Sonesta Select Dallas Richardson

We stayed in room 420. The sheets were soft and the mattress was very comfortable. There were 4 pillows of varying firmness on the king-size bed. The shower water heated up quickly. The closet door is made of full-length mirrors which can be opened partially to create a 3-way mirror. The room has plenty of convenient outlets and good lighting. The bathroom fan is loud, but not obnoxiously so, which we like to use for white noise. We never heard other guests in the hall or next door, if there were any! The lobby/reception area is large and well-appointed.

Only Pepsi products in the lobby “convenience” market, but there is a 7-11 nearby. The sofa in our room wasn’t comfortable and the upholstery needs cleaning.

I had to travel to Richardson last minute after Mother was in a serious car accident. I was tired from the 10-hour drive and extremely stressed form worry about my Mother, Jackie was working the front desk she was very kind and seemed to genuinely care about my needs for this stay. I can't thank her enough for being so courteous and attentive she really helped to ease the situation. The entire staff was friendly and courteous and that means a lot.

There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again.

Location its very safe and quiet. Cleanliness of the facilities.. the room temperature is perfect! Some hotel preset the temperature in the room but Sonesta doesn't it allows you to go as low as 60. Love it! I like my room cold. Bed is so comfy :)

Breakfast is not included in the room rate but it's ok. Wifi doesn't work on Third Floor and 4th floor, we have to be moved twice to get a wifi access. Kind of a hassle! clothes dryer broken at the time of our stay ( hassle)

Spacious, clean, and friendly staff. I also love that we had a balcony and a bathroom fan. As odd as that sounds, many hotels today stopped installing bathroom fans (presumably to save a buck) leaving customers with stinky, humid, bathrooms, but not this hotel. The accommodations, comfortable bed, swimming pool, lobby restaurant, location — everything was much better than I expected given the affordable price. I will definitely stay here again.

Bed was comfortable, temperature was great, very clean, good carpet, loved walk in shower, warm water quickly, could use a little more water pressure but overall we were Very pleased! Price was excellent! Very nice front desk.

I was taken by surprise they put $100 hold on my card for incidentals. I don’t really like that, it won’t be back for a few days.

The location was great for the venue we attended. The facilities were very nice. The room was a nice size so we didn't feel cramped. Will stay here again if the need arises. Great value for the three days we stayed.

The only issue we had was just one elevator seemed to be working. The key card to the room malfunctioned twice and we had to get them re-scanned. Other than these two issues, the hotel was great.

For this property to house so many individuals and only provide 1 washer and 1 dryer for the whole facility is crazy! I’ve been here 3 weeks on work and my room phone has never been on. Manager claimed the entire 3rd floor needed to be fixed when in reality they just don’t want anyone calling down to the front desk asking for anything. The room had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and professional. Very helpful with all my questions. Most of all I was comfortable with the nightly rate. I was not aware of Sonesta before this trip, but I will book with you again.

Most of all I found the breakfast priced very high. A breakfast sandwich and coffee totaled around $14-$15. That's more expensive than Starbucks, with a Latte. The WIFI did not work with my company computer. I used my own hotspot. There was no guide on the TV remote or in the room. I had to go channel by channel which is not fun.

The hotel location was excellent, it was located near major streets and highway making access easy, yet secluded from noise. The accomadations were very nice and staff very polite. the registration area and casual area were very accomadating. The room was very clean, linens fresh and extremely comfortable. The property appeared to be very well maintained. It was an extremely good value, I booked same day and was happy to get a room here.

My 1st stay was 2nd week of October and my husband accompanied me, the staff was pleasant, we had issues with internet so they moved us to 1st floor from the 3rd. My 2nd week I just finished again very welcoming, clean just a very pleasant place. I'm a traveling scrub and I'll be spend 3 nights a week for the next 12 weeks in Richardson TX hopefully at same hotel

Only thing is you had to purchase the breakfast and wasn't served until 7, which I'm already gone to work at hospital.
