Easy to find, good parking and perfect for our trips to the Normandy beaches Staff friendly and range of food for dinner good well prepared and full of flavour. The staff were friendly , bed room basic but clean and for great night sleep. Despite being on the road there was little road noise. We will stay again next time we come to Normandy.

Not so much a didn’t like but a surprise on the Thursday night that the hotel was closing for day on Friday! But as we had paid until Saturday we could stay but no food or drink available nor beds made or towels refreshed. When I asked the manager for a reason, he said that the hotel would be closed for Friday but not given say reason by the owner,

This was our second stay at this hotel. We purposely caught an early morning ferry so we could stay here and eat at the restaurant on the last night of our holiday. The food was amazing last year when we stayed and this year did not disappoint. Our stay here made for a lovely end to our holiday. I have to be honest and say that we rarely stay in two star hotels but this is really good for a two star hotel, the food is amazing and its a ten minute drive to the ferry port. Our room was large, very clean and did not feel like a two star hotel. Bed was comfortable. We will always stay here whenever we need a hotel in this area. Practical note: there is lots of parking at the hotel and on the road.

There is nothing to dislike.

The room was lovely but there was no curtains on the window so no privacy in the main room. There was a shutter but it would not come down or open. We had to drape a towel over the window to allow some privacy and to b lock out daylight. The Restaurant was not open on the evening of Sunday which we were not aware of. Otherwise we would have eaten in the hotel. This was a shame as it was one of the reasons we selected to stay in this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and quiet. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed 2 suppers there. Delicious. It had a great location for touring. Saw the Pegasus Bridge, Juno Beach and Juno Beach cemetery as well as tours out of Bayeux, which wasn't too far away. Do not regret staying at this beautiful location for 3 nights

Parking lot was a little tight to get in/out of but fortunately a lot of times there were not a lot of cars in it.

Having read the reviews about the restaurant we booked this hotel for the last night of our holiday before an early morning ferry. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed an excellent meal in a lovely restaurant. Make sure you reserve in advance (just message the hotel). We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our room and bathroom. I thought this was a 2 start hotel and it far exceeded my expectations. Situated less than 10 minutes from the ferry port it's the perfect last night in France but we would have happily stayed here a few days if visiting the area. Also note there is a big supermarket just down the road perfect for any purchases you want to make before leaving France. We didn't use the hotel car park as there is plenty of parking just outside.

Nothing to dislike

Easy to find with ample parking and access. The rooms were in a different building, but very near and still secure and convenient. We got there late (about 9pm) and left about 5am, so not much time to do or see much - but it was comfy, warm, good shower - just right for what we needed.

There wasn't anything, but then we were only there for a few hours to sleep. We didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast, so I can't comment. I think this would be a good base for a longer stay.

Excellent breakfast, good quality and lots of it. Staff very helpful, still waiting for us at 11pm from the ferry. Easy to find at night, not far from the ferry. In the same village as the Pegasus Bridge and Museum. The hotel let us leave our car in the car park and we walked to the bridge and all the surrounding sites of interest - very convenient.

This is a good location for its closeness to the ferry port. It is situated in a small village close to the Pegasus Bridge and museum. We had a superior double room which was spacious and well appointed with a modern bathroom and a great shower. We slept very well. The restaurant served delicious food which is beautifully presented.

The restaurant manager had a disdainful manner and was hard pressed to be friendly. The other waiting staff were lovely.

The restaurant food was lovely. Cooked to perfection. Breakfast was basic but good.

It is sad that I can't book in advance. I would like to book for next year but instead left hanging to the last minute. This is bit archaic and surely not good for business. I am now left at booking elsewhere purely because there is no process to book in advance. I would be happy to pay upfront for next year just for piece of mind.

Our dinner was amazing. We really enjoyed the experience of eating in this restaurant. Our bed was very comfy.

The reception was smoky because of the number of people smoking right outside the front door. The toilet door was open and dirty. We were not told that entrance to reception and front door would be locked so when we were leaving at 7 am we had to find a way out through a back door we hadn’t used and just left our key on a restaurant table. There was traffic noise and children were talking outside our bedroom window for over an hour under until 11.30 pm our bedroom window whilst their parents were eating in the restaurant, when we were trying to sleep
