Upon arrival we were offered a pastry and a glass of Port. Check in was easy and the receptionist very friendly and helpful. Our room was larger than expected and nicely decorated. There was a safe, mini bar/refrigerator, coffee maker, and kettle in the room. I will say that the striped carpet messed with my eyes. Breakfast was satisfactory with fresh fruit, some meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurt, juice, etc. Both Eva and Sara were exceptionally cordial and helpful. There is free parking in a public lot across the street. If it’s full, there’s another lot a short distance away.

this hotel exceeded all expectations. It is located about an 10 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride from the Train Station. the property is central to everything in Tomar. our first impression was of a modern, extremely cared for hotel. GREAT front desk staff who were always willing to help us as travelers. A special thank you to Melanie in the evening! The hotel room was spacious, as was the shower and bath. ALL the amenities were there and functioning well. We loved the room. there is a rooftop bar in the evening with views of the Castle. Stay here! you will not be disappointed

location was excellent, the person at the reception was wonderful, room was clean and comfortable, water is included in the room, reception has little treats for guess, like tea at 5 pm, a welcome Porto wine!! nice place!!

it is not the hotel’s fault but there is huge construction going on to build a massive hotel just around, literally around this hotel and it is noisy since early in the morning! the hotel have a beautiful rooftop but now when you go there you only see construction machines in front of you!! sad!!

Excellent, fresh breakfast. Great service all around. View of town, river and castle.( Ensure when booking.) Funky boutique decor, im happy i brought my own pillow, everything else was perfect. Short Walk to all the good stuff ;) Perfect location. Good food everywhere! Bring plug in adaptor if not from europe. Check out weekly farmers market. Many organic stores with non toxic options. Check out Templar Castle. Its spectacular. 6 euros. Bring walking shoes. Everything you could possibly need or want is walking distance. Good soccer match in the park.

Id prefer Softer Pillow and softer bed.

Excellent small hotel in central Tomar. Excellent breakfast, pleasant, helpful staff. Interesting town; first time in Tomar, visited the Convento de Cristo, the historic center, Templar churches. Room was spotlessly clean, good tv, excellent wifi connection, great shower that did not spray into the rest of the bathroom. I was traveling alone, and found the room completely adequate. It might have been a bit small for two people. Great, thoughtful decor - there's even an explanation that the design of each floor of the hotel is different reflecting different historical periods of the city. Quietly effective, and not cookie-cutter identical. Easy walking distance to many interesting destinations.

Nothing to report. Even the free parking was conveniently nearby. I used a laundromat two blocks away. Easy access.

The location is right by the river and close to the shopping. Castle can be walked to up a long windy road but why not just take a taxi. Right now on the rooftop deck the river can be seen in various peek a boo views but once the new hotel constructions finish that won't be possible. Room was decorated a fun theme--very inventive. Patio doors opened to a stop up outside view so not visible once inside the room. Breakfast was good especially for the price. Selections of cheeses and meat. Enjoyable roof top patio.

No outside view--just light. Eggs cool on both days. Almost didn't get parking on various days as it is open to anyone not just hotel quests. The pretty picture of the green grass in a decorative landscape circle has turned to dirt and weeds....perhaps as a result of newly constructed construction fence for new hotel. Still it now can be addressed.

Amazing jam in heart of Tomar, very close to everything. The room itself is very comfortable clean and nicely decorated. There were enough space for 2 and luggage. Liked the rituals cosmetic in bathroom, nice touch. The breakfast is amazing, very delicious and good variety. There is also nice terrace on the top with great city and tampliere castle view.

The parking space is very very limited by the way but this is not about the hotel, just FYI.

This really is a very stylish boutique hotel. Not too big, furnished in very good taste with spotless decoration Fatima on reception was so pleasant and had a great customer interaction. Great location, free public parking outside. Excellent breakfast and the honesty bar with roof terrace.

It's a shame that they are refurbishing a building in front of the hotel. Apparently its going to be a Villa Gale hotel....

Great location for exploring the city, very nice and comfortable room, good Wi-Fi and great breakfast choice.

We picked to stay when there was a festival on in the city and there was a lot of building work going on around the hotel so many roads and much of the free parking around the hotel was closed. So after driving around for 15 minutes, I ended up parking 1/2 mile away. It would have been nice to have been warned of this.

Friendly staff. Comfortable clean room. Good breakfast. Roof terrace with views to castle and drinks/snacks available. Tea and coffee in room and English language TV, both of which were rare on my trip. Short walk to old town restaurants and shops. Street parking outside hotel

Street parking got full quickly and although spaces frequently became free at some times of day cars were hanging around waiting to pounce on them Despite timed slots the small breakfast room was swamped one morning by a tour group making it difficult to get to anything.
