Is in the middle of the town, on a quiet street and in a very safe location, across from Police Station. Charming, restored, old building with all the modern amenities. Parking (on street) might be an issue, needs reserved parking spots, many locals seem to be parking around that location. Much better option than any local chains. Traian Hotel was booked and more expensive than this facility.

Signs for Porto Franco suggest traveling into the oncoming traffic (one way street). There might be another way to access the location but Porto Franco should approach/contact guests with better directions to their location.

Big rooms, nice shower, airconditioning and a refrigerator. They offer breakfast as well. Friendly staff.

It is a nice accomodation, the biggest downside for us that there was no controller for the airconditioning, so we has to remove the power cable to not freeze:). You have to make a quit high step to get into the shower.

Amazing location (one minute from the main pedestrian street), breakfast was enough (it's a la carte - I brought my own black tea though), kind and lovely staff (we had some misunderstanding regarding our room but it was solved). Working AC, big room, nice shower, lovely garden to have your meals in.

Staff should be better trained, as kind as they are. We checked out early morning and we could not find anyone around - leave a note or a bell to know how reach them if they are somewhere else. Toilet would splash every time we'd flash.

What a historic stay. I felt like I was in the 1920’s. We are riding the Eurovelo 6 and this motel is and easy ride to the route and pretty close to the ferry crossing. They have a safe and secure place to lock the bike. a

The front desk is at the front of the building which was closed. We had to go to the restaurant on the side of the building to check in.

The room was very big, offering a lot of space for a week stay. Clean. Great breakfast. Personnel is very polite and helpful. Could be used as a base camp for day trips in Macin for trekking.

It would be great if a few parking spots could be reserved for the clients. All the parking places around the hotel are occupied either by police official or personal cars as the hotel is situated in front of the Police station.

I booked this stay for my mother. They checked her into a suite in which the shower didn't work. The next day they moved to a superior suite without charging extra. The staff was professional and friendly. They get above and beyond to make my mother stay pleasant. Thank you so much.

Family room was really nice and spacious. Perfect home made breakfast in the morning. This is may be the safest place in town :) With dozens of police cars outside and main police station just across the street.

Of course there are small things to be improved, but it is totally worth the money…

Very central, but quiet neighborhood, nice terrace for breakfast and for talking with friends in the evening. The host was very kind and helpful. Good breakfast.

Mind the staircase. I made a bump on my forehead on the halfway of the staircase. There must be a signage there!

Friendly staff, old restored building, retired & quiet place near to the center of city. Breakfast was good enough for me and my friends. Parking places were reserved at our arrival.

Well, as all hotels fitted in an existing building, there are some inconveniences concerning room arrangement, e.g. space , arrangement of facilities, etc.

The check-in and check-out experience was great. The location is excellent, close to all the tourist sights. The room was large enough. You find slippers in your room. Breakfast comes in four options, and is good.
