Whenever I travel to Bucharest, I stay here. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast is to die for. The property has a parking lot in front (paid, but very convenient and it's guarded). In my last review I complained about their Wi-Fi setup and, since it was a common complaint, they promised to upgrade it. They made good on their promise. The Wi-Fi is much better now.

The Wi-Fi is still not stellar. It's more than adequate, but still not very good. On the other had, I'm a techie and spoiled when it comes to internet, so take my complaint with a grain of salt.

Very well maintained and modern style rooms - they even exceeded my expectations on the base of the photos seen and booking.com. The Breakfast was very good = variety of choices + very good coffee ! :-)

Lack of places at the Hotel Parking on the first evening. Eventually, after the support of reception Staff, the problem was resolved, but initially the guys at The Parking barrier were very unkind and even mocking us for not having a place to park our car. At least 7 or 8 free spaces for handicapped people were available, but we were initially refused to leave the car for the night at one of those free spaces.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Fast and stable WiFi. The location is great because there are plenty of transport lines to the city center. The yellow metro line goes to the city center for about 30 minutes and makes connections with the green and blue line after 1 station of travelling. It goes even close to the Arena Nationala. There are many busses and trolleybuses with which you can go to the each part of the city. Overall, a very good hotel for people who want to explore Bucharest without paying too much for their stay.

The private parking could be a little bit cheaper. :)

Excellent location for Bucharest Nord train station which was a 10 minute walk round the corner and just what we needed for our 1 night stay- it’s about 1/2 hr walk to old town district we were told. Quiet, spacious room and clean ( room 428) though we thought the bed wasn’t very comfy, bit too hard for us. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice- help yourself to hot, cold, cooked, fresh fruit, cakes and plenty of drinks. Fantastic value - we paid about £65 for 2 B&B - it would be hard to find an hotel of this standard in any other capital city- definitely recommended fir short stay. MUST DO- tuk tuk tour of Bucharest with Valentin- brilliant 2 hour tour.

Bed not very comfy

Excellent location and the place is good for 2 day trip. The rooms are spacious enough and the bed(s) are comfortable. Basic amenities work as expected and cleanliness is in very good order.

The wifi is extremely slow by the standards of Romania in general and Bucharest in particular (Bucharest having the fastest Internet in Europe by far - but one wouldn't know that at this property). One's mileage may vary significantly when it comes to dealing with the personnel. Particularly at the restaurant. If you're taking dinner at the hotel, expect either impeccable serving or waiting for 45+ minutes for a bungled order. No in-between.

Very close to the railway station and metro. As it's a former Ibis hotel all the usual features so you know what you're getting - no frills, comfortable bed and decent breakfast. Staff were excellent and always very pleasant and helpful. They spoke excellent English, useful as my Romanian is very poor! Would recommend this hotel even though prices are certainly higher than they were but sign of the times.

Not much to complain about, bathroom could do with an update, particularly the shower. Also the curtains cover the air-conditioner unit, which isn't helpful. If curtains were shorter this issue wouldn't exist! Could do with some coffee creamer in the room as coffee facilities provided but had to be black coffee only!

Staff were very nice, helpful and professional. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Breakfast buffet was good.

Laundry is advertised on booking,.com but the hotel doesn't offer this service. As we are inter railing, we booked as we needed to do laundry. The receptionist was very good, checking with the manager and explained this was a mistake on the site, which they woukd rectify. He found a nearby laundry for us and issued us with a free breakfast. I felt the hotel dealt really well with this, so it's not really a negative experience, but just to let others know there is no laundry facility.

Fantastic location, close to the train station. Free upgrade to a suite which was a lovely surprise. Stored our luggage as we arrived early and room not quite ready. Metro just outside of hotel which was really convenient to visit the fabulous Obor Market. Staff great, rooms lovely and clean. Gave a rating of 9 as we found the rooms very warm even with the air con. Breakfast was fabulous, very good selection. On site Bistro very good food and prices. Will definitely stay again on our next visit.

This hotel is great if you are transiting Bucharest and need to get the train or go to the airport from the train station. The beds are comfy and rooms a clean. You will most certainly find a room as it's a large hotel and it's just a few minutes to walk to the train station.

The decorations are something interesting to say the least from the fake alligator skin in the elevator to the different pictures on the walls in the rooms. It gets a bit tiresome and it lacks any kind of elegance. As this hotel used to be an Ibis well it's the same Ibis but with stickers on it.

Much like every other hotel in the Continental chain, this location is very good. Friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, pretty good location (near the main Bucharest train station and right in front of the metro; also relatively close to the city center). The property also has private parking (paid, but still) and the continental breakfast is to die for. Definitely worth it.

The Wi-Fi is terrible. It exists, it's free and it does work, but the speed and quality are... less then impressive, let's say. That having been said, it's definitely not something that will discourage me from coming again.
