Best thing about the hotel was the Kaabah view from the room IF you have booked it that is Comfortable beds. Massage chairs on floor P8 10 riyal for 10 mins 👍🏼 Location to masjid Al haram. Can access from entrance and also the clock tower shopping centre.

Bathroom is very small and dated. Cleanliness wasn’t great for a 5 star hotel unfortunately. It’s difficult especially if you are in the state of ihraam. Should provide unscented hand wash atleast as anyone that will be staying at the hotel will be definitely performing umrah. Staff weren’t always accommodating to our needs and found things like replacing a leaky iron too much of a job. When we arrived our room smelt of smoke and when advised they just put scented card in the air vent which just smelt like a mix of smoke and apple. Breakfast was same every day and spread out in 4 different places.

I stayed with my two kids, room size is good for 4 people. Although from the picture is really hard to tell if the bed is fit for two people but bed is really good size. Each bed can fit two people easily. Amnities are very modern and clean. Also you can hear the azan and pray in the room speaker which is linked to haram. I had breakfast included with my booking. Breakfast had very good variety kids loved it. Hotel services is exceptional. Whatever you need they provide you in few minutes. Even we didn't have to buy drinking water. Some people was moaning about Wi-Fi but I received seamless service. The good thing hotel has two exit. One exit is through the mall and get out from clock tower and you will be right on the mosque ground which takes around 5 minutes. If you have kids and use a stroller then I would recommend to use the other exit which is the main road and it goes straight to the masjid ramp. You can go upstairs with the stroller straight away. Just one straight road. From door to masjid it's five to seven minute. The hotel has a prayer hall for men and women both which is really good if you can't make it to the mosque and they pray with the haram there is no imam. I would recommend this hotel especially if you have kids it's very close to haram.

The stay was very good and a perfect location when you are coming to perform Umrah or visit Haram. The breakfast was nice and I would highly recommend room service - the food was fabulous! During checkout, I had ordered a taxi from outside - lesson learned that always book a taxi through the hotel especially when travelling back to Jeddah as the entrance to the hotel parking is at times, not allowed for outside taxis and it can be very stressful. However, in my case, Mahmood Al Haq from concierge came to the rescue who went out of his way to help get the driver by directing him and myself, in addition to taking care of our luggage and my elderly mother to get the taxi in time to get to the airport. I will always be grateful to Mahmood for his help and hope I can personally thank him someday when I visit next Insha'Allah - a reason for me to go back and stay at the same hotel :)

The lifts need to be better managed. At peak times, it takes a long time to get a lift to the room or when one is trying to get to the Haram for Salah. A small thing but maybe there is a way to make it more time efficient.

Location. Very close to the haram if u don’t get lost in the building. Breakfast. They cater to everyone, young and old. They have pancakes and omelette station, variety of food from every continent. Staff. Very helpful staff all around. Best of all: Our room was facing the Kaaba. We were able to do a late check out.

Bathroom was outdated for a 5 star hotel. The property is right In middle of all the activity so roads close during prayer times. Taxis are not able to drop you off at the hotel. You have to walk a lot.

The breakfast was good as well as the location.

When the guest enter the room upon his arrival he expects to see tissue boxes and some fruits ready for him, which unfortunately were missing upon my arrival.

Everything was Great, but I suggest that the remaining food after the breakfast to be packaged and distributed to the poor as the amounts thrown are unbelievable. So anyone read my comment should please be careful on the amount of food remaining on their tables, either to eat it or take it with them to be eaten later or given to the poor in Makkah.

I requested to check out after duhor prayer but the reception refused, Thus I would suggest to link the check out and check in with the prayers timings.

The entire family enjoyed the stay, everything nearby, close proximity to haram. The hotel parking and drop off/pickup by taxi is on basement level where porters will take care of the luggage. The checking in is in lobby area, although small it’s sufficient for quick check in with plenty of staff. Lifts and also plentiful and holds large number of people. Rooms are spacious with large (small double) single beds. Plenty of pillows provided, lcd TV, iron and board, kettle and supplies, aircon is very efficient, safe in room, mini fridge, slippers, plenty of bottled water supplied, you can hear live adhan and broadcast from Haram in your room which can be turned off if needed. The bathrooms were large and clean with shower cubicles with seats for ease of use, the water pressure was excellent with good temperature control, along with towels, soaps, lotions, vanity kits, toothbrush etc. We could leave through the mall on the same level direct out to Haram perimeter and in front of gates 79, 84,85… The mall has 4 levels full of shops and restaurants for convenience. Another side exit leads to the street where you can catch taxis, SIM card stalls, foreign exchange, and Safwah towers where you can eat and shop at a very reasonable price. Overall the location and hotel quality is worth the money spent!

Relatively close to the holy mosque nice staff

very expensive there was some dirt in the sofa bed no shower in the living room of the suite ( not acceptable with this high price) bathrooms over all are very small and really bad ( they are far away from 5 star hotel’s bathrooms standards) they should either lower the price or improve their suits city view is bad

Here’s an excellent review for your stay at the Swiss Hotel Makkah: --- I recently stayed at the Swiss Hotel Makkah for 4 days, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The customer service was outstanding; every staff member was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food at the Al Rawaad Restaurant was simply delicious. Every meal was a delightful culinary experience, with a wide variety of dishes that catered to every palate. The quality and taste were top-notch, making every dining experience memorable. The room service was another highlight of our stay. It was exceptionally amazing and impressively quick. The minute I called for room service, within 2 minutes, there was a knock at my door with exactly what I had requested. Such efficiency and attention to detail are commendable. Our room had a breathtaking view of the Kaaba, and we could hear the Azan in our room, which added a spiritual touch to our stay. I traveled with my mother, a senior citizen, from Dubai, and she could easily go down on her own, perform her prayers, and return to the room without any hassle. This convenience was truly appreciated. I highly recommend opting for the half-board option. The breakfast and dinner provided were next level and worth every penny spent. Having stayed in almost all the hotels in the Kaaba range, I can confidently say this stay was the best, and I give it a full 5 stars. Overall, our stay at the Swiss Hotel Makkah was beyond excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Makkah. --- Feel free to adjust any part of the review to better suit your personal experience!

Honestly, the elevators were often busy, but with 4 sets totaling 16 elevators, I can't complain. At times, we had to wait 3 to 5 minutes, which I suppose is normal given the period after Hajj with many people checking in and out.

Prime location within the Abraj Al Bait complex, offering a magnificent view of the Haram and Kabah. Room had Arabic coffee, dates, and sweets. Direct access to the Haram Sahat through the mall. Ideal location for Umrah entrance and by the Safa. The meals are fresh and hearty, with a good variety at the breakfast and dinner buffet. The staff is courteous and accommodating. There are shuttle services to the train and Jeddah airport.

Being picky here, and these issues can be easily addressed: -Room service provided fresh shower towels but no hand towels, and napkins ran out. Additionally, tea bags were replenished instead of the herbal tea bags we had used. -The coffee bar had no decaf options. -The shower did not drain properly on first use, causing water to leak into the sink area.
