location was perfect for us. it wasn't at all in the middle of the touristy place which is why it was quiet but at the same time it was very near the train stations which makes it accessible to visit the other sites in Paris. There was an artisan boulangerie right across the street which made it perfect for a chill breakfast. the room was small (like most of the hotels in Paris) but for the price, it was worth it (Paris standard cost). It was cozy and homey since it was just a small hotel.

Good location & the area generally felt safe. Walking distance to Notre Dame, botanical gardens and nice bakeries/cafes. The room was clean and the twin beds were a good size. Staff were friendly and we could leave our luggage locked up for a few hours after checkout without any extra charge.

We found it odd that we had to leave our room key with the front desk each time we left the hotel. It’s the first place I’ve ever stayed where this was required. Whilst there is someone to let you in 24/7, it feels strange to rely on others to access your room each time.

Nice smallish hotel with a front desk that is manned 24/7. Very pleasant, helpful staff who were most welcoming. Nearest Metro station, Place Monge, is just round the corner, and few stops to Les Halles, Pont Neuf, Louvre, Opera, etc. Across the street are 2 boulangeries/pâtisseries for quick breakfast. Front desk happy to book taxi to CDG airport for 72 euros, taking just over an hour. Highly recommend this over taking the trains as Place Monge station has a lot of steep stairs.

The location was easy to access and it was easy to get to other parts of Paris. There were several good restaurants, boulangeries and a supermarket close by.

There were steps up to the lift area. My wife found this challenging.

The room could be cleaner, especially the wardrobe was covered with a layer of dust.

The hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it. First, it’s very conveniently located to the metro, the bus, to Rue Mouffetard, to the the wonderful Marche Monge (food & produce market), to the historical site Arènes de Lutece, plus to a host of bakeries and coffee shops. The best part, however, was the magnificent staff! Adelaide and her colleague whose name eludes me right now, but she was able to speak Spanish, plus Fatima in the breakfast room: from the reception desk and breakfast room to the owner, Ian: they were ALL so helpful (and able to communicate in English as well), plus friendly and professional all the same.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The jardin des Plantes is about 100 metres away (well worth a visit) and the Panthéon, from where you get views of the Eiffel tower and Notre-Dame, is only a few minutes walk.The room was clean and well kept and had 2 juliet balcony windows which was lovely.

The only criticism would be the breakfast room is too small for the amount of guests. In addition, if the room was full and you were unlucky enough to have a table against the wall, it was very difficult to leave your table to access the breakfast. Also the breakfast selection was very limited, but probably due at least in part, to the limited space.

The hotel is an older style, and the rooms are small - but this is Paris so it can be expected. I loved that we had an actual window that we could open. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom while also small had a pretty good shower. I loved the breakfast. Great coffee and while the basic had enough for you to start your day. The staff were also welcoming and very nice. Location great as it was around the corner from Metro Line 7 so very easy to get around. Also walking distance to some of the main sites. Would recommend and would stay again.

the towels could be a better quality..

The owners were very welcoming and the room was lovely. Bed was comfortable, plenty of space in the room (I'd read that a lot of Paris hotel rooms were very small so was a bit concerned but our room had ample space). There was a mini bar in the room, dressing table, chairs and TV. The en suite bathroom had a bath with shower over - the shower was excellent. Breakfast had a good choice, continental style buffet with hot drinks being served. We were offered the chance to store our luggage after checkout if we had wished to do some sightseeing which was a nice bonus. Hotel convenient for 2 metro stations.

It was perfect for our needs, so I don't think there was anything I didn't like. It exceeded expectations and I'd certainly stay there again.
