After a strenuous travel in France I needed to rest and recover. This was the ticket! We arrived and they brought us a glass of sparkling wine while checking in and had a bottle on ice on our balcony. The balcony looked out to the waves crashing on the rocks and a stunning view! Leaving the sliding door open at night was divine. Beds comfy. Hot tub perfect temp! Easy parking. Big room with big bathroom! TV stations with many in English (with Portugués subs). The staff may be my fav in recent memory. Front desk was helpful with suggestions and so nice. I mean they could win a hospitality award!

The breakfast was included and the views from the restaurant magnificent. They had brewed coffee - a treat in Europe! However, the food was avg. It did not change from day to day. Nothing bad, but very avg. The hotel is in a small town and is an hour from Funchal. Some people may not like that. Others may love it! Funchal Forest not far. The natural pools they show are lukewarm. I didn’t enjoy them. Others I saw only stayed in them a short time. My friend said the saltwater irritated his eccema but not blaming them. It’s supposed to be good for your skin and bones. I doubt it. It hurt his skin. Too cold to help bones.

Incredible views over the rocky coastline and the ocean. The staff were incredibly helpful and arranged emergency taxis for us twice when our car rental fell through. Excellent food, very much enjoyed the included breakfast. Very nice touchers added like a bottle of fizz waiting in the room on arrival, and chocolates left on the pillows each night. Comfortable room with spacious balcony to enjoy the views and a fantastic walk-in shower. Hotel gives you a daily pass to the rock pools outside, but there are also free rock pools nearby which are more sheltered, so this is a great location to enjoy the natural rock pools in Porto Moniz. The whole experience made us feel very pampered and taken care of. Well worth the trip up to spend a few nights in Porto Moniz, this hotel was a perfect getaway.

The service at Aqua Natura Hotel is top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of complementary drinks and food available throughout my stay. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, offering a royal feast of fresh fruits, assorted bread, cereals, eggs, pancakes, and even wines and champagne, all served with a breathtaking view overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean. The facilities at Aqua Natura Hotel are equally amazing. The sauna, swimming pool, and jacuzzi are accessible 24/7. Thanks to its incredible personnel who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended!

Best hotel in Porto Moniz area. Reception staff was very kind and helpful. In fact. we did arrive before our check-in and they had the room ready and let us check in immediately.. They were so kind and helpful to look for immediate answer to whatever you ask for.. Very Comfy beds and a large room with nice view. Its exactly overlooking the hot spring area and they do provide welcome drink and free daily access to hot spring pools. One of the best breakfast we had in our Portugal trip of more than a week. They have delicious fresh juices, fresh yogurt, pancakes along with all normal routine breakfast options. They also have nice public car parking just outside the hotel gate. Would love to visit again during our next trip to Madeira.

Actually nothing that I don't like. Everything was prefect !!

The hotel situated next to the outdoor swimming pool and beach. The room was spacious, comfy, light. There was a big balcony equipped witk comfortable armchairs, table and a clothes-horse. We enjoyed sitting on it and listening the voice of the ocean waves in the evenings. We were impressed by the staff. Isabel and her colleagues in the restaurant at breakfast were very kind, very polite and smilling all the time. The service was exceptional. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean every day and filled up with coffee, tea and complimentary chocolate. Staff at the reception was amazing. They were very polite and always ready to help us. During our stay the gym in the hotel was renovated. But the hotel offered use using an another gym in 500 meters away. The hotel provided us a garage instead of the tiny car park next to the hotel. It was a safety place for our hired car. The check out was very quickly and we were very grateful for the kindness of getting a nice postcard and a small apple jam as a present.

The view from the room was great. Good and diverse breakfast.

The hotel is a bit dated. The sea view from the room was great; however, being so close to the sea meant the humidity in our room was high, and clothes were always a bit wet. The restaurant "Sea View" tries too much to be pretentious / fine-dining style, but they are far from achieving this. The food was a disappointment. Ants in the bathroom.

The hotel is in a spectacular location in the north of Madeira. The room was large, clean and with an unforgettable voice from the ocean. The staff is very polite, friendly and with great interest in the guest. The icing on the cake was the blue champagne. It is a good starting point for visiting all the interesting corners of Madeira, of which there are many. breakfast was good, with lots of fruit and sweets. The coffee was also good. Special praise goes to the bed, which is really big and comfortable. we slept in four different hotels during our 10-day stay in Madeira, and Aqua Natura Madeira is undoubtedly the best of the best. We will definitely be back.

It can be noisy during the day for guests staying on the 2nd floor, as there is also a restaurant on this floor, which is also open to outside guests. The cleanliness of the room, especially the terrace, may not have been perfect

The welcome by Joana Perry to start with. This young lady who met us with great kindness and enthusiasm needs to be highly commended for her manner and professionalism. She should train many another receptionists in other hotels who often leave very much to be desired. Our apartment room had a great view over the Natural Pools and was excellently well-equipped. Very comfortable and spacious. All members of staff were extremely kind and were evidently proud to be a part of the Aqua Natura team. Well done to all. A little parting gift of jam was a lovely send off.

Everything was perfect.

It was the best stay during our holiday in Madeira: nicely furnished room, big windows, huge balcony from where you can enjoy the ocean, sunset and sunrise. Nice bathroom with extremely high quality toiletries. The bathroom also had a window so you could enjoy the waves of the ocean while in shower as well. The staff was very nice and friendly - you get free tickets for natural pools and a drink to welcome you as well as some presents when leaving. AMAZING breakfast - all fresh, nicely prepared and tasty! Free parking nearby. Well worth the money - we would definitely stay again!

Receptionists were very helpful, answered all of our questions and made us feel welcomed! The room was stylish, exceptionally clean and well equipped. We even had complimentary champagne in the room! That was really a surprise. The room had balcony with magnificent view to the lava pools and ocean, we saw the sunset from there as well. It was so nice to fall asleep when listening the ocean waves. And the breakfast was just superb! Large variety of fresh dishes and fruits. Whenever visiting Madeira again, we will definitely come back! :) It was the best accommodation we had during the week (stayed in 5 different places).

There wasn't anything that bothered us in any was, everything was just excellent!
