Staff was amazing, room was huge and pool was outstanding.

Definitely one of the biggest 'standard' rooms of any hotel I have stayed in. Given we were sharing with our child, we had a ton of space. And the elegant bathroom was massive. But we had a non existent view, and moreover the room itself was not very well styled and felt a bit drab to be honest. Clean and functional, but forgettable, size (and bathroom) aside. The staff were almost without exception super friendly and helpful. The bar and food we had there were excellent. Good breakfast buffet.

The guy running the valet parking (when I used it once) was the exception sadly. Just stood out as more gruff than his colleagues and was not forthcoming when I was asking naively about the car park next to the property. Till I twigged it was because it was all about the tips, or lack of if I parked elsewhere. Was nothing heated, but it felt very transactional.

Perfect hotel for gateway vocation! Great location and close to everything we wanted to visit in LA. Very comfortable bed , nicely decorated big room, huge bathroom and amazing view from the balcony. The pool is big with wonderful city view! All staff are very friendly and helpful, concierge and front desk staff are always welcome and nice! We got an upgrade for our booking which was really surprising and amazing! Complimentary breakfast with different options was really good! Definitely will come back and stay again at this beautiful hotel. Highly recommend!!!

Nothing , everything is perfect!

The staff were all very friendly! Food in restaurant was excellent. I ate at the hotel every meal while there. Two friends visited me and they loved the food too. The pool area is awesome and the room views were exceptional.

Some rooms are better than others. I was moved twice which meant I had to tip bellhops twice for something that wasn't of my doing. First room had consistent rattling air conditioner. Second room was adjoining with a family that had a kid with a high pitched voice that would not stop talking, even at 12:39 AM. The kid also opened and slammed the door over and over. The hotel finally moved me to a One Bedroom Gate Suite and it was quiet and I was able to work and sleep perfectly! I will book that level suite from now on.

Loved the vibe! The Check-in was so easy and seamless, they took all of our bags up, room was awesome (amazing shower pressure!) so pretty & cute. The free breakfast was great, the server brought us mimosas on the house! And the pool servers were also excellent. Pool is beautiful and mellow, not club vibes which we appreciated! The house car offered us free rides within 2 miles, which was perfect for our dinner at Koi.

Our room was not cleaned on the first day, but they were quick to remedy the situation. The coffee could have been better at the continental breakfast (a little weak!)... but honestly great stay can't really complain!

- We booked the premium vista suite, the rooms were large and extremely comfortable. - The rooms were also very quite, something I find hard to find. - The pool deck is incredible - The bar area is great

- The hotel is right on sunset strip - so it extremely noisy if you try sit on your terrace. - The hotels seems to host outside parties on the pool terrace every night and we found this to be very noisy. All the party guests also then come down to the hotel bar to eat/drink and leaves inside hotel guests not able to have a drink at the bar. In our view this is unacceptable for the rate we are paying. - Hotel guests should be able to enjoy the facilities and not be turned away because outside guests have filled up the small space. - The breakfast was great but it was the same everyday - no variety at all.

When checking in they pre-authorised my card but didn’t mention they included additional charges of $150 per night in case of damages or room service etc. Stayed for 5 nights so was ‘charged’ $750 extra which caused my credit card to exceed its limit! Not really that big of a deal as it’s not a real charge and is refunded at checkout, just would’ve been nice to let me know so I could’ve paid some of my credit card off so the limit wasn’t exceeded! Also, not a great variety of breakfast options available.

Loved the size of the room and how spacious everything was including the bathroom. The gym was a great size with lots of equipment.

It wasn't clear that the included breakfast was for buffet only but it wasn't that much for it. It just would have been nice to make sure that was clear. Certain rooms do face a local school and during the week you can hear kids screaming and school bells ringing. It was a little disturbing somewhat

Very nice English style hotel. Very friendly staff. Food allergies nicely captured with dinner, but nfortunately the breakfast selection was not that good for one with food allergies. French speaking lady at dinner gave an extraordinarily nice feeling. Valet parking worked nicely.

Balcony door was not closing properly. Called maintenance and they fixed it quickly. But the narrow space appeared again with wind blowing in.

Perfect location! Great staff! Check in and check out we’re seamless. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I was told on check in that I could take care of all the various tips for the staff on check out. Then I go to check out and was told I could not. Next time will have to tip double! Lol!!

Breakfast was the same every day. It was delicious but some variety would be nice.
