I really loved the entire look of this place; it is absolutely beautiful. The tranquility and coziness' we felt was exactly what we needed. The patio and pool area were nice, and were nicely surrounded by beautiful, placed plants and lots of greenery, the pool felt to always be the perfect temperature... It would have been nice to maybe have a few more towels in the room after a few days... but we made it work. The shower doesn't have anything to hold shampoo or soap, so we had to throw on the floor... There are no shelves or hooks anywhere in the room to hang anything in the room, and the nightstand space is defiantly not enough for all the personal stuff you'd like to keep out like lotion, deodorant, sunscreen and etc... Also, keep in mind as I said no hooks so things took long to dry, but we were in the bird nest room and my husband would put some stuff outside to dry which didn't take too long considering the weather. Location is in a good area, literally a 3-minute walk to the beach, plenty of food restaurants, bars and gas stations close by. Less than 10 minutes away from Old San Juan with plenty of Ubers always close, with not very long wait times... We are used to a king size, and I didn't realize how small a queen bed was till our first night, but the bed is very comfortable, so it wasn't too bad... The TV could be raised as it's so low it was hard to watch tv once we were actually in bed and had the comforter on it covered half the tv. Also, maybe update some pictures, bird nest showed to nice chairs on the balcony, and we only had one wicker chair.... which was very disappointing as it was both me and my husband... -A suggestion would be to add a full body mirror in the rooms. It would be nice to see how you look especially when on vacation!

This property was a jewel of a find! Very conveniently located. Tons of places to eat, easy to get around, wonderful patio for relaxing, pool convenient, staff very accommodating, rooms comfortable, beach very close, the complete outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had everything one could want, free water stocked in the fridge, free large capacity washing machines and dryers, I could go on and on!! Everyone in our party of 5 loved the peaceful garden setting of the facility. If I’m ever back in San Juan, this will be my go to place!!!

location is incredible! lots of restaurants nearby, nightlife is walkable, and the coffee shop across the street was so convenient! it’s also very aesthetically pleasing and the pool was great!

only downside is we didn’t get housekeeping during our stay. we were there for only 4 days so not terrible and we probably could have asked if we needed anything switched. just something to know for the future

This hotel was great! Beautiful pool, clean rooms, easy access with a door code for the gate and contactless check in. Esmeralda was so kind and answered right away when I called with the few questions during our stay. Bonus points for the sweet little stray kitten hanging around the property!

The only negative I have for this property is that parking is difficult if you travel here and rent a car because is it street parking only. I noticed this when I booked, but I had assumed that it would be designated parking but would be on the street. That’s on me for not calling to clarify, but just be warned if you plan to rent a car! Street parking was difficult to find spots especially at night.

I like that it was east to get in and out of the main gate, the pool was nice

I didn’t realize it wasn’t a proper hotel with a front desk and wish I had realized that. The door to my room was tricky and the only way for folks not to see in was to pull down the blind, but that made it hard to go in and out. Nothing dried, there was no where to hang towels

Very cute. Safe, perfect amount of space for 2 adults in a room. The pool was nice. The area has lots of food options. And super close to the beach! Easy check in and check out.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. There isn’t any hotel staff on site which might be a downside for some that may want a resort experience.

Pool and location were great. Comfortable beds too.

Seemed like there was construction going on (or staff present) and can hear them all talking very loud at 7am. Poor water pressure in the shower.

I loved the hotel's location and the private pool. The beautiful beach is walking distance and there were many eateries and some bars in the area.

I booked a room with a balcony and couldn't use it because the door was so difficult to open and close. Also, the pool featured a Sonos system, but unfortunately it wasn't working.

love the location, the manager was very responsive and take care of things we need it in timely manner. My only suggestion to them, may be to add some more shelves and hooks in the room and bathroom so you can hang and place your belongings. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Stay at Mare

The location is perfect. I wanted a peaceful getaway with the option to participate in nightlife if I wanted. What I love most is that this hotel is near things to do but not right in the middle of it. It’s about a two minute walk to get to the beach I believe this beach to be the best one. I love that this beach is clean and isn’t as crowded as a Condado Beach.
