Very clean and big rooms, a bathtub. The view on the cathedral.

The room comes with a bathtub, but my room wasn’t equipped with a stopper, so I couldn’t use it as a bathtub, only as a shower. I asked at the reception, they said not all rooms are equipped with a bathtub stopper, so they find a free room and get a stopper from there. I mean, for that price, it’s strange there’s such an issue with stoppers. They cost almost nothing, but if you come late you may have to wait until the morning until the stopper is found. Also the Wi-Fi reception was poor. My phone was constantly losing the signal and switched to SIM, the laptop couldn’t do it of course. It was very slow. Slower than 4G. Again, for that type of hotel it’s embarrassing.

The night concierge when we arrived was also on duty the 2nd night, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, extremely helpful, and very welcoming. The older gentleman in the breakfast area was also fantastic, just as friendly and helpful. The staff made us feel like we were regulars even though it was our first visit. The hotel was exactly as depicted in the advertisement... clean, VERY big rooms, sleek and modern, comfy bed, delicious breakfast food, ideally located and within walking distance to many attractions.

We can't say anything was not to like. We would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting somewhere beautiful to stay in Novi Sad.

Good breakfast, good location, friendly staff

parking is very complicated, especially if you are first time there. Entrance in parking (lift) is behind hotel in different street without any sign on hotel to help you to find it. People which are not skill divers can damage car very easily. Also, in front of hotel there is no place to park car and ask where to go because police is very active and they wanted to charge me 200 eur as penalty for parking on pavement for 3 min to enter in hotel and ask how to reach parking spot (garage/lift). I think it will be much easier if some map with instruction will be among information regarding parking.

Everything was very good (room clean and comfortable, very comfortable beds, convenient location, good breakfast), except: 1) weak water pressure in the shower and poor drainage/removal of water from the bath). 2) Parking. We booked a parking space in advance (on the day of booking - 1 day before check-in), but the hotel parking lot was full and we received a message about this (thanks) and about the possibility of municipal parking in the city. Parking was not that easy and it took a while to get into the lot; We had to wait until there was a free space in the parking lot. But the hotel paid for parking, thank you.

Water pressure in shower and drainage/removal of water from bathtub, parking

We were guests at the hotel around 31st December for a 3 night stay. We are very satisfied with the hotel, especially the employees that work at reception. They were very nice and helpful all the time. Also the waiter that works at the breakfast room. The hotel is located right in the Citi center, 2-3 min walk to the square where are all the coffee bars, restaurant and nearby Danube park. The Petrovaradin fortress is around 10-15min walk. The hotel has it's own parking space but it's limited so if you are coming with car, reserve a spot. There is no free parking in the nearby streets. The room was clean and enormous, beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with all necessities inside. Sheets were changed on a daily basis, also the towels. Food was great and diverse so everyone will find something tasty to eat. Overall the hotel gets 10+ from us.

The location of the hotel was really good. It was easy to find and it's close to the city center.

The biggest issue with this hotel was the staff. They were unprofessional and rude since the first day. We had a problem with check-in and parking space (ask for the reservation). Even though we arrived at 15:00h, our room wasn't ready with an excuse that they had a lack of cleaning staff and that the rooms wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours. The eating area is really small and there isn't enough space for all the guests. The parking garage is crowded and small. The rooms are nice, you get fresh bath towels but they lack thorough cleaning.

The location of the hotel is perfect, a couple of minutes from the city center and all the major interesting locations.

We didn't get a chance to park inside the garage so we had to park outside in the open parking from their partners. The entrance of the parking lot was locked today so we had to wait an hour in the car and yet the hotel didn't manage to get us out of there, so we found a solution to unlock the gate at the end, but we lost a time. The hotel did offer us to stay one night for free, but it wasn't a possible solution for us. In the end, I would still recommend staying at this hotel, in case you get a spot in the garage and not in their partner's parking lot.

Excellent experience end to end: - I had to change dates of my stay due to flight cancellation, staff helped me to move it one day ahead without taking an extra fee (thank you, I really appreciate it). - Hotel organized the night transfer from the Belgrade airport for a very reasonable fee. - Location is probably the best in town. - Good spacy room, good breakfast, overall an excellent experience. I totally recommend it to other travellers and will for sure come back. P.S. There's a good cocktail bar nearby, Sobaka s Rukoi, very much recommended!

The location is perfect, being so near the centre square with a lovely view of beautiful buildings from the breakfast room. The breakfast gives a great deal of choice. We particularly liked the selection of sausages and cheeses and the fresh tomato and cucumber salads. The eggs and pastries were excellent too. Our bedroom was huge and the bed extremely comfortable. The air-conditioning was very effective. But best of all is the service at this hotel. The staff at the desk went out of their way to be helpful. My partner and I went to Belgrade on Saturday for the night, but I returned to Novi Sad for the last day of a conference. I then got stuck without a ride back to Belgrade as a colleague changed his plans. I called Hotel Centar and they very kindly organised a driver for me. I was so relieved as taking a taxi from Novi Sad to Belgrade is very expensive. Thank you.

The room I hired was spacey, it was clean and the bathroom included accessories besides the usual soap & shampoo. Although the hotel is located in the city center, the room was very quiet. The hotel offers a free parking spot which is a must in central Novi Sad. The personnel were very kind & helpful, and they spoke English. They even helped me get my car in the parking elevator! I'd surely love to stay at the Garni Hotel should I visit Novi Sad again.

I couldn't figure out how to set the central air-conditioning temperature which meant I felt cold in the room unless I stopped it completely and opened the window (outside was 35+ degrees Celsius). The included breakfasts had very few fruits and the fruits themselves were not exactly fresh. But the pickled beetroot salad was a nice discovery : )
