Good value for money. Free parking available, friendly staff. Nice breakfast selection, the kids loved the pancake machine. :) Rooms were cleaned every day, I was overall impressed how clean everything around was. Just 30 minutes driving from Lisbon and maximum one hour from all main attractions around: Sintra, Cascais, etc..

Although breakfast selection was good, we would have loved to have some legumes (tomatoes, cucumbers, etc...) available. Also, in the room the TV was an old one, we were traveling with kids and some evenings we would have loved to have the opportunity to play a movie on it, but it was practically impossible (no HDMI input, no smart TV functions - Netfix, Youtube, etc...). I understand the hotel is currently under improvement works, I hope this changes in the future because we plan to return.

Location was good, close to the port and to roads towards Serra Arrabida, decent play zone for the kids, decent swimming pool and playground (just the playground floor was black and therefore fairly hot to step on), absolutely fabulous breakfast, friendly staff.

The bathroom was worn out and would deserve an upgrade as would the mattresses which were very uncomfortable and completely worn out too. The minibar could also be bigger and better equipped. I was a bit dissapointed with the dinner menu and quality, once I had a Caesar salad which consisted of Rocket salad that was clearly leftover from morning breakfast service and a very dried grilled meat which was cold so I guess that was taken from leftovers of lunch. That meal was not particularly good experience and I could not even request a new one as it was quite late and we were there with two little kids so I just had to eat quickly whatever I was given. I would expect hotel staff to ensure the quality of the food served which wasn't this case unfortunately.

the common areas were mostly nice and fresh (the pool and outside area need maintenance with bits broken and so on, but they did get new sun loungers when we were there). The staff was mostly very nice with one exception - and 5 stars to Guilherme and Pedro! The play area was a hit with the kids! Breakfast was good!

the rooms need updating and the sofa beds are too old and uncomfortable for adults to sleep on it comfortably. the one guy at reception (Joao Soares, if I recall correctly) refused us an extra 1-2h check out. The hotel was clearly empty, we had stayed 9 nights on two rooms (family of 5 with small kids) and the rooms never got cleaned before late afternoon so it was a clear example of not wanting to help at all. It’s a real shame because the stay had been very enjoyable but the lack of apathy and unfriendliness from the guy is what we will remember the most! The snack menu during the day is very limiting and the food consistency at the restaurant was lacking

Location and staffs are incredible. The swimming pool is located on the perfect spot. I've been using these facilities over the last 11 years and I loved the refurbished bathrooms.

They definitely need to upgrade their TV set in their rooms.

Lidia!! she is an amazingly helpful person who has the capacity to think out of the box and get things resolved where others would just shrug and give up. She's young and she will go very, very far with such a positive 'everything's fixable' attitude :)

The trees in the car park leak a type of sap on to the cars

The hotel is easily accessible by car but not near to the centre. Easy to park in the hotel parking. The room's size is reasonable but the decoration was outdated. Simple breakfast with not many options but the food was tasty. It is not a blast but it is a good value for the money paid.

All the common areas look new and clean. The pool is great and they have few pickle ball courts. The rooms are not so well maintained as the rest of the hotel, but it’s ok. complementary breakfast was very good. great variety of foods!

The staff was great, although had some issues with the key cards and seems to be generic but always trying to solve and very helpful. The breakfast was awesome one of the best I had in hotels

Despite the pandemic, staff were friendly and helpful as ever, and took all precautions. I had not been there for a while and seems refurbishment of all rooms has been completed, I really like the wooden floors and clean, modern looks of the rooms. Bar and restaurant were fine, I had excellent Bacalhau and a nice Alantejo to wash it down. Breakfast was excellent as ever, and lots of it....I can't get enough of their scrambled eggs! I was working, but it's only a short taxi ride to the port where there is a large selection of bars and restaurants. The Jumbo shopping complex is also nearby, and has a nice selection of fast and slow food outlets.

It would be nice if one of the restaurant television monitor(s) could be switched to the football channel when games are on, although the facility is there to eat in the bar area where the main tv screen is located, so only a small moan!

Staff very kind. Good variety at breakfast Playground beside swimming pool. Swimming pool towels available. hammocks available in a quiet area, with lovely shades under the trees.
