This is a hideaway tucked away in the center of West Hollywood. It is beautifully tended, very clean and spacious. There is a communal outdoor deck that is lovely to spend time reading or visiting with friends. There is off-street parking (additional fee), but parking didn't seem to be a big issue for visitors. We had a downstairs unit in an up/down bungalow - fully equipped kitchen along with a separate living room, master suite and a powder room. It was like having an apartment to ourselves on a lovely property. There are also bungalows that are self contained units, meaning no neighbors up or downstairs.

I would encourage the property to impress upon those staying upstairs to be mindful that there are people staying downstairs. Constant noise from guests and housekeeping was very annoying (especially at 6AM), and really intruded on the peaceful nature of the place. Same for the stairway to the upstairs units, noisy to the point of feeling they were in your room. Also, a better coffee maker would have been appreciated.

This was very cute property with a lovely courtyard. Our room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, and very good water pressure in the shower.. The staff was very friendly, street parking was easy, and loved staying in this area of LA.

We're on a road trip and were looking forward to using the laundry machines, but they were really lousy - not a deal breaker but something to consider if you're relying on the laundry. The machines were old, extremely loud and ineffective. We did a small load that had to run twice in the washer because it just weirdly errored out and stopped...and we ran the dryer for almost two hours and clothes were still damp. We were in the Sasha room and a family with small children were staying below us and were extremely loud - the noise carried such that they sounded like they were in our unit, waking us up at 6am.

lovely aesthetics. having a kitchen, washer ans dryer, small sitting area and parking is terrific. beautiful grounds, gated entry made me feel safe as a woman traveling alone. i loved the sunny windows, the landscaping, the white orchid in the windowsill of my room and the zebra skin old hollywood style rug!

this place can work for business but it’s not ideal. There are not good work tablea with nearby plugs, etc so you have to make renovated old apartments work for business and these don’t quite work fir that. ther frint desk has limited hours and they ask that you check in by a certain hour, there is noone to answer the phone regularly if outside of office work hours, there is no interior central waiting or gathering space, if u have to leave your bags they have to sit out in the tiny reception space, etc. However for traveling and visiting and just checking out LA this is a beautiful solution!

Loved that the property was historic. There is not too much of that in LA. Very safe.

Parking was tight and we were never sure if we were parking correctly.

We stayed at the Dylan and it was certainly a home away from home. Bed really comfy, lots of space in the room, 2 big Tv´s with loads of channels, nice kitchen with everything that we needed. The living area was also amazing. Decoration is lovely and it feels like you are staying in a piece of Hollywood story . Neighborhood was excellent, with supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance. Will definitely come back.

As it has wooden floors, we could hear the people on the apartment on top of us walking all the time. It was a little bit annoying in the early morning as a couple of times we were woken up by them walking but I understand it is something that happens. Doesn´t take away the fact that this is a top hotel that I would recommend to everyone that goes to LA.

The property was beautiful. The check in/check out process for easy and the location was centrally located. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was nice to have a kitchen but it did lacked some necessary items. Please consider either providing necessary items like paper towels, dishwasher soap, and coffee or provide a way in which these items can be ordered ahead of time.

The advertisement of a kitchen is nice, but when you get there and there's no dishwasher soap or paper towels, it's a bit frustrating. Also, I called and asked about what was provided. I was told coffee was included but not that it was only offered at an additional cost. An email sent ahead of time would have been nice for the items that could have been ordered and waiting for us. Also, having stayed somewhere else for the same price, the difference was amazing in that we received many items in our room every day (including water). Those little perks can make a world of difference in satisfaction. If you hype up amenities like a kitchen, you should provide a way of using it.

What a gem! Love this place and would definitely stay again. Staff very communicative to allow personal check-in. Room was well appointed with kitchen, sitting room and a spacious bedroom. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful. Gardens (English style of course) were pretty and well maintained. Spacious deck for enjoying a glass of Champagne in the sun! (Two loungers, seating and even a large dining table with parasols.

Beautiful oasis in a central part of L.A. Full of history and the attention to detail was excellent. Excellent room/apartment with lovely kitchen and everything one would need.

A bar on the premises would have been helpful or even an option to offer breakfast to the guest.

The interior design was exceptional…absolutely beautiful decor. The villa was so spacious and the bed was surprisingly comfortable considering I never slept on a firm mattress prior to this. The location is perfect for access to West Hollywood, Melrose, Beverly Hills. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again.

Parking should be included with the cost of the room.

the property was incredible ! poor old school luxury with nothing left out ! the location was amazing , staff so helpful, beds so comfortable ! I really can’t say enough how great and happy we were to have stayed here.
