The hotel was located in the middle of the old village so accessing it from the car was a bit of a problem for us with restrictions on access through Easter. If walking from the car with your luggage is a problem ask about access before you travel there. We had a short walk from where we parked so managed but getting to where we parked was not so easy. The hotel is on the other hand right in the middle of the old town so very well located for a short stay in a historical village. The staff were accommodating and helped with the luggage as the lift was not working.

Access with the luggage was difficult but I guess to be expected in a narrow street old village. Overall a pleasant stay.

Nice room in historic ambiente. Bathroom and breakfast ok. Wonderfully calm during night.

(As nearly everywhere in Portugal...) missing signposting, which made us loose 30 min. The indication in google maps lead us to the rear side of the castle area onto a roughroad which ended in the nowwhere. This needs correction. It would also make sense to clarify in the description that the hotel is inside the castle area and can only be accessed by walking 10 min with the luggage from the parking area.

Great location! Very lively and enjoyable being in the center of the city! Comfortable beds and great views!

Bathroom was a bit slow to drain water. I did not know if the switches in the room were decorative or supposed to turn specific lights on (?). Reception light flickered like a 50s discotheque (should get that fixed!). Otherwise all good. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect. It’s in the middle of the Main Street. If you need to go to the bathroom, its just there. The staffs were so helpful. Especially Vania helped me a lot! She told me how to get to Nazare and its time schedule. Some of them wrote about bedbugs which I was really worried, but it was ok. Breakfast was good.

The loft is out of order. It seems that it hasn’t been repaired quite a long time.

I was very happy with this hotel and surprised at some of the poor reviews here. If you expect to stay in a Hilton, go somewhere else. This is indeed a historic hotel and I found it charming: heavy wood furniture, beams, windows with wooden shutters inside. It’s excellently located right in the middle of the town. (Instead of transporting all your luggage from the car, just bring the things you need for one night and leave the heavy suitcase in the car.) Breakfast was a continental breakfast typical for this kind of hotel, it was fine. What is great is after the tourists leave, having the town to yourself.

It was nice that the property was right in the city center on those tiny streets. Because the building was old, the room was also outdated, but clean. The lady from the reception told us where to park our car, nearby, free of charge 😁

The elevator was out of order so we had to carry our lugages on these narrow spiral staircase, not so nice. The breakfast was super poor.

Hotel perfectly located in the center of historic Obidos. Room very much fit our needs and included breakfast was quite pleasant. We felt the hotel provided a very good value.

Not a problem for us at all, but the rooms are not modern (if that is what you are seeking). Due to the car-free nature of the town, you will have to carry your bags a ways from where you park your vehicle.

The hotel was right on the main street inside the castle walls. Very convenient for walking around and enjoying the medieval sites. The staff (Vania)was very helpful and recommended very good restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was hearty. Coffee hot chocolate tea bread sweets juice meats cheeses we loved it

The wifi was only in common area and the charging station was a little difficult. Other than that everything was as described.

Breakfast was a bit basic but quite satisfactory. Rooms were clean and their traditional character gave a sense of back in time, which I enjoyed a lot.

The fact that while I booked the room , there was no one in the reception when we arrived and we had to wait for more than 20mins for someone to come for check in so as to enter to our rooms.

The location and room were excellent. We were right in the center of the town inside the castle walls. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was filled with a lot of choices for dining,

I am an early riser and my wife is not. I usually find a space outside the room to comfortably read and prepare for the upcoming day. I was disappointed that the common area was locked in the early morning. That said, the staff did try to accommodate me the best they could otherwise.
