Nice little inn. Very clean. Staff was amazing. They have quiet hours, so you can sleep! In the morning, they have a little breakfast--- hot muffins, oatmeal, hot chocolate, tea and coffee. We sat outside watching humming birds and loving the peace and quiet!
The only thing that was remotely "bad" is the parking! It's super tight and everyone was in a big pick up or SUV, including me. So just know it will take an extra minute backing up to get out. Almost all the parking lots were like this, so just a headsup--the inn is amazing.

Loved the cute room, had plenty of space and everything one would need. The muffins in the morning were fabulous!
The only down side for me was very little fresh air. I love having a window open, and only the tiny window in the shower would let fresh air in. There were other windows, but they let to an enclosed hallway that also had windows. I didn't want to open 2 sets of windows in case not everyone is a fan of fresh air. The parking is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle or long bed truck.

Amazing stay!! This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, walls are decently soundproof, everything is clean & functional, the wifi was great and allowed me to work remotely without needing my own hotspot. The staff is very friendly. The location is quiet despite being on the main street through town. The extra touches are great - a very nice sitting area, a lending library, coffee bar and a cool sauna. There's probably more I can't think of right now, but, suffice it to say, you will not regret staying here. :)

The main attendant, Lisa, is the primary reason that we had a wonderful stay. We also took full advantage of the sauna.
The walls don't have much in the way of sound-dampening and the TV's in each room are mounted on the opposing wall from the bed (logical placement). This has the effect that the TV in the adjacent room transmits sound to the next room exactly where the bed is placed. Our neighbor disturbed us and we disturbed the next neighbor and so on.

Everything about this place was amazing! Front desk was so helpful and kind. Just love all the establishment. Everything was clean, fresh and looked presentable. Oo and YES to the muffins that I so much read about. They were just perfect home made not that store bought. ( for those that appreciate home cooked food) This place has everything that actually makes you feel comfortable. We loved everything of this place. My teenage kids really loved it and that means a lot for us. I do wanna make sure you understand this is a conservative Inn. They do have a quiet time from 10pm to 8 am. Plz be advised to respect this. It’s important for families like us to know we won’t be dealing with rude neighbors and loud noise. This is what we have been looking for. Of all our stays in Ruidoso this is the best Inn ever. Making it out forever Inn. Thank you for the hospitality.

I loved everything about my stay. Good location and friendly staff. You get some great extras for your money. You can have a dry or steam sauna. There are chairs and swings for relaxing outside. Gas grills and picnic tables for cooking , and with the fridge and microwave in my room it allowed me to save money on my dining needs , although there are lots of dining options nearby. The landscaping is beautiful and it's quiet and restful. The coffee and muffins are delicious. There are in room coffee makers, too. I plan on staying here next summer to get some respite from the desert, where I live. Ruidoso itself is a good destination with lots to do year round.

This was such a fun, relaxing place to stay. Definitely not a boring, run of the mill place. Lots of character and so very clean! The staff was very nice, too, and it's clear the owners care about this property. They are serious about quiet hours, so you don't have to worry about anyone disturbing your sleep. The muffins and the coffee (caramel macadamia nut) were so tasty! I wish I would have bought some of the coffee to make at home. Also, they decorated for the holidays, which really made it fun. We will definitely be back!
The heater struggled to keep up with the weather at first, but to be fair it was unseasonably cold and we were in a corner room with two outside walls, so it wasn't a huge surprise. We should have just turned it up sooner and it would have been totally fine.

Great staff. We enjoyed the good selection of fresh baked muffins. I know the hotel had nothing to do with the wildlife but it was exciting for us lowlanders to see a herd of elk in the evening and again the morning. I found the green space quite relaxing and zen. We liked the white-noise machine in the room, first time we’d used one.
The reviews said fresh baked cookies upon check-in but were told that was only on weekends. :( Beds were comfortable but the sheets were rough.

Lovely, renovated inn located in a gorgeous mountain town. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was spotless & very cute with extra touches that were appreciated. The bed was very comfortable & had two pillows per guest. The modern bath had a tiled walk in shower with plenty of hot water & comfy towels. The room was quiet. There is a lovely terrace with seating which was perfect for picnicking. The hotel had excellent caramel macadamia nut coffee & warm home made muffins. We were blown away by the great value this inn provided. We look forward to coming back!!
Nothing, we liked everything!

Was looking for a nice spot to stop for the night on a long road trip and this had great ratings. It is good, but my expectations were met for a reasonable place, not exceptional. It's the 1950's bones of a motel with 1960's enclosure of the open hallways, 1970's furnishings and about 5 archeological layers of changes to the bathrooms. BUT, it is charming in a grandpa kind of way, with the parking lot terrace picnic benches [that we did use for our take-away dinner], and bar bq, sauna in a wine barrel [did not use], and very kind and helpful staff. Large and very well thought out baths, nice muffins and coffee in the morning. AC WORKS [it was almost 100]. I would stay again if I needed a place in Ruidoso.
Almost impossible to not have nice views to the mountains here, but somehow they didn't make it happen. Most of the 'fireplace' rooms look over a smaller commercial drive next door and through some trees for a view. I am sure the place feels different in the winter. The area was once stellar for vacations, but the 1960's strip center appearance of many structures makes the area feel very dated.
