Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful swimming pool. Restaurant and bar near pool were very nice. Overall a good location and nice place to use a s a base to explore south/southeastern Puerto Rico.

The beach was covered in seaweed and unusable. Obviously no fault of the staff or ownership, but it did prevent guests from using the beach.

The location on the Caribbean is spectacular. Room was very large and comfortable and view of the water is fantastic. The infinity pool is also gorgeous as is the restaurant overlooking the pool and the beach.

I stayed here for 2 nights a few months ago and returned because I had such a great visit. My only relatively minor complaint this stay was that the dinner I ordered one night in the restaurant was not very good. But overall, this is a wonderful hotel that feels more like a resort than just a hotel and I will definitely return for another stay.

This is a great property with a private beach and nice grounds. You can take a small stroll around the property or the beach (which is dirty due to the algae bloom) . The infinity pool is defnly an attraction for this property. The restaurant is tropical themed and good size. The included breakfast is made to order and served hot unlike self serve in some 3 star hotels. Wait staff are nice and most of them are bilingual. Remember, its not a resort. If you go with right expectations, you will be happy.

Beach was not usable due to erosion and washed up algae. Washer didnt work but that wasnt a big deal. They could provide beach/pool towels. We have to use the room towels. Just outside the property there is a bar and it was dirty and trash strewn around.

This was our fifth trip to Puerto Rico to see family and we always stay at Parador Maunacaribe. Our last trip was 4 years ago, prior to COVID and we were excited to return this year. We again stayed at the hotel and it was as always, an excellent experience. Staff is attentive and friendly and professional. Clean room. Quiet and peaceful. Food is very good! We LOVE it here!

The beach is eroding and its not as easy to get to the beach anymore... It would be nice to have an area where you can get onto the beach easier where its not so high. Some of the lounge chairs straps were broken on the limited seating by the pool, would like to see that fixed so there is more comfortable seating. Very minor things!

I couldn’t believe how gorgeous this place is!! our room is literally right on the ocean in front of one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to! The room is comfortable and cozy with a patio to enjoy looking right at the beach. Punta Tuna beach spans forever to the Southeast point of Puerto Rico with a historic lighthouse at the point. thick palms line the golden sand as far as the eye can see! the pool is amazing too! The edge sits right over the ocean. the staff was so wonderful too! I can’t wait to come back and stay for more than just one night!!!❤️

The hotel clearly profits from its location with beautiful beaches and restaurants nearby. Clean and easy to find, too. Friendly staff in general.

American breakfast and not to compare with European ones. Not all staff did speak English - which can be annoying as they're the frontline workers and not all tourists speak Spanish fluently. Earlier breakfast was promised but when we came to pick it up, we were told that this was not possible. Come on, we only asked for a coffee at 7:30am instead of 8:00am!

a little run down. few details like the deadbolt in the apt didn’t work, leak in the toilet bowl, and facilities to pay with card had to be at the front desk. not a deal breaker, but it would create more problems in the future. also, the hvac was set at one temperature and wasn’t available to adjust,

This is a great hotel for getting away for a bit. The staff is super friendly, the pool is great and the facilities were super clean. Would definitely go back. The restaurant is great considering not a lot of food options outside of the hotel so take advantage of the restaurant inside the hotel.

Room needed more lighting.

Nice little hotel, quiet and clean with a nice pool. Ate in the restaurant for breakfast which was nice, and had one evening meal there too which was also good. Location was good, next to some other good restaurants and a beach although the sea was very rough

We stayed for 5 nights and could have done with some fresh towels half way through our stay and a bit of a clean in the room.

the location is lovely with the pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. the staff is professional, helpful and very competent and Friendly! i like the fact that it is a small intimate place to stay and in addition to their own restaurant we could walk to 3 other places if we wanted to.. the manager, Anna Cristina really helped us out when there was an issue priorto our arrival.

maybe would like to have the option for two chairs at the front of our room to sit and enjoy the view!
