Everything is nice. Our check-in process was smooth and they let us leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out. The room is clean and we love the big mirror on the wall. There is hairdryer provided, and you can just request iron if need one. It is advisable to bring your own indoor slippers to keep your room & feet comfortable!

We wish the room can be more soundproof. It will be a plus point if they add bidet in the toilet too.

Clean, wifi good, shower good, quiet. Some reviewers have stated that the hotel is in a red light district - I would say it's on the outer edge of the district and if you want to avoid that area, just take the No. 7 bus along Guillemard Road to the city centre or to Bedok Mall in the other direction. All the guests I saw looked like normal hotel guests and in other hotels nearby I saw families with children, so you could stay here with your wife and even your kids.

For the price you pay, everything was fine. Just a couple of coat hangers but if you want a whole cupboard in Singapore you probably have to pay a lot more.

The ibis Budget Crystal Hotel in Singapore exceeded my expectations. Its location, close to MRT and bus stations, as well as food centers and grocery shops, was incredibly convenient. The room was both spacious and comfortable, making it a great value for the price. One minor drawback was that it isn't the most soundproof place; you can occasionally hear people in the corridor. However, it wasn't a significant issue and didn't disrupt my overall experience. I would still highly recommend the hotel for its convenience and comfort, making it a great choice for a stay in Singapore.

Staff were lovely and welcoming. So good to leave my luggage after my long flight arriving at 7am. Meant I could make full use of the first day. Room outlets were multi-country and had USB outlets so I could plug in even without adapters. AC was cool, showers warm, and bed comfortable.

Nothing within the control of the hotel was noticeably poor. Just note that the local sidewalk infrastructure made it a slight challenge to access the building by walking from either nearby MRT station. This is easily solved with taxi - I was just cheap and able to walk with my limited luggage. I would recommend access by taxi for families or anyone with luggage.

There was no breakfast, to be honest I was surprised, but it was ok. The location was very convenient to the stadium, very closed by taxi/Grab or event with a bus that you can take nearby. The room was ok, but I didn't know that we had to activate the switch for the hot water at some point :) The 70 bus was dropping me 1 mn walk from the hotel. The 100 bus going to town was 3 mn walk from the hotel. The staff advising you what google direction wasn't :)

I believe they should advise customer about the switch even though it says hot water on it, sometimes we don't have our glasses :) The lift was doing a bell noise quite often or each time somebody was coming so I was glad to be away from the lift at some point. The MRT was 8mn walking distance

The hosts are very kind, cooperative and helpful. They are very happy for us and tried to please us. Very clean throughout. The fact that we were made to undress before going inside is embarrassing for us Europeans. Beds are very comfortable linens and towels very clean. We were in the back room and it was quiet and peaceful. Otherwise, the accommodation is on very noisy streets, but the noise is not audible. Until you get to the hotel, however, you pass through homes of typical Vietnamese with typical smells and sights. It was interesting for us to be close to the Vietnamese way of life and culture. We are very satisfied and will come again. The bus stop of bus 152 from the airport is close and convenient.

If you're looking to save money staying in Singapore this is a good place to stay. The location is fairly good as it's close enough to the metro station and bus stop so you can get into the main areas of the city for exploring and food. The staff were friendly enough and we found our room to be fairly clean and comfortable.

There were a few ants in our room but after travelling around Asia we've found this can't always be helped and it didn't affect our stay. The location is in the red light district. It was a good base but we personally didn't spend much time in the area!

Good value, interesting colorful neighborhood with busy local restaurants within a red light district area but safe as this is Singapore, I booked this accommodation instead of sleeping at the airport or at one of the airport lounges or hotels. So glad I did it this way, got to see the city and was able to get some sleep. Friendly receptionist. Use ear plugs. They do wake up calls. Taxi to airport was about 33 Singapore dollars. About 20 min to the airport.

It’s basic but modern in design

I recently stayed at Ibis Budget Singapore Crystal, and it was a mixed experience. The hotel staff was incredibly nice, always ready to assist. The hotel's location near public transport was a huge advantage for exploring the city. However, one thing to note is that the hotel is situated in the red-light district, which could make some guests feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I personally didn't encounter any safety issues as Singapore is generally a safe city. On the bright side, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk away from the metro, making it convenient for getting around.
