I really enjoyed my stay at the Sunset Marquis. The staff were friendly & helpful; and the rooms & facilities are top notch! The location is ideal especially if you're not driving - it's right next to Sunset Plaza and the Sunset Strip is a little further down the road. There's a lot to do within walking distance or a short Uber ride. One of the reasons I didn't get to visit the hotel restaurant is that there was so much to explore in the area with lots of places to eat so you're really spoilt for choice. I didn't get to use either of the pools but I walked around the beautiful, well manicured and landscaped grounds and it seemed to me that the villa pool area is the only part of the hotel that could use some modernising / improvement. The on-site gym is fully equipped and temperature controlled although you also have the benefit of using the Equinox gym on Sunset Plaza as a guest which is a great bonus! Super comfy beds and luxurious towels, gowns, slippers and toiletries - a real treat 😊

Fun, beautifully designed hotel in a quiet, central location with many good restaurants within walking distance. There was a good mix of families and other travelers here—we felt comfortable as a family but it didn't feel overrun with kids. Our suite was spacious and comfortable.

We didn't find much to complain about with this hotel! The only thing we saw as a downside is that the only parking is valet, but they were super quick to get our car every time.

Fabulous location, a lovely oasis in the middle of West Hollywood. Staff were fantastic. We had left our passports at previous hotel in Santa Barbara and the concierge team went above and beyond to get them returned to us before we left. Very comfortable bed, mini bar and snacks in room were well thought out, great amenities. On site restaurant is good., bar is great. Great restaurants in walking distance. Feels like a home away from home but very cool

I loved how spacious the rooms were (I had a junior suite), the bathroom was so big and generous too. Lots of space to put your things away, plus a whole dining area too. It felt like a luxurious apartment.

There's nothing here I could fault. I had an issue with the AC not working, but I asked about it and it was fixed within the hour. The staff here just really take care of you.

It's really not cheap, some would say the pools could be renovated, but hey, this place is out of competition: It has spirit. Parking is too expensive. One thing: leave those silly overpriced snacks with the motion detector to uncool places. Thanks! Love you!

I love my Junior suite Cabana room. It was located on the first floor direct pool access like the description says. Decor and room is nice size. The bathroom and shower is big with nice quality bathroom products. As a women and travel agent that like luxury can appreciate this. Everything was provided including robes. Room service was quick and easy. Staff -Sergio front desk is nice and friendly.

The experience at the Sunset Marquis was extraordinarily in all points: the staff was fantastic and make you feel at home, the villas are exquisit, the location couldn't be better and the restaurant is world class. Not to speak of the Gardens sourding it, which are a place to rewind, relax and find peace in the middle of LA. We will return soon.

Fantastic Garden, great venue, delicious restaurant (catering to vegan and gluten free) and very professional and relaxed staff. Hollywood feeling included. If you want to experience the spirit of LA in all it's glory, this is the place to stay.

Prices are high (as usual nowadays in California).

Very good location in a quiet side street of Sunset, close to everything in Hollywood/Beverly Hills. We liked the pool and the size of our room. It was so quiet, we could even open the balcony door at night. The staff was extraordinarily friendly. Room service was very fast and food very tasty. The restaurant has a very nice terrace surrounded by a garden.
