The beginning did not go well to get there. Beware of taxi services. On ARRIVAL we were greeted with a smile and the lady at reception ALEXANDRA was fantastic. Because of her we had enjoyed a day tour with a wonderful private tour guide. Room big, clean, staff polite, bathroom WOW, wish we could of stayed longer. Would highly recommend. If you need a tour for a excursion ask them to call Julien to organise. Lovely man willing to go out of his way to organise the perfect experience for you. HELLO ALEXANDRA, YOU ARE FANTASTIC

Distance from some attractions but you are literally across the street from the train station. If you don't like noise close your window. BEWARE of some taxi services. Check amount before you get in car.

The location near the main train station was great as there is a train directly to airport, the metro station is just outside of the hotel and on the ground floor of the hotel is a very good restaurant open 7 days a week. Our room was on the 2nd floor oriented towards the street, but there was no noise from the street or other guests or the restaurant below. The room was great had a salon area with seating, spacious bathroom and bedroom, the heating was working and all was clean. There is a reception, so as we arrived at 10pm, there was no problem with checkin. The hotel always responded within a day when I had questions before arrival. Overall a great value for the price

We liked the hotel, the room had an impressively high ceiling, we felt like in a mansion and the bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was large, the shower was large enough as I am quite tall. We liked everything that we were offered. There is a Pub/Bar downstairs, and it looked fun for someone going out for a drink and fun.

Due to low/no requests for breakfast, there was no breakfast option available. There is a Pub/Bar at the main level but they open quite late in the day, so no option to even get a coffee. It wasn't a major turn-off, it's just something that would've been "nice to have".

The location is great. It is near the metro, supermarket (profi) and Gara Da Nord. You can go everywhere easily. And if you want to arrive airport easily, this hotel is the perfect choice. Because it takes just 20 minutes by train. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is so hepful. on the first floor there is a restaurant. the dishes are delicious but people throw the peanutshell on the floor :) I didn't understand why. If you go to Bucharest again, I will stay there again.

Unfortunately there is not oppurtunity like a breakfast buffet so you can't choose what you want to eat. So my students didn't like it.

Close to railway station which was handy for very late arrival. Late check in about 12.30 in the middle of the night was quick, no problem and no fee. Very comfy room - number 24. Had opening windows for fresh air. Has aircon and heating system which we didn't need. Has glasses, mini bar and hair dryer. Bathroom very nice with very good shower/water pressure. Breakfast interesting and creative. We don't eat meat and the first morning we were presented with a rather meaty meal that would have pleased many people. Not sure why they don't check first. The second day we mentioned it and we had a nice spread of interesting local veggie bits.

Pillows and bedding in general. Only one small pillow each. Very small and thin single duvet each. Noise from lift early in the morning (lift right outside room) ... does it need to bleep everytime it moves?

Good location. Nice and accommodating female receptionist, she dud all she could to make things right. Because of her, I am giving a much higher score than initially intended.

The hotel looks as if someone has invested a lot of money into it. However, small things ruin everything. The mattress is the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced (and I am not picky). Bedding and towels need to be replaced. We received the keycard to the room in a holder that has been extensively reused (all hotels normally give you a new one, it is a piece of paper). According to booking.com, breakfast is available on site. Actually, on the weekends it is not available.

Really fantastic. I booked for one person, everything is so big, so stylish, so clean, so nice, so beautiful, so useful. Big and fully equipped, fully functional bathroom. Living room (?) great, big, with sofa, big coffee table on wheels and tv. The bedroom is enormous, bed is enormous, carpets so fine, lights, air conditioning, wifi and tv with hundreds (!) of tv channels. Everything is ultra for only £55. Great location and a great restaurant (maybe a bit expensive for my pocket, but that's me). Glass elevator, big, silent, with a big mirror. Did I mention the bathroom? Is fantastic. Minibar - didn't touch it, not for my pocket and really not interested. The staff is super nice, polite and professional. Didn't care about the view, everything inside was soo good - and quiet.

Too good! I miss it already, I just want to go back and spend at least two weeks there.

The location is very good, near the North Railway Station, but in the good area of the neighbourhood. The hotel looks modern and it has a very nice vintage style. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very spacious. The staff was kind and polite and they have a restaurant at the ground floor where you can have breakfast, which was good, and a drink (and possibly lunch and dinner too, but I didn't try these). Overall, I totally recommend this hotel, especially for its very good positioning in the good area of the railway station and the comfort it offers. If you're in a visit in Bucharest, definitely consider it as one of your options. I will save it as the main favourite for when I'll need a new accommodation in the town.

The room I was in was facing the main street, so I could hear the noise of the tram early in the morning with my windows closed, but not excessively loud. Possibly other rooms placed differently don't have this problem.

Great hotel!!! i used to visit pub Grivita, that is located downstairs and did not know there is the hotel! and it was really really amazing! I was travelling with my friend to Bulgaria, passing Bucharest, and stayed before in another hotel for one night, that had lots of positive feedbacks, but in fact we had bad experience, so when we were going back home to Ukraine, we decided to stay here, in Grivita! absolutely everything was great - the room - big, clean, fashioned, staff - helped with any kind of questions, the pub downstairs - this is my third or fourth time when i visited it! Delicious food, big portions) the only one thing - i do not know if it for all clients or only for tourists - in the pub, the staff included extra payment to the bill, kind of tips, 15% (just curious , what if i could pay only 10%....) but in general it was good)

The location is good if you know what you want. It is 300m from the main railway station in Romania (Gara de Nord). Also, from the station, there is a very convenient train to the airport (21 minutes), better than taking a taxi - you can buy the ticket on the train - 5 lei - around $1. The subway station is 50 m from the hotel, and the subway is, by far, the most convenient way to move around in Bucharest (especially if the weather is hot - July & August, or cold - winter, or raining). The hotel is decent, in an older building, with a restaurant (pub and grill) downstairs. Also, 60 m nearby is a 24-hour convenience store. This is convenient, as there are not a lot of restaurants or shops around.

From the room, I was able to hear the subway (which is 50m from the hotel). Good for location, but not so good for a silent room as I requested.
