Room spacious with air-condition. Breakfast is fixed included which I don't like. It was also mediocre. The juice tasted terribly artificial and the selection of topics is limited. Parking is difficult. You can get lucky and get one of the free spots that belong to the hotel. But if you drive away, someone else from the hotel can take it. And it's around the building in the basement and very narrow. Better use a free parking space that is very close to the hotel https://maps.app.goo.gl/jh2aB93TwRhP4Qyw8 Regular parking on the street costs a fee. An official parking garage is also available for 15 euro per day. The hotel staff is friendly but English commutation sometimes difficult. It took a while until we got the info that the pool gets closed around 8pm.

The location is perfect, the hotel has a drop off/collection spot at the front which is helpful for travellers like me with a lot of luggage. The facilities are clean, the breakfast is outstanding, the staff were helpful with the most part, one of the welcome staff was less helpful than the other who couldn’t do anymore for me. The bed os comfortable and that makes a huge difference for me. My room had a balcony which I enjoyed in the unexpected heat of October.

The younger of the two ladies at the front wasn’t very keen to help with information, this is often the first impression of the venue and it’s important to not make the hotel guest feel like a hindrance.

The lady was really friendly and helpful our check in was at 3:00 pm but we got at the hotel around 10:00 am we left our luggage at the front desk and went for breakfast came back around12 :30 and she told us our room was ready. i love that she went above and beyond to help us. I just regret that I don’t remember her name to thank her enough.

The hotel room was exceptionally clean and looked brand new. I was sick when we got to Nazare and the bed was so comfortable that I was able to sleep for 12+ hours. The balcony was a nice addition as well. The breakfast was basic but good. The shower was perfect and the room and bathroom were a good size. Public underground parking within walking distance of the hotel.

There was no view to speak of. The balcony overlooked another building.

Hotel Ancora Mar is a clean and inside modern hotel. The staff was friendly and communicated well in english. The morning continental breakfast was good as well. The hotel is located in the middle of plenty of restaurants and shops and also only a few minutes walk to the large beach. My wife has mobility issues and walks with a cane, unable to climb stairs. The elevator made it a non-issue. We were overall happy with our stay and would return.

Our bathroom room floor was wet, where it meets the sink wall. A plumbing issue inside the wall, I suspect. It was in a non-traffic area and we were only staying one night so it didn't cause a problem for us. The staff seemed very accommodating so I'm sure they would have moved us if I mentioned it.

The hotel is in a great location. We are a family of 5 and the suite was just right. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The hotel has a rooftop pool and it is a fine diversion. The hotel definitely deserves more stars. The breakfast was okay, could have been a little bigger selection of dishes but the food was still delicious. The staff were very friendly. The parking-garage is 300 m away, but that doesn't bother anything. Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money. Great location in the center of Nazare (lower part of the city). Rooms are clean, medium in size, have everything you need (but no fridge). Our room had a large balcony overlooking the courtyard. The hotel has its own parking, which is a big plus for a miniature historical center. But when booking, be sure to indicate the need for parking, because it has limited number of parking places. There is also a small pool and sun loungers on the rooftop, although we did not use them.

Clean. Perfect value for money. Good location. Amazing personnel, very friendly and customer oriented. With their kidness and help, our stay at Nazare is really unforgateable.

When it rains, room is far away from being quite. Continental style of breackfast was good, staff changes dishes quickly. But boiled eggs and vegetables are missed are very welcome to assortment.

I was shocked it was rated 2 star.. it was so Schmick with sparkling tiles and newly renovated and the smell of cleanliness. We loved our room streaming with sunlight..a balcony where we could see the sea so enjoyed afternoons relaxing there. The breakfast was good.. everything you would want with a very nice staff at reception! Great location.. just a couple of minutes to the beach!👍👍

Very clean and comfortable. Location was easy to find. It is an older building but they maintained it very well. Breakfast was simple (bread, pastry, fruits etc), but has everything you need to get going in the morning. The front desk staff Alice was super sweet. Free parking on site which is a bonus for us.
