the first time or returning!

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss, sometimes it would connect and sometimes it wouldn’t work but this isn’t a reflection on the hotel itself as it was excellent!

Great localization - 3 minutes from the Praca de Commercio and seaside. Friendly staff: welcome drinks, complimentary dessert and tea and coffee in the room. Asked for shower cabine to be serviced - done the same day. Breakfast is not very varied, but for 15 euros it is excellent, considering that in local cafes for the same money you get only a sandwich and coffee. Freshly renovated, good mattresses, daily cleaning. All Rituals cleaning products

Capsuled coffee is not tasty, I would like bean coffee at breakfast.

Perfect location. New, clean rooms and bathrooms.

I was given an attic room, which limits tue usable floor surface area significantly. It also meant that, to walk to the one side of the bed, I had to bend over, as there height of the sloping ceiling is too low to walk upright. The same applies to using the toilet. I believe that these attic rooms should be sold at a discounted rate, which they were not. The room cleaning service also never came to even ask if I wanted my room cleaned, despite the “Clean my Room” sign hanging outside my door the entire day while I was out sightseeing. As I only stayed for two nights, this was not a big issue, but I expected to at least be asked if I needed anything.

Very nice staff. Good breakfast bufet - it was offered free of charge for our stay! Obrigago! :) Welcoming water bottle and a box of traditional portuguese sweet pastry (pasteis de nata), very nice! Each day drinking water was delivered to the room. Location is excelent - many tourist attractions are close by walking distance. The hotel has a nice lounge and restaurant so if you don't feel like walking around you can get a nice meal on the spot. Overall a good value for price, nicely decorated place and great location for your stay in Lisbon.

Hair found on the bathroom floor on the day we checked in - not cleaned well. The shower cabin needs an update (cracked corners, worn off colors, it fills quickly and drains slow) - however it was functional.

This hotel is in the perfect location. It is within walking distance to almost everything - public transportation, restaurants, major sight seeing. The hotel was very clean and it smelled amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend and go back!

The only thing that could have been better, was the shower. Every time we would take a shower, the water leaked out of the shower and we had to clean the water that had reached the hallway.

The breakfast was good. Quite a bit of choices and helpful staff. I do not drink coffee so I appreciated that there were several other choices for a beverage. The location is perfect! We were close to the metro, tons of cafes and shops, the historical arch and so much more. The room was small but adequate for our needs. We liked being able to open the balcony doors and overlook the street. The room was quiet although the street below was busy.

The bathroom was clean but not as clean as we would have liked. There was hair on the counter and some dirt on the floor that Incould feel when I walked in with bare feet. 😕

The location was perfect, due to its location we managed to see so many locations we wanted to see in Lisbon. The famous tram 28 also passes on the street nearby. There are many good restaurants nearby. The metro station is very near and the station to take train to Sintra is also nearby.

The room is a little bit small, the shower stand is also very small.

The location of the hotel is amazing. It's located in the very center (one parallel street to Rua Augusta) of the city that you can pass anytime during the day. The room was clean. The hotel even offered some services which were not included in our reservation, this made us very happy. We definitely recommend this place for your trip to Lisbon. It's also close to metro station, and we easily reached to the hotel from the airport.

The room was a bit cold.
