Silent, peaceful, clean and comfortable hostel, after 10 o'clock everyone becomes quiet.

I was looking for an international environment to meet new people, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The atmosphere was quiet with fewer people, and there were no party or social events. The hostel has automated services, but it made the experience less personal. For example, making my own bed after a long day was not ideal. Additionally, the layout of three bunk beds in a row was awkward, especially for top bunks. If you're looking for a quiet and clean environment, this hostel would suit you.

I got a room on the third floor, very quiet, with a cozy balcony where I can sit and relax. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, there are all the utensils, you can fully cook your own food. Coffee-tea from the hotel. There is also a common hall where you can work and sit with the company. there is an outdoor area. The bathroom is clean, the shower has good pressure.

The doorbell doesn't work and needs to be fixed. When I arrived, I had problems with my phone and I couldn't call the hotel. And being near the hotel door, I rang and stood for 20 minutes until one of the hotel guests went outside to smoke and opened it to me. When I went inside, the receptionist was on the spot and told me that the doorbell was not working. The doorbell needs to be fixed.

I needed a place to stay, in order to be close to the train station, as I was traveling next day early in the morning from the train station. So, I reserved a place here. The hostel is located closed to the main train station and in case that you want to go to the city center, you can either go by foot (around 30 minutes) or use the public transport which is close. The hostel is in contact with you even before the arrival by providing you the online check in and a great designed webpage, which has all the information that you need for your stay (where to eat, rules of the hostel, etc). The room was for 4 persons, was quite big and clean. The bed were comfortable. The public area was good designed, and offering all the options of a hostel (it has also a barbeque in the garden).

Third stay here since October, staff as usual were perfect. Mihail, Wilhelm always make you feel welcome. Drank a little more than I probably should have on this stay, but when it's much cheaper than back home why not induldge? haha! Great access to public transport, near the convenience store and shopping mall. Room was extremely quiet, bed was extremely comfortable (maybe a bit loud though, the base could probably do with replacing, every movement gave a loud squeak) Plus it kept me in shape because it was on the top floor. Hope to see you all again soon :)

Nothing at all, absolutely flawless

Wonderful staff, a lot of privacy in the dorms, a lot of social life, soap, towel, slippers and some basic things are included. Very clean. It is a huge plus that it is close to the railway station that you can also use to approach the airport. I did not spend a lot of time there but the time I spent there was great, exactly how a hostel should look like. If I go back to Bucharest I will definitely choose this hostel. And an overall view about Romania: I had a lot of nice surprises during these days that I did not expect and most people were very helpful and friendly. This trip indeed changed my opinion in a good way! Greetings from Hungary. ;)

I had a mixed experience at Hostel Popcorn. I arrived at 11 pm and was shown my bed, but at 1 am, I was woken up and told I hadn’t completed my check-in. They claimed my reservation was canceled because I didn’t check in online, which is required for arrivals after midnight. However, I had already checked in with someone at the counter at 11 pm. After some back-and-forth, I was told I had been placed in the wrong room but could stay there. Although they apologized later via text, the whole situation could have been handled better. I like the hostel overall, but the check-in process was frustrating.

Being woken up at 1 am and told my reservation was canceled was frustrating, especially since I had already checked in at 11 pm. The miscommunication between staff and the lack of clear instructions regarding late-night check-ins were a big issue.

The property is very modest and with an “old school” hostel vibe. The overall atmosphere in the hostel is super calm, welcoming and cozy, granted by the availability e sympathy of the hosts - they even give you a comprehensive guide with recommendations! The patio and outside areas are great for chilling. The Wi-Fi coverage is flawless all over the hostel, the lockers have good size, the rooms have AC and they also lent you a towel for your stay. It has a great location due to being very near to the main train station and to main groceries sites. Wouldn’t recommend any other hostel in Bucharest.

The living room/kitchen was hot all the time. But at least the temperature in the rooms area was always good!

Great convenient hostel. As mentioned by many people, it’s not close to the main attractions and restaurants in Bucarest so it might not be the best place to stay to explore the city. However, I needed a hostel close to the train station and for that purpose, it was amazing! 5 minute walk from the station, grocery store close and has tons of facilities (many bathrooms and showers, equipped kitchen, great wifi, great lockers in rooms). The staff was very reactive when needed and was very nice. A great place overall!

Far from the attractions and mattress had a huge curve in the middle. Nothing bad enough to not recommend this place though!

Right next to north train station so perfect to drop bags from Airport via train. The host and owner are very friendly, helpful And make for a very enjoyable, social experience. I enjoyed the living area and meeting other travelers and mingling with the hosts. They even have a little light in your locker that switches on when you open it. Very nice. And you can hang out in the back yard as well in a hammock so nice details

The light switch in our room was not conveniently located and the room door handle was loose. But these are little things i am sure they are looking at fixing as part of regular maintenence.

Reasonable price and close to the train station, great ambience, ean & quite comfy. Met some fun people when I arrived

I didnt know about pre registration online and without being let in after I showed my booking confirmation late at night and then being hped to check in on line by guestsI would gave calledthe emergency phone number for help or booked other accomodation. Only thing I'd have liked was a/c colder than 25°.I have middle age sweats & was hot all eve ing so opebed the windows which was noisy but worked to some degree. Overall clean, great vibr just coupla bits having access to staff could sort.
