This hotel is a real gem in Setúbal! Perfect location - right by two big streets, safe, many bus stops around, walking distance to most of attractions (old town, promenade), many cafes and restaurants around. 24h reception, lift. Lovely room with balcony, very comfortable bed, big tv, small fridge, very nice bathroom with bath tub which can be used as shower. Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels. Delicious breakfasts, especially bakeries. Amazing staff - very helpful and always smiling 🙂 Definitely I'll be back!

Lovely small hotel in perfect location to reach beaches, restaurants and shops in Setubal. Room was bright and airy and bed was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Parking outside hotel was limited but we found a free alternative only a few minutes away. Good breakfast selection. Wished we were staying more than one night

Clean and cozy hotel, ideal location and close to both the Embankment and the city center. Very friendly staff, features, a blonde woman at the reception. Thank you very much, she helped me a lot with various questions☺️ moreover, she printed out all the necessary materials for my convenience

Breakfasts were not very good to say the least. As I wished to monitor the quality of the dishes, their freshness and the cleanliness of the dishes

An excellent breakfast buffet, one of the best I have come across with plenty of options. Having proper coffee available was a great bonus.

Now that my wife and I are getting older we find shower over bath option difficult to deal with. This is not a major issue.

We had a fabulous stay at the Solaris.The staff are extremely helpful,João,Joana & Ruth are a credit to their profession they were always smiling ,friendly & helpful.The breakfast was more than adequate.Location is great.Get the 4472 or 4474 bus to Figueirinha,Galapos,Galapinhos & Creiro beaches just around the corner outside the Casa de Baia (tourist centre). Numerous restaurants within walking distance.

All the staff (room cleaners, breakfast service and reception) were very professional, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, rather exceptional these days.

Some noise from outside the hotel (people talking loudly in the street late at night) but this is not within the hotel’s control.

Great location, lovely old building, pleasant helpful staff, comfortable clean room, good wifi, and good range of TV channels including English news channels. Very very clean. English speaking staff. There is free hotel parking (about 6 spaces) but not the easiest to access. Plenty of free parking on the waterfront which is only 5-10. minutes walk. Given its location the hotel was reasonably quiet although there is a bar underneath it.

The breakfast on our first morning was poor. On the second morning it was very much better. However the real let down was the coffee which was the worst I have ever experienced in Portugal. A pity. Noise from within the hotel can be a problem if the people on the floor above decide to talk loudly at 5.40am and move around. Not the hotel's fault but perhaps they should have a quiet period policy.

The location was perfect to walk everywhere and tourist office right there. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Our suite type room was perfect with desk and two chairs and large doors to open to outside. Robes, mini frig and air condirioning were a plus.

This hotel was in a great location, close to everything. Very clean, lovely staff and a great breakfast. I loved their coffee machine…. they even had decaf which was definitely a bonus for me.

Nothing
